I’m searching a text point-and-click style game about a secret IRC channel and a journalist. I played it 1-2 years ago I guess. As much I remember, here, on Kongregate. The game was kinda short and.

Edit: after even more search, found it: http://www.kongregate.com/games/31eee384/secretnet

The map would zoom out to fit the screen as you explored. After you explored a little bit. you would find these 4 little teleporters, Seziure kind i think. The teleporters would be in a position like 2 on the top, 2 on the bottom. You had to do each of them in an order, 2nd one being an Snowy-Based Place I think.

Small Worlds should match the description. I did not find it on Kongregate though.

A flash strategy game released 1-2-3 years ago. It was strategy, you had to defend 6 regions of Great Britain, there were 2 types of airplanes, firemen, spies and some more stuff. It was a WWII game.

EDIT: Found it, Spitfire 1940

If Hitler had won, you’d be experiencing what USSR has done to Eastern Europe but on a much bigger scale, in a lot worse, and way more radical way.

I like to listen to music while I’m doing stuff on the Internet, be it playing Tyrant, checking my email or on Wikipedia. I enjoy listening to soundtracks of certain as my music, among them, “The Gael” from Last of The Mohicans.

Just for the hell of it I sometimes look at the comments to see what people say about the video I’ve been listening to. Lo and behold when I went to look at the comments on “The Gael” I found a debate raging about Iraq, Afghanistan, Osama, Russia/Communism, America’s power, terrorism, the British Empire and god knows what else.

My question to the users of Kongregate is this: What is the world coming to when this is what we see on something that has nothing to do with modern-day politics? Is there hope for humanity if Osama gets mentioned on something related to Native Americans?

Or, alternatively, should we use a basic intelligence test to qualify people to do things, like comment on a Youtube video?

PS: If Osama gets mentioned out of context I’m gonna flip.

Basic intelligence test? Nah, half of these retards are trolls who’re not that stupid but enjoy acting like stupid (really, there are people like that).

And Youtube comments are the second worst comments on the internet (#1 is 4chan of course). So…

Soul? Really? I think only brain with feelings.

Here is your proof and if you do not accept this as proof, then I do not what you will accept. Plus, the whole video is on youtube.

Quote from the article: “Everybody just worked together and we got him out of there.”. Of course, 3 of the people standing there were god, other 5 were Jesus and the others were the prophets.

Another one: "Doctors said a head injury would made it harder for him to survive. " HARDER. Yep, even with head injury he could’ve survived. Of course, proof to God… I only see proof to professional doctors.

I resent that last statement and if you reread my last post (before the spaghetti monster) multiple people saw the crash.

Why did you bring in Marijuana into a conversation about Religion?

A few people seeing and helping a lucky motorcyclist where the story has no sources, nor important details (helmet, speed, directions, etc.). Really. That totally proves.

That’s to prove that most of the miracles (God appearing, etc.) are fake or occured when the person who saw was not reliable.

Flying spaghetti monster, a parody religion’s God.

But my point is that one person seeing a miracle isn’t enough. I’m pretty sure marijuana users see miracles every day.

I have to bump in here.
No, there isn’t.

For specific gods like Yahweh and Zeus there is, as we can prove that they are not responsible for the things that are attributed to them, like creating storms and creating life. For a deistic god, you would be right. So we cannot prove that there exist no gods, but God, the Christian deity, can be proven to not exist, at least in the way that Christians would describe him.

I disagree. There is evidence of a god. Miracles. Science cannot even explain why miracles happen. If you say that there is no God then you also state that there are no such things as miracles. If miracles exist and that they do, then there has to be a God. That is the only explanation that makes sense. I mean Do you really think everything is random at chance? Seriously?

Miracles, which are only seen by one person and approved by the church. Really?

Topic: Serious Discussion / Moral question about "fair play"

Imagine this situation: there’s a competition which is ongoing for a long time. It’s the Round 1, which is a group round, after it, you go to Final 16/32/whatever. Your place is sure, you already won the first place in your own group. There’s a really good team but for some reason, it’s the first non-advancing team right now. You play against the last advancing team, which is much worse than the other. Is it legal and is it ethical to give up the match?

Hello folks, I’m here to ask you a question, that I haven’t been willing to share for a while. Is God real or not? Is there such thing as good and bad? I demand a explanation. For all a know, a man or woman made it up, then passed it on. I’m not asking for “he died on a cross” I’m wondering, why we believe in such thing.

I personally don’t believe in God, there’s no evidence. But that’s my opinion. But the good-bad thing is sure: there is good and bad, but no naturally good/bad.

Let me start with my own. I use the word communism for the ideology, not the USSR&Eastern Block system. And, due to this, I think it is an ideal, but VERY naive and impossible ideology, and as such no country should try to implement it. And for the dictatorship system: that was really bad and that should be hated.

don t be fooled or trapped by ideologies, comunism capitalism etc etc.. this is a medieval way of thinking.. you know master and slaves. Since the perfect society is far away in the future for now i will stick to capitalism BUT with a lot of laws to fix all its flaws, and restore the currency for what it is.. an easy way to trade not a wall street toy.

Cya.

EDIT:Comunism didn t work cause the people are evil, not for the ideology per se. Capitalism btw is plain wrong lol

Yes, capitalism is wrong but considering that it works by itself – actually the world’d be EVEN MORE capitalist in itself, with no control, communism won’t ever work, because the people are evil everywhere. Also, considering that, only a hard, anti-democratic ruling system could stop the current and perhaps the upcoming socities from being capitalist, and as such, even it is a bad system, it HAS TO stay because noone likes dictatorships (except dictators, of course).

(PS. learn some grammar.)

Topic: Serious Discussion / Importance of History?

History is important. Why?

1. It makes sure that bad things (Hitler, Great Depression) won’t happen.
2. You’ll know more of the world.

However, there are reasons against it. These are:

1. The average people don’t share the same opinion, therefore, even if a minority acts well, they won’t.
2. History has political influences. I am pretty sure that the Romanians don’t teach the same about Trianon (where Hungary lost most of its territories, mostly in favor to Romania) as here, in Hungary the teachers do. As such, you’ll have to view all of the points and you can only get the knowledge in that case, because if you don’t, you’ll be a nationalist maniac who often freaks out how unlucky your country is.

Noone should mention it except perhaps to friends or when the situation requires that. And the Pride is not constructed by anything, it is just existing without reason. (I know they’re fighting for rights, but for me, that is NOT the way.)

I am not against them, unless they go to the Pride or whatever it is called OR they publicly announce it. It is a private matter, noone is interested in it.

Topic: Serious Discussion / World without Religion: Better or Worse?

Religion itself is not bad. Actually it is good to have something to believe and hope in. Also, I note that I use religion as the religion itself, not for the church.

The next part that should be taken to consideration is church. It is also good at it makes the religion belong together, unless it does propaganda. In my opinion, the church should only collect the believers and shouldn’t attempt to find more.

And the even worse part is the offensive religion model. Both Islams, Jews and Christians use this. What do I call offensive? Well, sort of “you don’t believe in our god thus you go to hell” and like that. While this makes popularity, it spreads the hate – the exact opposite of the goal. Another point is for the religious people: while they believe, they must accept that others don’t, and such, they should not use any kind of religion in debates.

And, finally, religion must follow the ages as there are things which were standards years ago but cannot be accepted these days. Not only the church, but the books. And they must accept if they are wrong.

So the conclusion: it would be better without the current forms of church&religion but it may be worse without the mentioned, ideal forms.
