Here’s the Base Info with the Formula the game uses

Tier 1
Base Elemental/Physical Absorb: 10
Physical Damage per level: + 0.3

Tier 2
Base Elemental/Physical Absorb: 20
Physical Damage per level: + 0.4

Tier 3
Base Elemental/Physical Absorb: 30
Physical Damage per level: + 0.5

Tier 4
Base Elemental/Physical Absorb: 40
Physical Damage per level: + 0.6

Tier 5
Base Elemental/Physical Absorb: 45
Physical Damage per level: + 0.6

The formula is : damage = damage * damage/(damage+absorb)

There is a also a + or – 10% random factor

Seven Gens… the same as any T4 as far as I know.

The random wings came from a Female Steed sample I gathered on safari in the Sahara to finish off the process since I seemed to only be able to breed male Steeds :P

I like the sound of steed + raptor. I think I’ll try it. Unless the “good guess” is steed + owlbear, in which case, I’ll try that instead. But steed + owlbear seems like super-inbreeding, because steed is wolf + owlbear.

Well, to get to hydra you go through spider twice, so it’s not totally crazy that it’ll be an owlbear. I’ll be giving it a go this week (I have no eggcells, unfortunately).

I can save you some time and confirm 3 combos it is NOT:

Steed + Spider
Steed + Raptor
Steed + Owlbear

I went 8 gens just to be safe and got a whole lot of nothin’

So much for all those eggcells :P

I have a level 43 steed. I saw a level 52 in coli a couple of days ago, but didn’t recognize the owner. When I find out, I’ll post it both here and on the wiki. I’ll also post a screenshot when I post it here.

let’s tone it down a notch… flame wars are lame and immature.

If I’m honest I find the secrecy a little annoying only because like most folks I’m programmed with a desire for instant gratification. However this is a game and I just don’t care that much.
That being said, I do appreciate ThinkDeep and others who’ve offered help and information to me during my short tenure playing CF.
ThinkDeep is definitely a credit to the community.

Thanks for the fix Cap!
I think there have only been 13 tickets released that I know of and there are 6 per page so for anyone who uses the Copy to Clipboard button to update their profile it’s pretty easy to figure out how many tickets you have and update it manually till code can be sorted out properly.

EDIT: Tickets has been renamed Awards and now includes the Medals for completed groups of badges… so a total of 15 are currently available now.

I also just noticed that my Points to Next Level is showing that I need 5 less points than the Kongregate Points Page says I need.

I have a couple of questions.

1: Why, when choosing the badges sorting view “Hidden By Game” does the sorting bounce up to “Achieved By Date”.

2: If I did choose to hide a game by clicking the “X” I’m assuming I could unhide it by choosing the “Hidden By Game” sorting, correct? (note: I’ve not tested this since I’m not sure I would be able to access that list view)

3: Over the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed that when Greg releases badges the Sidebar will sometimes not update all the badges for that game. Currently I’m experiencing this issue with “This is the Only Level” Hard Badge. I’ve CTRL + Refresh and I’ve cleared my browser cache and other sundry things in an attempt to coax the Sidebar into picking up the badge info but so far I’ve not been able to. Has anyone else had this sort of problem?

I also noticed that after an update several dots ago that the Slim Mode badge graphics are larger than they were. Was that intentional? It’s not a big deal, I was more just curious.

@CaptainCaveman: This_Username had tried to log on with a banned account and then with the current username. Something about him switching the accounts corrupted the sqlite database. I walked him through finding and deleting the corrupted database and after he restarted FF he was good to go.

Since yesterday sometime I noticed that the sidebar won’t update. The little wheel up top just keeps spinning and spinning.
Any ideas?
Using version 1.4.6.1 and Firefox 3.0.11

Topic: Kongregate / Tech Help: Resources and info on chat update

Over the last 2 days or so whenever I click on a new game the chat window defaults to the Game Tab. Is this supposed to happen? I don’t really care for it personally but perhaps it’s intentional…
Also, perhaps a fix for this is in the works but whenever I view scores via the score tab the it defaults Highscore or Kills or whatever to the “Last 7 Days” option. If I then click Friends and then change the Score I want to view it changes back the “Last 7 Days” tab. Under the old chat I could remain in whatever view I wanted but now it won’t remember and stay put. Hope that also gets fixed sooner rather than later…
