It really boils down to what you want the cat to do. If you give someone kittens against their will then all the better I say, nothing makes life more interesting than unwanted surprises.

yes i own him etc. but in return that i may hug him etc. i give him food and take him to the doctor. so we both give each other something in return. so he already has only lil bit freedom and ‘wild catness’ and i dont want to take all his ‘wildness’ away from him by cutting off his balls. thats all.

I have two cats, of which I mainly are care of. Like Fronebular said, just neuter him. He’ll keep his testicles, but his hot man semen won’t have any sperm in it.

AI would probably not have rights. Humans have always been afraid of being overpowered, and that’s why we oppress things we find harmful, if there were objects that were on the same level of intelligence as us (if not higher), why would we give them rights? If we did develop AIs we wouldn’t give them rights, we would oppress them as much as we could. We would be so afraid of the singularity that we wouldn’t let it happen. We would limit their thinking, we would use them. Humans have never viewed others as equals, and probably never will. But if we didn’t oppress AIs, and the singularity did occur, they would have no reason to fight us, if we could overcome our instincts, we would probably live in peace. So if we did create AIs, they would probably be able to destroy us, if they had any reason to.
