At least concerning the hard badge, it`s not that much luck involved as Necro.

I never lost with my Builders deck, not even final boss. Only exception was the bottom chinese castle, which I defeated in 2 turns with an aggressive deck.

Here are my decks:

Builders:
5 thief
5 recruit
4 guards
5 mage+1
5 pixies
3 magic defense
5 add bricks
5 builder
5 tower
3 tavern
3 house
3 babylon
4 school (maybe too much this one)
2 fence
5 wain
5 all bricks
4 large wall
5 reverse

The aggro one is really simple, just put on every mid dmg thing and hope for luck… It doesn`t seem to need much however, since it worked for me 1st try.

Thank you. This is a tremendous deck. Had made it halfway through Hard, but was banging my head against a wall trying to beat this thing with a balanced deck.

I’ve tried that, and the Fausts kill my cleric and shock wiz. even after all my meat shields are dead and i’ve used multiple revives and health potions on the shock wiz and cleric, none of the spikeys are even dead yet on round 1.

So, I have all my heroes maxed out in xp, all with the best gear and almost all of it refined. I have a heavy stock of revive and extreme potions. All my char abilities and subjobs are smartly set and leveled approrpriately per most recommendations (fire archer with ricochet 2, haste magic up 2 cleric, raging berserker, etc.)

But for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to beat Mystbourne 5 or any level higher than 63. I can’t spam enough potions fast enough to survive, even with maxed chars. Any good tips out there?

Yeah, so I’ve been taking on Stu the last few times I’ve logged in. 12 Stu deaths later killed with pickpocket adventurer, and not a single ruby or diamond. Getting a little annoying.

meh, I don’t if the math has changed or what, but my heroes are all level 30, I routinely grind GD through level 22 using an adventurer with pickpocket to kill bosses, and did that 10 ten times without getting a single ruby. Must’ve killed at least 40 bosses there with an adventurer, and they never dropped a ruby. It’s been annoying lately.

Sorry if this has been covered—semi-noob here. I don’t see any way to move my buildings once they’ve been placed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have a completely maxed out base and 150 outposts. Why the heck would I start over on Facebook with a whopping 500 shiny? Bye bye kixeye, will never play a game of yours again.

it’s pretty simple. Accept the quest. Hunt. When you get to level 3, buy the trenchcoat and the knife. When you see the horse, use your power ups. You should beat the horse at least 33% of the time.

Ok, I’ll try asking this again, got nothing but wise cracks last time…

I stopped playing yesterday at 5PM Eastern. I had around 400mil twigs and pebbles (not sure what putty and goo looked like, but they had more.) I autobank 59 Mil of each of these two resources an hour from my OP’s. I got back online this morning around 11AM Eastern. That’s a full 18 hours later. I had not been attacked, and thus shouldn’t have lost any resources. In 18 hours I should have autobanked about a little bit over 1 billion in Twigs and Pebbles. My resource totals for both this morning were at 600Mil, a gain of only 200Mil in 18 hours. Has anyone else seen this before. Its annoying to say the least, and not the first time it has happened. The first couple times I just figured I didn’t know how much I had left when I stopped playing.

It means on of your OPs have been attacked, yes you have had it answered.

EDIT: Maybe you didn’t have it answered, but the answer I gave you is still the same.

So if one is attacked they ALL stop producing? Wow…yeah, I did get attacked, but it was very minor.
Thanks! If you answered me before, I gave up looking, because of all the wise cracks.

Sad. Very sad.

Application form
Hi, my name is dorestes.
I would like to join your alliance because i’ve run solo until now, but it’s clear that alliances are key. Astronomy rocks, and this looks like one of the more interesting alliances out there right now.
I am level 46. I am on world map.
I hope you accept me!
Thanks,
dorestes

new changes look great. Aggressive, warlike 2,000+ OP players FTL.

I have reached that position with a lot of work, good management, truces, diplomacy, threats, attacks , defence, and a large measure of good luck- in short everything what I think this game is about. Blaming others for their enthusiasm (obsesssion) and willingness to play this game is just sour grapes. I must point out that I did not attack Dorestes – an ally did.

You say that as if 2005 OPs won in large part by attacking defenseless peaceful neighbors is an accomplishment to be proud of—either in-game, or in RL. Last I checked, there are a ton of wild tribes on the map, and many high level players on other maps who got their status honorably.

There is no honor or accomplishment in destroying weaker neighbors who present no threat, in a game that lacks any balance or “skill.” It’s not a “you play the game your way, I’ll play it mine” thing.

When there are no rules to prevent exploitation, all that’s left is an honor system. Some people have it, and some people don’t.

also, my base is completely maxed except for inferno upgrades. Even some level55s haven’t finished their normal base upgrades.

meh, i never put too much consideration into defense because if some level55 with 2bil resources wanted to come after me, base design wouldn’t matter anyway, and if some low level idiot attacked me (which happened from time to time) I could smash them regardless. I could always copy a high level person’s base design. Just never thought it was worth the time to spend an hour meticulously rearranging my base with one-and-a-half corridors for pathing, blah blah blah.

I attack with fomor and daves—but since I rarely attack humans, I actually typically use a drull and a few zafs to hit kozu. In fact, I grew a gorgo to max first just for laughs before putting him in the freezer.

Your obsession with this idea is far fetched. Not enough people agree with you to actually implement the idea.

I assume you’ve done a poll? What you mean is that not enough level50+ players agree. That’s not surprising.

Meh, the point is academic, anyway. Kixeye isn’t likely to implement any changes at all for a long time, anyway, and the game will eventually die on Kongregate. You can’t really keep a player base when a few obsessives are allowed to obliterate everyone else without recourse. Balance is a hard thing to get right for games, and this game doesn’t have it.

No, Des_troyy, this isn’t a shooter or similar skill game. With games that involve actual skill, all competition is welcomed and fair game. Noobs get owned until their skill improves as appropriate But this game is nothing like that.

All bases can be obliterated, some more easily than others. But it never takes more than 4 tries for a decent player to obliterate any but the strongest base. Sure, some people are better at pathing and such, or have a little more finesse in attack strategy. But the difference isn’t big. It’s mostly just time sink (and money, if you buy shiny.) Those who spend a lot of time and shiny get powerful. Those who spend less time and shiny are less so. Becoming level 52 and getting 2000 outposts has nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with being someone who has no life. No skill involved at all. Just a lot of time.

Only losers dedicate the time to take over and maintain 2,000 outposts. And only morally bankrupt losers are so greedy, desperate and pathetic in their real lives that they feel the need to take over 40 outposts from a non-aggressive player on the map.

I get plenty of places in real life. Pretty successful in various areas, actually. That’s sort of the whole point. People who play 20 minutes a day shouldn’t be at the total mercy of no-lifes—and yes, they’re no-lifes—who spend hours and hours a day on the game.

If you spend hours a day on this game, you have no life. If you have over 1000 outposts and you feel the need to steal another 30 from some weaker player, there’s something wrong with your moral compass, and no excuses about “well, that’s the game!” will change that. As for the game, leaving the more casual players at the total mercy of the no lifes is a bad game design. It keeps the most aggressive, least moral, most-compensating-for-sad-personal-lives level50+ types happy, while making everyone else unhappy and leading them to quit.
