First. [Review]
I’ve spent quite a long time playing and mastering the mechanics of Minercraft and Terraria. I was hoping that this would revive my interest in the genre. It did not. But hearing that people can have fun with this (it is free, that is a good point), I tend to rest my opinion on the current overall rating of it, which at the time of this writing was ~3½, i.e., entertainable but not impressive.

How can you preserve a GCL instance?
So if I was doing a level, and I wanted to “save” that instance of the level, how would I go about doing that? I tried something with system restores but it was fruitless. My reason for doing this is to make saving checkpoints, because I want to be able to get back to my game should IE crash (which it frequently does >.>).
This has nothing to do with the Save File; it’s to get to a specific point in a game again.

Infinity Glitch
I wouldn’t say this is really a glitch, as initially proposed; it’s more of a flash limitation. The mechanics that are manifest beyond those ranges are interesting, though. Hey, atleast GCL doesn’t crash :).

[GemCraft chapter 0] 10 billion points: made easy!
With the forums being active again, I figure it will useful to the community of people who play Gemcraft: Ch.0 to bump this thread and make this information available again.
I’m only bumping it because I couldn’t seem to get to it from the forum thread list.

[GemCraft chapter 0] 10 billion points: made easy!
I’m back! thank you for reading (and bumping) my guide. (school keeps me pretty busy)
I wish i could make a one-size-fits-all AutoHotkey macro, but that isn’t possible, because everyone’s browser has different bars at the top which make push down the page, and everyone’s screen is at varying resolutions.
@Losthae: Yeah, the AutoHotkey guide is a little dry, but did you really need to add delays? If it’s set up correctly (and the speedhack value imitates the lag you’d be hacing anyway), the macro interrupts the game in progress and does all the performing actions. The speed the macro executes seems to be in directly related to the frames per second that you’re running at. To execute the macro more than once (and super gem more than one palette in one sitting), all I ever had to do was press F9 more than once.
For those using Chrome, I think you have to select a different process than Internet Explorer; look at pages 4 & 5 of this guide for guidance.

[GemCraft chapter 0] 10 billion points: made easy!
I thought I included a footnote in there: FP is “firepower,” or the maximum damage of a gem viewed from a tower or from your palette. When not specified to a single gem, it refers to the sum of all the firepower from the gems on your map.
If you have very difficult monsters on the screen, then you need a mana income supplementary to the mana gained from kills (hence the mana farm elaborately explained in the guide). You can use this mana to create SuperGems that would kill monsters otherwise unable to be killed, like the monsters found on waves well past 100.
EDIT: If you have monsters leak enough times to drain anything upward of 35,000 mana, then you’re playing a dangerous game, because their health increases exponentially. Allowing them to leak too many times, without killing them, means death in endurance with or without mana farms.

Do not make a prismatic anywhere in the beginning. ONLY focus on the mans farm: making a mana farm big enough so that leaking monsters will give you mana via stealing in higher quantities than they take away when they actually leak.
Instead of an initial mana-farming gem of only grade 4, try making it grade 5; use extra gems to anger the waves one or two times (enough for your gem to kill them).
Edit: Ima make a quick video with this new fancy program real fast, see if I can’t get you the idea.

yes, unless you go by the philosophy nothing in life is certain, in which case creating a forum is pointless, because you could beleive that everyone here is just a government conspirator telling you want you want to hear…
IT IS REAL. ITS GOT THE FRIGGIN USDA SEAL.

Is Organic Really Organic? And WARNING one of the posts in the following thread will make you never drink milk again!
What Does the “Organic” Label Really Mean?
Consumers no longer have to play a guessing game when it comes to organic foods. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) now has national standards for the use of the word “organic.” Unlike just a few years ago, consumers buying organic products, whether produced in the United States or imported, can be assured that the foods are produced without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, irradiation or bioengineering. Organic farmers are required to adhere to certain soil and water conservation methods and to rules about the humane treatment of animals.
The USDA now uses private and state agencies to inspect and certify food companies that market organic foods. Small farmers with less than $5,000 in organic sales, such as those selling at small farmers’ markets, are exempt from the certification process but they still must be truthful in their label claims and comply with the new government standards. Individuals or companies who sell or label a product as organic when they know it does not meet USDA standards, can be fined up to $10,000 for each violation.
Currently, organic foods represent a small part of overall grocery sales in the United States, but the market is growing steadily. In 2001, sales of organic foods and beverages exceeded $9 billion. The new regulations are expected to help the organic industry as consumers become more confident in the labeling and as larger corporations enter the organic foods market.
As the new regulations are phased in, it is important to keep in mind that the term “organic” does not necessarily mean “healthier.” The USDA makes no claim that organically produced food is safer or more nutritious than conventionally produced food. Consumers will still need to read nutrition labels and make wise selections to maintain an overall healthy diet. Keep in mind that the words “natural” and “organic” are not interchangeable. Only food labeled “organic” designate that the product meets the new USDA organic standards.

