these are some small suggestions and things that tick me off a bit in this game
1.The guns on the GUI are too high and they become a blind spot it’s annoying and intrusive, I can’t even notice when an enemy player is coming to my left.
2.I can’t tell the diffrence between the Smoke grenade and the Flash grenade the skins are the same and it’s really difficult to tell them apart.
3.When the C4 T player is killed and he drops the C4 you can’t pic up his weapon
4.when the C4 is droped T’s should see it on the Radar where the C4 is at
Minor complaints and suggestions:
1.The D.E. skin is horrible
2.The XM1014 skin is horrible
3.Why did you change the original m4 skin it looked good(if it was copyright reasons ignore this)
4.The AUG doesn’t zoom which is a bit disapointing but not a huge thing
5.All of the guns sound more or less the same give it some variety
6The voice chat got taken down(If it was being abused then I can see why it was scrapped_
7.The voting system is terrible why not when a player starts a kick vote put on the screen this Vote kick of X.player press F1 to stay presss F2 to kick
8.Getting stuck on stairs
9.The smoke on the smoke grenade doesn’t serve it’s purpose you can still see the players when the pass through the smoke
10.add silencer for CT M4
11.make AK for T’s only and M4 for CT’s
12.add body armor

That’s pretty much it for now if I find something else I will edit this post.

Ty, I’m a big halo fan and I thought this was absolutely amazing! It’s Cortana and Kalmiya, an earlier prototype of Cortana. Also, to the people complaining about no ADS, ADS is still there. You have to be in a custom game, and it has to be enabled. This isn’t CoD or BF people, it’s only Critical Strike. Sure the ADS is a little funky, but you know what? You have it. Haha, nope, it isnt even ADS, it is Doom type of view, the AUG scope (Which is its main herald) doesnt even aim down, jesus, the Glock 19 hasnt even got it, we cant just “Deal with it”, so, we dont even have it.

Actually, you can. It’s close enough. If you want it just like CoD or BF, go fing play that and stop b!tching about it. We have enough whiners not getting their way. Who cares if it isn’t perfect? It is ADS, and its alot better than some games I’ve seen, which you zoom in the crosshair and get really high sensitivty so its a b!tch to snipe. Your gun moves to a point you see down the sights, so “Deal with it”. The real CS has only a couple that you “ADS”, and yet people manage! Isn’t it so fing amazing?! That you can actually DEAL with something you get?! I know it’s hard for your feeble mind to comprehend. And for once more, this is Critical Strike, NOT CoD, or BF, or Doom, OR EVEN COUNTER STRIKE.

that feature is not only in CoD it is in the original CS and the other CS games even The clones have it and it’s something you’d come to expect since this is a clone of that same game

You really don’t understand their situation? More money = More content. Besides, they were trying their best not to make the ads interrupt a user’s gameplay.

i think you didn’t understand i don’t mind the adds what i mind is when they are going to be played but vile already explained how’s going to go so it’s ok.

It’s to prevent from defending that point easily.
Imagine that the only entrance was the main door.
It would be really hard to attack the site, since everyone who’s defending has their gun pointed towards the door.

e.g There’s a total of 16 players in both teams.
If there were 6 CTs defending B and there’s only 1 entrance,
6 people had people had their gun pointed towards the entrance while the 8 Ts needs to go in, and aim their gun.
Now the problem is that the Ts are already shot before they could even move their gun.
Which means that 6 CTs actually defeated 8 Ts easily.
This is a similar situation in assault.
(In my last 2 posts.)
Now if there were 3 entrances, their are only 2 CTs having there guns pointed at each entrance.
Plus, with the help of 2 extra members, the Ts can actually defeat the CTs, since there 2.66 Ts approaching each entrance.

Now if you’re gonna say TL;DR, It’s not that long. I even used the enter key.

this is a case of not talking about the same thing i thought you were talking about assault not de_dust2
on that note i agree with you about de-dust2 map being unbalanced

Yes.. I do play the game.. Have since it was released.. The ak and m4 are not as hard as everyone makes it out to be.. A burst with a cursor pull will kill anyone if you aim it right… If you spray and look at the pattern the first 5 bullets are relatively straight…And besides if you think ak and m4 are hard to aim now you should have seen this game when it first came out.. The cursor bump was more pronounced back then.. Btw i don’t think the setting can ever be made to peoples likings so just config it your self by making a custom game and changing shoot click interval, cursor bump, etc. to your desires Also no need to throw insults out… Just personal opinion..

Well anyways back to the matter at hand… +1 to the idea of different textures for weapons (too shiny and clunky atm) and divinenotions clan idea.. Also prakkas thoughts on the HE grenade textures..


