Acknowledge this true issue with conquest and change it this season. Not next season. This season. I repeat. Change it THIS Season. If you want to eliminate a majority of the complaining, change it THIS season, and watch how the map Changes. Again, THIS, SEASON. Forget next season. Infact, fuck Next season. Do everyone except Agency a favor which consists of the remaining player database in the game and make this change to re-establish more hope into the game.

One way or another, it would be GREATLY appreciated and HEAVILY supported by many players if you made the following change:

When a tile is Under attack, Surrounding tiles CANNOT be attacked. That means if I attack 0,0 , the surrounding 4 tiles that can be reached are 1W,0 1E,0 0,1S 0,1N. This means that when a guild works together to attack a fort, someone cant Branch off to another tile to gain 30 minutes of delay to stay in that territory and come back to attack the nearby tiles/forts.

I know that quite a few on here will say Well that just defeats the purpose and makes it to where strategy isn’t involved. Well, Really? Do you think that attacking a nearby tile to keep your foothold in the territory While 6 of your tiles are under assault simultaneously is strategic when it is the Only way you can keep from getting pushed out of the territory? I call it cheap. It needs to be Removed.

Another tactic used is dropping nearby tiles and retaking them to gain protection and enclose a Branched tile. Unfortunately, doing this angers a few select people and makes them butthurt to the point that kicking them out of your territory makes them login to a special little Alt and spam you to all hell.

Thanks for the consideration. It will become a major turning point in conquest if implemented.

Alaric:
Puncture – leave as it is. It is formidably balanced

Holy shield: increase armor value to 45 at L10, increase duration to 12 seconds, and increase casting radius to 8. It is not overpowered and makes using this skill a little more worth it if you want to shield units. Alaric is meant to be in the middle as we know.

Divine light – increase overall dmg by 50%, radius by 1.5 each lvl, and duration by 2 seconds each lvl. (L10 would be 8 radius vs 6.5 , duration would be 14 seconds instead of 12.) lets face it. This skill is a bomb type by dumping 75 mana into it. It Should be this strong At the least.

Honored blades: Increase the dmg to 35 at L10, and increase the radius to 6.

Base dmg: remain the same
Hp: remain the same
Armor and speed: remain the same.

I know a lot of people want to nerf his hp but alaric’s issue isn’t just that. It’s equipment we are all familiar with.

Gasket:

Barrage: Increase base damage by 5 each lvl so at L10 you get an overall value of 300 vs 250.

Reinforce: This is where he should be utilized. Keep the solid + value the same. Increase the duration by 50% for each lvl (8 seconds turns into 12) and give 3% armor value for each lvl (30% for L10) before anyone says that this is too much, come on, Really? Gasket can’t stun, can’t unit support besides running into the center of towers and become a meat shield, and he’s got lower hp. He’s a walking tank. The skill costs 40 Mp and buffs Nothing but himself. He deserves it.

Siege: Add 10 dmg each lvl so at L10 it gets a 100 dmg boost. Range bonus remains the same, duration as well.

Quake: you want to make this more useful? Keep the dmg buff the same. Add the stun to burst.

This would encourage an offensive style with gasket and while others will say (well this makes him too powerful against units, towers, maybe even heroes.) gasket is meant for aoe dmg, and a slow moving tank. He can’t buff units, and with the exception of quake he can’t stun.

Isunda:

Staggerbolt – Leave it alone. It’s fine.

Mechanized sight – increase it by 2% each lvl. At L10 it would effectively end up at 50% total bonus. Range added is Just fine, and duration should be left alone. Double the radius from 4 to 8. Isunda worked as unit and tower support back in the days of old. She Needs this. Leave mana cost the same. She can’t heal units like Colette seripha so the offensive capability at 30 mana cost is just fine. Colette’s perfect timing radius is also larger than mechanized sight.

Mana Mortar – decrease mana cost to 35.

Speed Passive: leave as is, or increase by 1% each lvl.

