The most recent update makes the game impossible to play on iPhone 6 Plus iOS 8.4. Pink graphics block the view of characters. Please update soon. I’ve paid money for this game and hope to further my progress.

The next update will be submitted tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Kev,

Will the rewards for Wizard Tower NM dungeon be altered back to what its meant to be with the update?
Also, should we expect it to be released Wednesday or Thursday?

Yeah, rewards will be changed back.
Haha, no. Apple takes about 2 or 3 weeks these days to approve updates due to high volume.

Well that sucks donkey balls Kev!!!
Looking forward =)

Topic: Lionheart Tactics: Feedback and Problems / Wizard tower night mirror reward?

There needs to be a bit of a change with NM rewards, especially for Wizard Tower.

A Basic Elite Hero as reward for completing the entire dungeon seems really poor. It should definitely be a NM Dungeon Stone, like it is with SFB and CW dungeons. Or a Rare Hero, which I assume gives the possibility of a Mythic one too.

Topic: Lionheart Tactics: General / runebinder

Personally, I think its good to have both a novice and a rookie runebinder.

R Rb is useful when you just need the stones to build GB. If the Rb dies, you only have a 15 minute cooldown

N Rb is useful when you need the GB stone to freeze an area. There will be times when this is required, although as you get more powerful, the need for it gradually reduces. I have had to use this on occasion, especially the times before I had a powerful enough wizard to complete Temple of the Bear God dungeons.

I do have a C Rb, an N Rb and a few R Rbs, and I do use the lower class ones more often than the C class. But, I don’t regret promoting to C class.

Pleasure. Hope it goes well.
As MC said above, it is quite straightforward so long as one has an L sniper.

The only problem is remembering the team from week to week! So that’s why I’ve started recording my team.

What rank is your sniper?

I literally just finished it using L Sniper / Pal / Dancer x2 combo and the only damage I took was from the shardlock at the back to my Sniper (3500 ish). I probably could have gotten away with 0 damage if I was a bit more patient.

In simplest sense, you need to take out all the units before the mirror lord can get to you. So its a case of strategically positioning your units so that:
1 – your paladin is near your sniper for bonus damage
2 – your sniper is able to attack 3x a turn every turn (almost)
3 – your units are out of the Mirror Lord’s range (i.e. outside of its orange zone).

You will probably have to have an L sniper to finish this using my set up.

Hope that helps.

For comparison, my sniper has:
4275 hp
2186 attack
350 defence
2276 skill
364 magic

Edit:

I managed to complete all of the dungeons in FHC NM mode using the same combination of:
Sniper / Pal / Dancer x2.

In Dungeon 12, I took damage to my sniper and in Dungeon 13, I lost both dancers.
Other than that, no unit was hit. Maybe I had one Dancer dodge once.

Topic: Lionheart Tactics: Heroes / Which heroes are worth keeping multiple copies of?

Support heroes are the ones worth keeping duplicates, because they will be the ones that you sacrifice in the event that you need to.

These include:
Dancers (personally, the most important as they die easily but are essential in most battles)
Runebinders
Paladins (normal, not Unicorn)
Sages

You don’t really need duplicates of any other unit. I personally wouldn’t promote extra snipers or halbs etc … as they require King Stones, which you will discover are a rarity for most. Stick to one of each and keep them alive!

Whilst I have several duplicated heroes, the only ones I use many of are the ones I listed above. I have around a dozen dancers for example.
Paladins, you’ll need a maximum of 4 of, but you may want some extra spares. However, its unlikely you’ll need to use so many.

It does.
Either reflect was only meant to apply to magic damage, or its bugged.

Lets hope its the former!

Thanks Lotak I will try this but I fear the Lich will rape the halb.

That’s what I thought, but it did surprisingly low damage. By low, I think 500-1000. with its hellfire? skill. The 50% damage reduction passive skill might have kicked in, I’m not sure.
But, like I said, it might be possible to replace it with an assassin or another short ranged unit that won’t get counter attacked. Halb has 3030 hp and 88 magic defence.

From next week, I’m going to keep a log of what units I use to complete the NM mode dungeons.

Right now I have:

WT
Floor 9 – Sniper / Pal / Dancer / Halb
Floor 10 – Sniper / Pal / Dancer / Assassin
Floor 11 – Sniper / Pal / Dancer / Assassin
Floor 12 – Sniper / Pal / Pal / Wizard

Sniper and Wizard are L, rest are C.