I tried posting the tables in HTML and Textile, but nothing seems to get them to work:
<table><tr><td>row 1, cell 1</td>
<td>row 1, cell 2</td></tr>
<tr><td>row 2, cell 1</td>
<td>row 2, cell 2</td> </tr></table>

4.15M FP (split in four gems)
I summone every wave with 13-14grade stones. (12-14times every wave)
my next question.. -— summoing -- HOW??
Does it have any different bettwen somoing with
1… 13grade gem (two 11combinated then take two 12th and combinated) 2-2=(four gems of 11grade) OR ???
-
Take 11 put into 11 then take 11 put into this 12 then take 11 put into 12 …. (et the end has just 12grade, but stroger then usual 12grade gem) JUST 4 TIMES… means 1+1+1+1
Both way are useing same number of 11grade gems, but combinated different way… This´s my question.
Both way of combinateing gems FOR summoing will have SAME influence for sommoned monsters? (score, armor, HPs)???
Second way is much more interesting, becouse save my time.
I´m using speed hack + Axify mouse recorder.
Is possibe to synchronize game speed with Axify…. aplication set up hounderts of repetition and let FP grow without my checking or doing anything. :) I can go away of computer. :) (I´ll use it over night)
- Q:Did you have enhanced pool (skill)? Because 5,000,000 is actually a lot if you didn’t have it/did you use a shrine.
- Use grade 15s/16s/17s to anger: 15s on regulars, 17s on bosses (it will make them yield a lot of score even if it uses a lot mana). Also, instead of trying to make an even spread of anger, anger boss waves 20x with grade 17s, and anger regular waves with 15s until they have like 5,000,000 health OR if you’ve angered them 20×.
- What are you talking about with the ‘__ into __’ stuff? Does it have anything to do with SuperGemming? The rule is taht you should always use a gem that is atleast 2 grades lower than the SuperGem to increase the damage. So if you wanted to Supergem a grade 12, use a grade 10 or under (but realisticly use grade 6s and under). Adding a grade 11 would only… “screw it up.” If you’re talking about the order that you combine then, then yes, it makes a little bit of a difference, with gems that have 34 compnents. You could have, say, a Red-Yellow-Orange gem, but that would not be quite the same as an Orange-Red-Yellow. Ususally all it effects is the cap of the range and the firing speed; these delimitations can be removed by making it prismatic OR making it Grade 11/12 (Sometimes grade 11 doesn’t work, if it’s a really weird gem.)
- Also, I should note that adding in a gem as a damage increaser is different than adding two gems of the same grade to get a higher-grade “better” gem. Clicking in a signifigantly lower gem to a main gem will increase the main gem’s damage by an amount that is random, slightly based on the color of the gem being added in, and most importantly the grade (higher grade = more damage+, unless it’s unly one grade below the main gem). With all of these variables, it is hard to say what exactly impacted the different amount of damage boosts to your gem.
- For the sync with realtime: Be careful. Please.
- @ your score: Good score, but you honestly will not get much more from this point on unless you begin to get even more firepower. If you double your firepower, and get a boss wave Super-Angered (like described above), you can continue to improve your score throughout the game.
- @summoning:everything is based on grade. Everying. The higher the grade, the more monsters will be summoned, and the other stats will be in your favor per monsters summoned. If you increase the damage/Supergem the gem you are about to sacrifice, then you are wasting your time and mana. [However, higher damage in a gem = higher damage when gembombing.]
As an update to the challenge I was trying, I’m at like wave 35 now and I have 100 billion score. I angered a boss wave that so far will yeild ¾ of a trillion points (14/20 angered so far). I have about 7 million FirePower and still have 2.5k monsters on the field! 1.2 million max mana, like a 60x multiplier. I will try to post screenshots.

if you used AutoHotkey, then there would have been a program called WindowSpy that will tell you what coords your mouse is in the active window (that is what I did). And okay, good to know that atleast you have some progress.

Does it look like I’m trolling? A troll doesn’t make a 2-page guide for the benefit of other people. And do not suggest that I would not reply to my own forum, in no means am I going to have this thread hijacked.
At this point I don’t give a crap what either of us thinks is an acheivment, all I did was create a guide for people to get to the big leagues, the 10 billion points. Your challenge suggestions are not consistant with the information I provided on the guide, they contradict some of the principles that I am trying to manifest; if you want to be a “hack-free,” “skill-only” player, and not take advantage of other technologies, then please leave this thread.
“absurd score,” obtained “ridiculously easy”: Get 1 trillion points, tell me how easy that is. Oh wait, you do not have the respect for the game in its relentless entirety OR the strategies of other people, so I guess that’s not happening.
Hacking the mana pool, enemies’ hitpoints, or any other unnatural modification is not tolerated. However, imitating the effects of lag in a safe way via SpeedHack is accepted; playing the game with the lag anyway, but under dangerous circumstances, is being ignorant (or radical).

I have IE
I’m just at 100% zoom
1280 × 800 resolution
try to get the macro to line up by making your browser window scrolled down just enough, and then make it fatter or skinnier to try to make it work.

Llama: you really should try to set up a mana farm, with all grade 6 Red/Orange gems @ maximum fire rate, before wave 30. When you get that much mana, you will see why we made macros. :)
And if you do happen to get the mana income that I’m getting, or you reach the mana to get 700,000 mana pool, then I would really recommend getting my macro to work.
