Topic: Dream World / This game should have a bigger level capacity

All I’m saying is I’m planning on grinding a few years down the road over 100 if he lets me. So many random goals to accomplish. I have 1 of about 20 done so far and thats only reach 5 bil damage in a single fallen before I reach 95 (yes I’m s2 so that has been a limiter). Got 19 goals to go before i can retire whatever random name I end up with.

Well that’s just not true. To at least a few of the most active players or the people who know them and want active players in the game it matters. Plenty of people have quit or gotten bored when they hit 99/100 depending on the time. It sucks seeing someone quit just cause they have no motivation or goals to accomplish. Plus it wouldn’t theoretically be that hard to program more levels. Needed experience just goes up by 50% each time. The percentages are already there. You’d just need to expand the parameters. Issue comes as to what the benefits of leveling more would be aside from a little bit more MP and HP every time you gain one… which means not letting people go over the max hp allowed or w/e. Point being I agree… more levels.

Well obviously I should comment or at least explain to those of you on S2 about the situation that lead to this thread. Just so everybody knows, I did not actually know that I was “cheating” when I started this situation. I figured that I had just discovered a loophole. I searched the forums for any sort of a thread forbidding something like this, and the only thing that I saw was the posts forbidding alts from hitting ai in the same guild. I figured what an excellent opportunity, especially since it takes S2 at least a week if not 2 or 3 to get up 7 mystics. It wasn’t until recently that even 6 guilds became consistent in putting up mystics, while waiting for the 7th to come forever. Obviously with the speed of MW on S1 this is an impossible situation, so I’m sure it could never be thought of. This being said, I made an alt to start working.

To clarify, I’m the one responsible for the idea, the work, the alts, w/e else there is going on. In fact, my members didn’t know exactly what was going on. They figured it was coming at some point, but as for big hitters, I decided to start it when I had 3 (including myself on). It was luck of the draw. First come first serve. This was a very controversial issue even within our own guild. While several thought it was brilliant, others shifted away at the immoralities involved, as obviously most of you do as well. Thats why I couldn’t even trust my own guildmates to tell them when it was starting. Only hint was I changed diplomacy a bit earlier in the day, so if they missed that there was no sign. I even lied to my guild mates to give reason to the reason that they could not hit the mystic.

I was clever and quiet about it. If it were not for the fact that the name was similar, we used it as a side guild for malic to showcase his newly found FW ability of downing it in a single run, and we did this for a second time, it would have been quiet. Most people didn’t even see the first one coming and missed the name of the guild that was 7th or forgot it by the time others were on.

That being said, there is one point that I would like to comment on, mainly pointed out by kelkka. I can disagree so much with the fact that BGD has never used UVF to win FW or to give themselves an advantage in MW. UVF will not do a single FW in a week if they are against BGD, even if Hora is in the guild. The moment they side with BGD, however, he proves that he single handedly can do more fws than… well pretty much anyone besides BUD and even outdoes us at times. On top of that, BGD will use UVF as a sacrificial pawn to get on the side that they want in FW. Half defeats the point of waiting if you can use your wing guild to tip the scales and immediately join the team you want.Also they have waited intentionally to put up the seventh mystic until it was convenient for BGD to hit. I will accept a lot of hatred on this, and I’m not trying to say that I was in the right in any way. I will not, however, accept that we are the only one to abuse the situation of a mystic or FW. Obviously just an alt guild is a different situation, but if you wanted to drag that point out I feel a need to defend myself a bit on that one.

Everything else is just my fault. I know I can’t correct what I have done and you will all continue to hate on BUD and especially me. I can’t really blame you. I put my guild in an unnecessarily bad situation to benefit myself and maybe 2 other random people that got on. The least I can do in this is situation is to resign from GM, because obviously none of you want to hear from me anymore. I’m not going to be a part of the guild in any way other than using my e anymore and maybe misting. Malic will be put in charge, mainly because he was the voice of reason I ignored when I decided to do it again. He had no idea what was going on originally and actually refused to hit this time around.

I welcome all anger or hatred or compliments (whatever your fancy) and am willing to answer whatever questions may come. Feel free to pm me or reply here. I’m always in chat so I will get it at some point, and once again, I’m sorry to have upset everyone.

Its called he slacked for a month :D also when you get to higher levels you can get coin easily as long as you don’t mist a ton or buy really expensive items. Thats why everything goes for around 1t coins at least if its an ok item.

