Invisible tiles

Passable tiles (looks normal, but players and monsters can get through)

decaying/disapearing tiles (they disapear after you touch them)

Exploding tiles (disapear after exploding)

Slippery effect option on ice tiles

Slowing down effect no tiles (can be an item that is put over/under the tile)

I dont know if its doable but i thing that diagonal rails would be interesting. (not really needed tho)

Topic: Sandbox Hero / Suggestions!

These were things i thougth while thinking in Phoenix00017 question on how to incentive designers. In my view what the game is lacking the most is gameplay variety. Ultimately there is mainly two goals in the levels: catch coins and reach the goal as fast as possible. So, here are my sugestions:

- Temporary power ups
Things like shield, invincibility, hp recovery, hp regen, 2x damage, ranged attack, super jump, super speed, flight etc.

- Moving platforms
constant movement, event triggered moving blocks (like doors or gates), platforms spammer etc

- More blocks variety
Teleporting/portal, gravity changing, passable blocks (looks normal, but you can walk through them), breakeable blocks, invisible blocks, fluids (water, quicksand, swamps, strong winds etc)

- Interactive objects
Levers, Switches, buttons, chests, boxes, pushing and/or pulling blocks etc.

- More enemy variety and enemy attack patterns

- Limit the numbers of monster you can damage at once

- Rewards for killing monsters
There is a lot of “arena” levels that i simply past by without fighting since there is no reason to me bother myself to kill them. Maybe an little xp reward?

- Quests/Events
Things like gathering, killing, time trials, suviving, defending and others. In order to complete the level you need to finish all the required quests/events.

- Multiplayer

edit And a suicide option, please! That or teleporting back to the last savepoint!

I really have a problem with what people considers the best terramon. In my opinion there is no absolute best terramon, no absolute best team nor any of such things. Each player have his/hers own way of playing and making teams, so there is no monster that can be the very best for all teams/players.

What is your gameplay focused on? What is your battle strategy? High def, high hp (tanking)? High atttack? Inflicting bad status? Lowering status? Raising status? Multiple attacking element?

What i can say is that the common pattern is to look for tanky terramon. Today they are considered the best, since the variation in attack power is not so great, who lives longer tends to win the fight (but remember that this is a beta and that can change).

I had a lvl34 electripine, then i captured a lvl30 electripine. I proceed to release the lvl 34, but when i did it i got one more lvl 30 electripine, staying with 2 lvl30 in the end.

What about hotkeys? Just some examples: space for confirmation, 1 2 3 4 for moves during battle, m for map and so on? I dont think is something essential, but i believe that it can help to make the gameplay more confortable for some players (like me… i dont like to drag the mouse here and there during battles, and I especially hate closing the window after a battle is won)

One thing that im missing in this game is the “dungeons” between two cities. The main reason is to give the player a place where terramon of varied elements (especially water and earth) can train since the lvl gap of grinding areas is too big.

I find it funny and sad the fact that they can use only 4 skills. I dont think they should “forget” those skills, its more realistic if they keep all of them and only be able to bring 4 at a battle. This is not really a sugestion… i just wanted to express my frustration with the dumbness of these monsters (maybe the dumbness of the trainer).

I get what are you saying but in the middle of a battle recovering 20 or 50 in a turn makes a lot of difference, that is usually the reason why is not rare the heal/cost of potions get lower the better the potion. I my opinion Rickmaster’s logic stads if you make a iten usable only outside of battles.

Just correcting my last post… there is tier 3 rings, shoulders and trinkets. However they werent upgraded to tier 4.
