the stats on your heroes depends on the amount of soldiers in their armies, and when you die or take damage, an amount of soldiers dies which means your hero gets weaker. so if your hero has low stats, just recruit new soldiers (took me some time to figure it out myself)

thats what i just did. the adventurer with red hair that appears in every city. you also fight her in the tournament in Ch2. also, there’s only one adventurer with the name “Adventurer”