I am curious as to what you disagree with corrupto, because I hate to be that guy, but I’m going to be that guy. Most if not nearly all of what he said is shared by everyone in the community with the exception of agency members and 99% of any criticism to posts like this are from agency members here or in the kong chat. I want to know where the clash of opinions lies because nearly everything he said is both Obvious, made explicitly aware, and almost impossible to contradict, unless it goes against the interest of agency, in which case no one else gives a flying ****. :)

Yep. Unless they decide to show up randomly and prove us otherwise this at the moment is a dead effort and killin the game. For those who say I whine, please shut the hole in your face. You all have the same concerns. Hell, even leading agency members do despite their hold on the game. I am convinced that this is a dieing soon to be dead effort and people like me don’t hurt it’s chances. We just speed the process in place up. Lol.

I hate to be that guy, but I guess I will be that guy representing a majority of players whether you have mild experience or are a veteran in the most competitive guilds. Please post when we can get together with a few of you devs and get these necessary changes refined and ready to implement. Only a couple of us are raising hell when we shouldn’t have to and nearly all of us feel the same. It’s a clear sign that we among many others really do care about this game and its future and at best the recent actions project a clear message of willful negligence toward your entire player base. Enough is enough, isn’t it? You have the opportunity to revamp this game and bring in more players and revenue, so don’t delay anymore and take the time to get ahold of a few of us and finish what has been started since beta and put off for one reason or another ever since.

That is good to know Rudg. In that case, you and the other devs could really help us out by fixing and adjusting the crucial factors that we ALL need changed. Believe it or not most of us actually know what we are talking about to a T and can balance this game as well if not better than the devs themselves. We live it every time we log in and you have to admit that as it stands it is reaching a breaking point where it will either have new life breathed into it, or die.

Any further discussion with you has no meaning so this is my last post towards you. Even veteran players who raid lvl 7 and 8 citadels on a Daily basis attested to the issue and unless you have personally had some Extreme luck , not a single player besides you attempted to contradict the subject and agreed to it and even you must see that. You didn’t just give your opinion. You didn’t investigate the issue or look at every other persons response. Again, reserve the willful ignorance for another topic. :P

They just recently changed the rates it seems to where they actually Drop again. Beforehand none were dropping for any players, even if you raided a few hundred bases. Maybe you should reserve your willful Ignorance for another topic.

It has been stated and I think a reminder needs to be spammed. Put, A, Freaking, Fort, Limit, or do something significant to change conquest that has been suggested 15 different ways. Please do look at your conquest map in the morning so you can see a repeat of season 2 within the first day. This is killing your game.

BRING BACK THE DAMN ORICHALCUM & CLOUDSTONE CORES.

Seriously. Whether anyone reading this likes it or not the drop rate is either Non-existent or extremely LOW. I have been raiding bases on a Daily Basis anywhere from L6 to L8 Citadels and have not had a single core drop in nearly a month. I know of many other players who are experiencing the exact same thing.

Please, either change this or make the items in the traditional forge Forge-able with other ingredients such as more forge kits and what not. This is becoming ridiculous.

Considering my last post had a mediocre attempt to pick it apart, I don’t care to go into great detail discussing and/or arguing about the same subjects that many already know the answers to and choose to represent their own context Regardless of the facts present. What I said “but I don’t care to listen to someone state that they want to give other players and/or whole guilds a shot , and then heavily crush them repeatedly whenever they make an effort to earn something instead of just get angry or upset because they can’t defeat someone,” that was refering to Dowik, not you cheese. I enjoy how you and a couple others make assumptions. Dowik, me, and many other players are aware of all the current issues and countless different innovative ways to IMPROVE the game. That being said, I was simply stating that it is annoying to watch someone be AWARE of all of this, and state how they wish things would be changed from A-Z , but turn around and of their own volition use every possible advantage to completely crush any and all competition, whether its large or small. This may be a war game by nature, but don’t claim to care if you choose to help ruin it. In other words, Just because you CAN, doesn’t mean you SHOULD. I wasn’t around for season 1 with the Monks and I barely joined during the Agency/ISS assault that pushed us out, and I still fought hard despite not knowing the circumstances fully.

