Seems that using the card abbreviations for structures is not working.
Within cardabbrs.txt I have: LC: Lightning Cannon

Typing in LC into TUO works. Typing in Lighting Cannon-3 works. But LC-3 returns an error. (Same for all fortresses)

This is not about liking to collect things or not, its about: what’s the point of having a limit if almost everyone can and does break it?

Remove the limit, enforce it, or just increase it dramatically.

What’s the point of having a maximum SP and maximum deck size (including options to buy more) when I see players spending the majority of their time in TU above that? Should be a use it or lose it approach. Got more than your maximum cards: you got 6? hours to salvage or fuse some.

Shouldn’t be able to hoard 1000+ cards and 5000 SP, that makes no sense.

Just proving a point that a small 15% drop in win rate of 1 battle gives a huge drop in total win rate. Thats assuming 0 card deaths.

My 50-80% splatter of win rates gets me around 2.8% win rate, assuming no card losses on Medium difficulty. And I’m in top 3500 in brawl, raid level 20 deck setup. And that’s medium difficulty. I assume medium is made to be won by top 2000, and Hard by top 250

The problem with campaign is very obvious to even the simplest of people if you just look at the math.

95% win rate for 1 battle = good
95% win rate for each battle with 7 battles = 69.8% win rate = meh, not horrible

80% win rate for 1 battle = okay
80% win rate for each battle with 7 battles = 20.9% win rate = why bother?

Not true. In previous spoilers, Lucifire was revealed. Or when Basilisk Emerged was revealed. And never the epic rewards which benefit SOOO many more people.

Whats the point of making a commander with Evolve? Might as well give each of his cards Refresh and make it easier. Also, whats the point of Evolve on the structure if the commander is already evolving leech into Refresh?

A problem with the 3 tier campaign design is that if you have a low probability chance at the final deck within a specific tier, there is no point in even attempting the tier at all. Many found that they have ~5% win chance against Tier 2 final deck (assuming no cards are lost, unrealistic) and didn’t even attempt it. The difficulty of the decks within each tier shouldn’t be linear. Perhaps a harder deck should lead the way, or a weak one finish since the player will have only have slim pickings by then. Finally, if you are to keep the 200 energy requirement, some gold reward for each win(s) within the tier, if you don’t complete it, should be increased or made obvious. Right now, a loss at one of the attempts results in lost potential gold from doing anything else.

The amount of sims that go into doing every single campaign tier attempt is insane. Not prohibitive but not easy either. Make it worth our time somehow.

I don’t want to criticize accuracy but can anyone else confirm these decks? I went from 97% win rate on Easy level 7 (assuming no cards lost) to around 2% win rate on Medium level 7 (assuming no cards lost). That’s a huge jump. And my deck ranks around 3000 in brawl (just for strength comparison). Synap scaling issue?

Quick economics lesson….
Say there are 10,000 players of which 2000 pay money (whales-boxes/cache and/or freemium-daily deals/faction packs) and 8000 who dont pay a penny.
The devs get the money they want from the 2000. So if the 8000 ftp players left the game right now, there would still be the 2000 paying players and therefore the same money for the devs.

The argument about ‘without ftp there would be no whales’ is rubbish.
Ftp is the hook. Its that simple. Its there to attract players to the game. You will then always get a certain proportion that turn into whales, a proportion that turn into freemium and a proportion that remain ftp.

Thats how it works. So the devs do not actually require anyone to remain ftp. They only need to get you onto TU. Thats all ftp is there for.

You could not be more wrong. The reason people pay $100 for a chance at a computer graphic in the form of a card is because that card would be super OP compared to what is currently available. Otherwise, there is no need to pay for it. If you get rid of the F2P player base, the player base drops significantly, thus making it a pissing contest between who is willing to spend more money to stay on top. The reason the huge whales probably throw money into this game is to show dominance over everyone else. Being rank 50 out of 50000 is impressive. Being rank 50 out of 2000 is not as much.
