This thread is a tribute to the highest ranked player here at Kongregate platform.

It has to be done this way since Kong’s Achievement department keeps records of weekly highs only. All-Time tab shows stats for old rating system.

So, without further ado let me crown our latest king ***4EvrNiel***. Just recently, he was at his best and ranked 12th with 2955 rating points.

What is really impressive, he did it w/o Warlocks (didn’t have a full stack of) and playing just challenges. When doing so he was member of the Eagle clan.

In early 2014 Muhupuhu/POKER was in 2900s also (very close to 3k), ranked 2nd, but back then everybody still played, including first 10 players so you could steal their points. Now, they just exchange wins with members of the same clan (staging battles w/o gear), if they play at all. So, it’s pretty much equal to being 12th today.

Mambu was ranked mostly 6th (correct me if I’m wrong) in the old rating system (no negative points for losing).

It is difficult to say from those 3 whose score is most valuable coz the circumstances where different, but I would have to say that there were more top notch players in Mambu’s and Muhupuhu’s times.

ferma clan again..i never get their high ranked players in PVP, yet often they finish even stage 2 of RQ and this is the way: 3×1 vs other clan member

i don’t agree with you red, you’re going to extreme. it’s not that someone plays with Lava/Mithril rune all the time. i use them very rarely only if i need to finish challenge in time, rather than end up short for a win or two. that makes me stronger and can beat autoed opponent in 1-2 min (average 3-4 min) which is much less than 10 min cooldown penalty. so i consider fleeing to be unfair in all cases and i never flee..

Dear NIVAL! You have successfully dealt with downgrading! Kudos! BUT now you have to decrease the number of wins in challenges. Here is why. The first 50-win challenge was managed because players were prepared at lower rating and some opponents were examining the (null) effects of downgrading. That won’t be the case already in next challenge. Rating positions are now established. Opponents you get now are equally strong, either side can win same # of times and the battles take long – 20 min in average. Also, average # of players participating in challenge is 5. So, the math goes like this:
4 hours = 240 min = 12 battles = 6 win + 6 losses; 5 players x 6 wins = 30 wins (instead of 50). You should also drastically cut down the # of wins in weekend challenges (sth like 50-100-50).
