a starter is always better, so if you chose firball, dont catch any other fire type, unless you need a replacement or want to fill your dex.so dont catch tsktsk, if you already chose a water starter(crabby).

Nerf Pop Gun
well, if you dodge the pop gun bullets, which shouldn´t be too hard, you can unleash hell, while your opponent reloads.The pop gun only has one bullet, and if your opponent is crazy with accuracy, then try to get some defence and HP, as the pop gun is a bit good, with no stats required to buy it anda good damgage, also being limited edition, it is still one bullet in one magazine and a slow 2.5 second reload.

Gauss OR Barret OR WA2000?
Gauss, as it can fire multiple shots, enough to pwn 5 n00bs, but barret takes about 5 shots, depleting its magazine, with the gauss, you still have 40 bullets left.Still, barret has higher damage and accuracy, but with a trained hand and accuracy, gauss has the same accuracy, as the barret, but with a bit lower chance of headshots.so they are both equal.But I recommend gauss, with its machine gun properties

Questions
darkangelsoul, there is a battle system. You can view it in view and you can attack other NPC charecters in explore. Yes, there are rounds.
Mastric, the attack applies to troops that attack in explore. And defense applies to troops that defend the city or outpost. And it does work in the explore tab, as there is one of the places attack applies.

i did a few mistakes so here are the updates for hermes
kick instead stuns the enemy for 1 turn and costs 30 energy
lightning speed hits a switching foe and 20 proc to increase all attacks damage for 5 turns,also it costs 40 energy
message stuns the enemy for 2 turns or increase its energy by 30,also it does 10 damage
rush also has a chance to disable all enemies natural energy regeneration for 3 turns