It is a very simple concept to understand. If you want to react towards me like “lololol” then I don’t mind. Let’s see how long that lasts.

There is some truth to what you say cheese. The only factor that has bothered me about your guild is a select couple people who understand the game mechanics and imbalances perfectly, but choose to exploit it freely. Of course, this is past and gone with this season over and a new one coming. I know the contradiction comes along that “if you could do it you would as well.” I won’t deny that I enjoy being competitive, but I don’t care to listen to someone state that they want to give other players and/or whole guilds a shot , and then heavily crush them repeatedly whenever they make an effort to earn something instead of just get angry or upset because they can’t defeat someone. The real world is a harsh place. I worked a 13 hour shift myself today.

At any rate, I don’t want you, din or dowik to go anywhere. I would prefer to challenge you, and if I lose, give you hell before I fall. Unfortunately, we need more players with that mind set and capability to overpower you.

It has already been suggested and it needs to be implemented. Put a limit on the amount of forts One guild can occupy. This fort limitation should Not include the Bastion. The current setup has become Ignorant.

Suggested previously by someone else, the Orbs used in conquest should also be available to use on your personal base. However, the Bonuses provided by the orbs should Only apply to Defense Towers. The following is also an elaboration on someone elses suggestion, but I believe it may yield a more balanced approach.

Tier 1: 2 Medium Forge Kits, 200k Wood/Iron , 100k Arcana. Build Time – 8h

Ruby: Increase Attack by 10%

Emerald: Increase Hp by 10%

Sapphire: Increase Attack Range by 1

Topaz: Increase Burst Range by 1

Diamond: Increase armor by 5

Tier 2: 1 Large Forge Kit, 500k Wood/Iron, 200k Arcana, Tier 1 Corresponding Gem. Build Time – 16h

Ruby: Increase Attack by 15%

Emerald: Increase Hp by 15%

Sapphire: Increase Attack Range by 1, 10% Speed

Topaz: Increase Burst Range by 1, 10% Attack

Diamond: Increase armor by 10

Tier 3: 5 Large Forge Kits, 500k Arcana, Tier 2 Corresponding Gem. Build Time – 1d

Ruby: Increase Attack by 20%

Emerald: Increase Hp by 20%

Sapphire: Increase Attack Range by 2, 10% Speed

Topaz: Increase Burst Range by 2, 10% Attack

Diamond: Increase armor by 15

These gems are available only to your units. Each unit has 1 gem slot available, giving you the ability to mix and match. So, if you want to provide your rivets with an hp or armor bonus and your mages with higher burst range, or stack up your rangers with 20% attack per ranger, it is very well doable. This will allow you to focus on certain strengths of each unit and utilize them to the fullest for your current attack. The required materials are not Ori cores nor cloudstone cores because Everything else significant requires them, and these gems will cut into your Forge Time already.

To add to the suggestion of Critical and Dodge abilities, I propose the following: Dodging should be based on the Unit Type, and should scale with unit level. Equally, Accuracy can be implemented and scale with Tower Type and level.

For instance: Archers and Mages should be the most agile, while your Swordsman and Gyrocopters have moderately agile due to their moderate armor and weight, and Rivets/Voguls have the lowest agility.

The Flipside to these units on Critical rating: Voguls/Rivets (Yes, I said Rivets, Lol) have the highest critical ability, because they are large, bulky units with little ability to dodge or move quickly, but they are able to throw that weight around and hit hard. Swordsman and Gyrocopters by nature should follow the middle ground of critical ability, and your Mages and Rangers being Ranged units should have the lowest ability to strike a critical (Can you imagine full damage buffs And high critical on these? OP much?)

Accuracy on Towers should Scale as follows:

Archer Towers have the highest accuracy
Flame Bunkers have moderate accuracy (Burst damage never misses if the initial hit occurs of course)
Web Pillars and Mage Towers Never miss (They would become almost worthless with Gem buffs on Armor late game if they could miss.)