Managed to do WT Floor 9 (the one with the 3 banshees, 2 Liches and a Priest).
Did it with
L Sniper
C Dancer / Halb / Pal

Turn 1

Pal uses skill on Sniper who hits priest and uses skill on Chosen Banshee (kill banshee)
Halb does nothing

Priest will heal itself

Turn 2

Kill priest with sniper (need a bit of luck with crits)
Take down one of the liches using halb boosted by pal proximity.
Use sniper with pal in strategically placed position to take down one of the other banshees

Other lich will use skill on your units. None will die. Banshee will target the dancer I think. My dancer dodged, not sure what damage caused if hit

Turn 3
Use sniper to take down banshee.
Use Pal / Halb to slowly take down other lich. This lich will counter attack a few times. With a bit of luck, no unit will die.

All my units were fully boosted, with the exception of hp. Halb and Pal have around 3k hp.

Edit:
I’m wondering if it would be possible to replace the halb with an assassin or another short ranged unit. This would prevent lich from counterattacking. Might try this next week.

For the final 3 dungeons of CW, NM mode, I use Sniper, Pal and 2x Dancer combo.
At the very worst, one or two of the dancers are sacrificed. Gotta take out the squishy sapper / slinger units first and keep out of range of the jackals and manhunters. Rest of jackals and manhunters have to be taken out, followed by the slow beast units.

It does require a bit of luck with not missing any hits, but I did it just now with pretty good success.

2x stone drop rate?

That would be interesting… if all stones had 2x drop rate the total drop rate would be … 200%? So essentially a +3 stone event, right? :-)

Actually if we just can ask random and illogic things, i’d gently ask melvin for a dragoon dungeon rewarded with a pd

He probably meant a 2x drop rate for rare stones, i.e. King, Spirit or Star!

Pretty please can we have a 2x boosting event? I’ve got 9 units that need boosting and 9 M Fox Thieves + 13 C Guardians to use as boosting units.

Don’t let Kevin fool you, it’s gonna be a free N priest event.

That would be a great follow up to my sweet E priest and eks from crypt hard mode

I am hoping for a 2x boosting event (which he did say would happen last weekend), as have loads of heroes to boost.
I also need to know as have a poisoner waiting to do 5 day skill training, so am putting it off until Kev confirms. If 2x, will have to wait till after weekend to train

Hey Kev,

Could you give us an indication on what event will be this weekend?
2x boost?
+1 stone?

etc …

Cheers Kev =)

What I’m having difficulty with is the 9th floor of crypt warrens in Nightmirror mode, as there are 3 Big-Bombers and an archer that can all reach me the first turn.

I think I got close to winning it once with an RB, a dancer, a sniper, and a paladin, but even if the berserker archer isn’t in berserk mode yet, it can kill my RB with over 2000 hp from full (if it shoots 2 arrows in 1 turn, which, of course it does)…and if it is in berserk mode (which seems determined by % hp left), it straight up does 3k-4k.

Memory serves me, you need to take down as many units as you can as quickly as possible.
I used a Sniper / Pal / 2x Dancer combo. The pal was needed for the bonus damage. Took down the archers. Gotta make sure to stay out of range, and if necessary, use a dancer as a sacrificial lamb.

The first time I did that level, I hit the archer with my sniper and it counterattacked with 2x 3k hits, destroying my sniper. That was a harsh lesson!

I have managed to complete NM mode in all 4 dungeons using a combination of:
Sniper
Pal
Dancer
Halb
RB
Blue Wizard

My main team is Sniper / Pal / Dancer x2.

Sniper and Blue Wiz are L, Pal and Halb are C and RB / Dancer are low ranked.

There’s some damage, but am able to beat all 4 dungeons relatively comfortably. Some require a bit of trial and error, others require a bit of luck (with crits) and some require specific moves, e.g. RB placing stones in FHC latter dungeons.

Oh … Its anti-ranged.
That explains it.
Shoot.

anti-ranged protect archer only.

I use gun or dragoon skill instead.

I don’t have a powerful Rouge (only just got it to C rank with all skills), but low level and not boosted.
I only just got my first Dragoon and promoting it to C rank, but will need a month of training skills.
Hmmm …

As above.

My sniper deals 0 damage to sappers, but sappers receive damage from other units.
The sapper does not have a passive skill that prevents damage from snipers.

Is this a bug or is the skill simply not shown?

3 “rare” craft materials
R Fox Thief
Nexus Gem
