In response to ppl with alternate explanations:

The rats were redrawn in the third turn of the game, before the AI had any other non-coin cards (and no epic coins).

With stratagem, after getting suspicious I watched the bank while the AI spammed cards, it restocked twice that turn, without synod being in play, and as far as I know there aren’t any other green cards that restock in that deck anyways.

It’s not like I didn’t consider alternate explanations, I just ruled them out before posting so I didn’t mention them.

I’ve noticed that on journeyman difficulty and above some cards the AI uses seem to get extra abilities not in the text, is this a bug or intended difficulty boost?

Stuff I’ve noticed so far:
Stratagem instantly restocks bank (this is in addition to extra start of turn restock), noticed in campaign chapter 5, journeyman difficulty
War herds that sacrifice themselves are instantly redrawn, noticed in journeyman skirmish, no shrines of rebirth in play

There’s probably more buffs that go by too fast to see, if anyone else sees something weird post below, if it’s intended then maybe we can figure out what we’re dealing with

another error that seems to have popped up after the change is that occasionally when I click the fight button i lose connection to the server, and my game stops working (units just stand there, no buttons, no waiting for opponent banner, etc.) and I end up autoforfeiting. This is very annoying and is happening regularily, preventing me from playing. Please check if the new server is changing its ip adress or smtg like that to cause a connection loss for slower computers with bad internet

rare cards are not at all necessary to do well, some of the strongest cards in the game such as spike and blight are only uncommon and durant, THE best card, is a common that everyone starts with one of.

also, you don’t actually need much to create a powerful wood or crystal deck, the wood deck I use has almost entirely cards from my first week and I have never paid.

Arthur knight is the easiest to use but it’s not exactly hard to do better if you’re good

arthur + knights is just the noob deck, there are other ways of winning, for instance burnout revenge is common with more experienced players and I personally use foxes and dogs with a >50% win rate against gold decks

I’m not really understanding aura stacking

right now I have both ultra shield and imperial seal, and I thought that using them together could beat the ‘no meat shield with ultra shield’ rule.

So I made a human army which had a hero with ultra shield and a buffer with imperial sea, and gave all the meat and archers cheap armor/shields that raised their defense to 6, so that 6 – 8 + 3 > 0 would let them live, hopefully allowing me to wreck everything with combined tank/archer+meat shield assault.

However, when I tried using this army almost everyone died instantly. this makes me wonder if defence is checked after every aura and ultra shield is applied first, instead of adding the auras together or maybe their is smtg weird with aura stacking mechanics/a glitch.

If someone can tell me what’s going on, please do

Healers arent suppose to heal itself , this make the game unbalance isnt it?
Lets say 2 arrows hit 1 healer(2 heals) and another unit . Healer can only heal that wounded unit and not self heal and that wounded unit.
Just get another healer unit to heal that wounded healer.

1:you can try it yourself if you want, i can’t post screenshots, but it only seems to happen if the unit has never been on front line so you might not see it

2:the problem isn’t the healer not healing itself, the problem is the healer healing the other unit wounded by the same arrows, which violates the current setup of abilities not being able to interfere with other abilities used in the same row on that turn. I don’t want the result to be
arrow 2—nothing—nothing—heal 2(healthy)
nothing—nothing—nothing—resource (healthy)
i want
arrow 2—nothing—nothing—heal 2 (wounded)
nothing—nothing—nothing—resource (wounded)
which makes more sense

1.not sure if this is a bug or intended, but it’s weird: units with frail which are never on the line where frail is displayed in their info (ie rowa never on front line) are not destroyed when wounded.

2.currently, a healer affected by a multi-wound ability like arrow 2 can’t heal itself, which makes sense. but can heal other units affected by that usage of the ability (ie arrow 2—nothing—nothing—heal 2 (healthy)
nothing—nothing—nothing—resource (healthy)
becomes
arrow 2—nothing—nothing—heal 2 (wounded)
nothing—nothing—nothing—resource (healthy)?!
plz fix

there are actually 2 reasons to keep cards in your hand: benched cards are vulnerable to queens summons summons and they cannot be used for energy. You can only convert one card a turn and once a card is benched it can no longer be converted, which can occasionally pose a problem in the early game. There you go, and if you want to say anything more you should probably start a thread for it to avoid taking up to much space in the suggestion thread

The wizard was OP but now the bench is OP

how can something that’s not a card and that everyone has equal access to be OP? The bench is a feature of gameplay and if some people are better at using it then others then the solution isn’t to nerf it. If I said that the homeland (no-bench play area) was OP because orbs there can damage you that doesn’t mean a penalty should be applied.

this isn’t a screenshot but it’s still epic, possibly one of the longest games in orbs history it consists of 49 turns of endless trolling. Read the entire history to pick up some good strategies.

it’s not a bug, those cards exhaust on use and unexhaust between def and main phases, if you didn’t use it in previous main phase you can use it during def phase then itll unexhaust and you can use it during main phase

To be more descriptive of the bug, it is milling more than it should be per use.

I don’t know if this is the source but it might be that you didn’t notice that horse mill can be used as many times per turn as you have cards, so 1 mill could hit you a lot of times per turn, especially in an ant deck or smtg similar.

I’d recommend some sort of campaign, maybe make up some story about conflict between colours/types, or don’t bother and just make battles, with orbuck and card rewards so ppl can get cards that aren’t in decks faster or get second decks. Also, shark and honour wizard desperately need to be nerfed, shark is too strong and wizard is too cheap. Also, in general I would recommend giving strong cards more specific colour reqs, just so ppl can’t put the strongest cards into the same decks. Relax by the beach also needs to cost more and/or do less.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Legacy of Heroes] Inconsistency

I’ve noticed that the Iso-Man backstory seems to conflict with the Cornerman’s flavor text. According to issue 11, and maybe the card (i don’t have it) Iso-Man has had his powers for a while. But the campaign also states that he is the past version of the Cornerman, who apparently gained his powers while working for the EFL, which i’m pretty sure came after the MeanWhile Squadron.

I care way too much about consistency, so if I messed up, someone tell me and if you have another inconsistency please post it here so the content creators will notice and (hopefully) fix it. My OCD will thank you.