While I hate to carry on the issue, I have to agree with Malic. The point wasn’t to say that guilds won’t down fws. The point was that the vast majority of the guilds don’t down any fws. Yea thats a large list of s1 guilds that didn’t down a single boss, but compared to the number of guilds that did, its nothing compared to s2. Only 12 guilds did any damage, and 3 of those were dictated by members my guild. You can’t say that only 10 guilds on s1 would be able to down an FW and call it a fair race. I agree the hp needs to be upped and FW2 open, but you have to understand why kingk is trying to wait until the overall average level of the server increases before he does it. All he wants is to keep the players playing, and creating an even more disadvantageous situation for lower players when they are just starting to get to the point of capping will ruin it for a lot of people. He doesn’t want to waste the effort and money he put into creating S2 to go to waste by killing any interest at all. As a result, higher levels are getting bored, but at least act like you realize why he would wait rather than stake the benefit of the 6 people who can 1 run an fw over that of the whole server. The fact that they are all still playing and most are ok with hitting other things or cutting back their damage done is enough of a testament to that. We in BUD have a lot of people who like to run FWs and do a lot of damage obviously, but as long as we get a coin cap we can manage. We really would just like to have active people chat with us and like to play than to get a bit more exp for the most part. Thats all.

Most people on S2 would agree that these need to be expanded mainly to keep people interested. Almost all of the top 20 do over 100m a run at least and top 5 (maybe 6) can down it in one run. FW2 would be an ideal option and maybe a bump to 600m on FW1 as well. That’s just my opinion. And I’m sorry for the S1/S2 comments. I just wanted, like repair said, this thread to be about us enjoying the game rather than letting everyone bash on S2 because of a lower hp FW that we don’t have a choice on. Didn’t mean to raise an inter-server war on that.

I’m sure that a lot of people on S2 wouldn’t hate seeing the HP bumped up for the fortresses too. However, you have to keep in mind that S2 has been around for only a year. A lot of the newer or less active players can barely cap a fw, as shown by the fact that only 12 guilds downed any at all. He’s trying to keep it balanced between people who want to hit more while not making it impossible for the lower levels to kill one at this point. We know S1 has more heavy hitters and can solo the fws here. Several of the top players on S2 can solo that as well. Problem comes when they have to wait and can’t do their full damage because of other players wanting a cap. We in BUD literally had 5 people on at many points of the war wanting to run who did between 100m-250m damage a run. Hard to have a full showing when everyone is limiting their damage or opting to not hit because it’s too crowded. While everyone’s points about S2 may have some validity to them, you can’t really compare the two servers at the moment. Just saying.

obi that is not saying that you can’t attack lower players. this is simply saying that you won’t get score gained from attacking them, while if you attack someone closer to your current score then it’ll let you gain more score from the kills. this is meant to let people build up and actually play instead of just having ppl crust them repetitively to get a better score.

I really don’t plan on using this thread for just myself, if it picks up that much at all. I already know their is a guild promotion page. Mainly I want it to turn into a player advertisement to help people get recruited. I’m technically looking for people who are active, wanna enjoy the game, and wanna play with other players who are active and are willing to help out.

I’m the GM of Bringing Destruction, ie. BUD, on S2, and we’re technically looking to “purge” some of our longtime inactive members. We really want active people more than anything. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a slower guild, we just want activity.

While we are looking for people willing to join us, it becomes increasingly preposterous to try and find people who are content with leaving their guild, despite the fact they are going to be joining a top 5/10/50 guild. I want people who are ready and willing to not 100% forget their old guild, but are willing to better themselves (better exp, weapons, teamwork, etc.) in a different guild.

This is made more for a bartering system where you advertise yourself and others bid on what they have to offer, rather than you hunting us down. I’m going to always be in chat room 22, our official chat, and pm me at zbomb0808 if you are interested in what we have to offer. I’ll always get back as soon as possible. Like I said though, I want people to make it known that they are willing to improve and get the best possible program that they can be offered.

If we’re going to have an ally switch by hotkeys, can we make it so we just have a primary and a secondary one you can set up. Then you just rotate by hitting the ? key or something. That way you don’t have to scroll. I didn’t have to switch before, but now that I am, that would be an excellent addition.

Lately, every computer that I try to access kong BD on won’t let me get onto the actual game. When you log in, the world selection screen is all bunched up into about an inch of space and it won’t let you select a world. I really don’t care about most of what was said in this but of course like a nub I wasted my time reading this whole thing. I feel we don’t technically have anything to complain about on the right side. It was a fun era so far and I feel like a few things could have been better… I say that at the start of next era if we do this again, which we should, we make it so that the only NAPs should be with the left and right side… doesn’t matter if there is a troll alliance or not, no other NAPs. I thought that was the way it was supposed to be this round, so I was more along the sides of elric where if we were gonna kill you guys then we probably deserved the rewards, but if there was no rule set down that there were no other NAPs then technically fingerling is right. We’re winning for right now and its over and done. It was a fun well fought era and I’m ok with it. Good job left and S