Maybe we can make changes to the recoil for rifles by making recoil patterns instead of random bullets flying everywhere like the T pattern in cs 1.6. It would be cool to be able to control recoil. Also I noticed players can “cheat” by looking over boxes that you shouldn’t be able to. You can do this by buying a sniper and just putting your cursor a bit lower when your in front of a box that is just a bit taller. By doing this players camp and scout without revealing themselves and that ruins the fun of playing because they just sit behind boxes all game and wait until they see you and kill you. Don’t know if this feature was intentional because several people told me it was.. Just checking..


i think sarcasm isn’t your thing :3 and i do agree on the textures thing they need a change so do the gun stats

DOUBLE EDIT: I really think the weapon swap times need to be adjusted first. The increased time between when a weapon is swapped to when it can be fired has slowed the pace of the game and it makes it very much a ‘who has the biggest clip wins’ kind of game, all things being equal.

hmm i might need to check that i’ve never had that problem or maybe i didn’t notice since i haven’t taken this game seriusly since the last 3 versions or so on the weapon swap does need a change and i think there’s some map problems too saw something fly around the forums but not sure.

haven’t encountered the first problem but i’ve had some issues with lag since version 2.60k i think don’t remember

Haha yeah forgot about that. The post was getting pretty long and it slipped my mind.

Deagle is terrible. The model looks like a beginners attempt (no offense model maker) and whoever authorized it should hang their head in shame and sit in the corner with a ‘dunce’ hat on.

It shoots significantly slower, the animation is hideous and the accuracy has changed. All of this culminates to render it useless.

ouch that’s harsh D: anyway i don’t mind the nerf on the fire rate but it should be more accurate.

i think that animation makes readying the guns atleast 0.5 seconds slower not sure though but i’m not sure and i’ve seen this in other games oh and key word GAME realism doesn’t always make the game better.

As pointed out by nickpaz you don’t rack a gun every time you pick it up, if it’s loaded. This is adding significant time to the switching process and basically means that swapping guns is next to useless. You can’t whip out your deagle for a hail mary because by the time it’s out and racked you’re a corpse.

2. Knife: All good except for the stab.

The switch-to animation looks great, the model is good but the 2nd attack is horrendous.

When you stab someone they can be completely out of alignment with the knife. It looks clunky and amateurish. With the original stab it didn’t matter where they were because the animation covered the entire area in front and around the x-hair.

3. UMP: My god how I have waited for you for so long, my love, my all. Why so weak?

Model: Awesome.
Animation: Just as good.
Damage: Needs increase ASAP, doesn’t have to be much but it needs a tweak.
Accuracy: Can’t tell for certain just yet but if the damage increase doesn’t make it slightly more effective then this will need to be tweaked also.
Bullet Speed: Guys what the hell? The bullets take forever to get where they’re going… whatever variable controls bullet speed either remove it or set it to the same value as the M4 and AK. Seriously. Super seriously. It’s noticeable and it sucks major donkey extremity.

4. AK and M4: Need more time to see full effects of this.

So far the AK recoil has changed, definitely. It has much larger recoil and as compared to the M4 and I can see this being a bit of an issue for new players (and old players frankly). If anything needs to change in the short-term it will be the recoil amount. Especially when compared to the M4 which has tiny recoil and is just as accurate as pre-update.

Models look good, but the textures I think are a bit dull and could use a tiny bit of tweaking.

Also, does anyone think the M4 and AK are enormous now? Do they take up more screen real-estate or is it just me?

That’s all for now, if/when I find anything else I’ll update.

Overall I’m glad the update finally happened and I think with a bit of tweaking it will definitely be a positive for CSP.

If possible, I’d love to see a graphic of the hitboxes and the damages each part has for each weapon. That way it would be easier to make suggestions about weapon damage.

I agree with point 1,2 and 3 with 4 ak needs a bit more recoil so does m4. i’m suprised you didn’t mention deagle

deagle acuracy feels a bit lower to me
m4 needs to have atleast 2-2.5 seconds for draw time i feel it takes abit longer
ak needs higher recoil
UMP45 needs to be a 4 shot kill to the body 2 hs shot
deagle should have less fire rate a bit and a bit higher recoil
spas is alright
this are the changes i think the game needs the game in all honesty right now it’s too easy the guns are practicly the same except from some changes of course but the update wasn’t bad at all :)

LOL true hammer was erased i think the deagle had an acuracy nerf i used to be able to pick up hs from far away with it eh maybe i got rusty haven’t played for a while ump is fine as it is though rate of fire should be a bit faster andM4’s should be a bit slower and less recoil and a bit weaker ak needs a bit more of recoile and damage checked it out today too easy to pop hs with it should be 3 shots for normal recoil 4th should start making it a mess also m4 recoil i recomend making it T shaped but these are just sugestions from observations i’ve made during my time with this and other FPS games :)

to be honest the new gun models are pretty good the textures though kinda dropped the ball there but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed might get improved over time :)
