The L7 story:
I joined this game when i spotted it on the featured home page on Kong. Played around with it and got up to level 10 so i could make a guild, and not knowing only lvl 10s could join or the fact that i would actually stay and build a legacy in the game i went with the name: Level 7 and over. (LoL) I remember Urchin, Force, Spyke and Copey were the originals that were cool and active as i began to be. I made the guild the day before S2 got released and obviously we were weak compared to the dominating guilds (Agency, Fist, FIC, ISS) but because we gathered such a good team-base, we started beating guilds that had stronger members than us by using activity and teamwork. That was when it took 3 of us to take a lvl 4 tile :D As death said , that was probably the prime of the game mid Season 2, it was fun and kept us occupied for hours on end defending and attacking territories. By the end of season 2 we were one of the top guilds, Me Superporn, Razor and Urchin were an unstoppable team at that point. but a lot of people underestimated us. So when S3 kicked off, we started with a bang and immediately went straight in the lead and held it for awhile until agency took it. And so began the rivalry :P One of the best days was when everyone came together and took every single fort and including the bastion from agency (started by cough me and L7) L Se7en became the top guild and had some of the top players in the game. Had some epic battles defending my base against Geurilla, Rck, Meme, Manaco, Alex, Dowik ect. By mid S3 it all started going downhill for the game, the devs could have fixed it and kept it alive back then and it would have been thriving but they neglected it and it eventually came to its inevitable downfall.
So for all the cool people I and all L7 members have met throughout this game, it was good and I was glad I was part of such a friendly and active community. Peace :)

I log back on just to find the game is ending, can’t say it is shocking because it was inevitable for the past year. This game originally had one of the best communities and was one of the first flash games i actually got properly involved in. Thanks guys. (L7 will live on) lol :P

Thats around 95 days to get to level 20 if there isnt any bugs or you dont lose.
Why dont you put a 7 day cap on the cooldown or change the increase in cooldown.it was frustrating enough with archanid raid when it bugged multiple times for me and had to waste a lot of time.
i feel like You are restricting players from doing this content, its fun to do raid beyond the reward levels just to compete with others in the leader boards but the cooldowns are a huge let down.Make the cooldowns separate for all raids and reduce it at higher level and maybe give a small amount of honor for each win as an incentive to do it beyond the reward level.

I suggested reducing raid cooldown times a LONG TIME AGO and stated they should never go past 7 days…i never play this more than 5 minutes anymore, its poop.

Thats exactly what i have been warning people about, i would have done 31 or 32 easy if i wasnt range bugged…i have noticed it since back in tile conquest! :P You notice it with keris.

If you’re going to make a thread about beating gunjack, include the early levels as well. up to 15, no one really needs help, but at 15, many need a idea or two that aren’t just “upgrade upgrade upgrade”.

Attack from the farms, if you attack from the wells, you could endup attacking the HoH, if i remember right.

you don’t need level 10 colette, level 10 jacks help a great deal.

Leadership (+10 army) is pretty much a must have for gunjack 25.
I did it with leadership and +25% damage.

you don’t need trumpet. I used spiders.

if you are going to suggest using prowess, be sure to remind people that it cancels trumpet.

Hardened armor is a passive, you use it wether you want to or not.

Stunning is actually a good tactic for locke and the gunjacks.

SPOILER> go to raid, start gunjack, then wait 10 minutes. don’t attack, just wait for 10 minutes.
Then attack. If done correctly, there will be no locke or gunjacks.

In short, as usual, WLK, you are dumb.

How did you find that out about the non-spawning locke + gunjacks? And if thats correct, how are you not top of the list in raid then? :D

on a side note…i had some of the worst lag/bugs i have had in a very long time,
was using kabal and could not use any skills whatsoever…and this wasnt just for 1 attack, it took me 4 attacks to take the asset all of which without using one skill.

I dunno if this another pointless post but if there is anyone in the ghost town dev department these are some of the BUGS and other things this “game” needs fixing:
1: The spawn glitch on summoning spiders or zuggs is bugged, it takes about 3-4 tries sometimes to spawn them and in that meantime you’re dying.
2: Many heroes skills are bugged especially melee skills e.g. bludgeon, puncture ect. (bugged as in they dont work a lot of the time)
3: Airships need a 25% health and attack buff.
4: On far too many occasions i have noticed towers killing you way outside their range…me and someone else even researched this and proved it happens all the time and could replicate it easily, e.g. isunda can attack a lvl 6 bunker normally and be outside its range, then use MS and step back- outside range even more, and even use SB and be even more outside range…and still keep getting attacked! It shows health going down, but the tower attack animation does not show until you go back into the “shown” range of the tower.
5: Raid cooldowns are way too long…as aforementioned should never extend passed 7 days!
6: Moonwalking is Still plaguing this game.
7: Cit moving can still be used, if timed right it can catch anyone, it needs to be shown instantly, or make it so that no buildings could be moved in the duration of an attack phase (time between somebodies attack and base repair)
8: (Direct quote from Corrupt) “Seeing as our units take 3 to 5 seconds to respond (E.G Movement/Damage on buildings), it’s getting very annoying. Particularly when units like Voguls and Gunjacks target a building, yet move straight to another building whilst the game shows the unit hitting a DIFFERENT building to the one they are actually targeting on.”
9: Keris is still a problem…the best solution to keris rushing as proposed many times and easily done, is You cannot get any res until the cit is taken so no matter if they take all your silos in an attack, they cant take the res until they take down your cit! Its as simple and effective as that.

Those are the bugs and necessary changes this game needs, but as regards making this game better and bringing it back to life it needs
- A daily challenge
- A guild challenge
- More customization
- Smoother gameplay
- Some more new appearence changes in menus/layouts
- More Daily/Weekly new content
- Conquest- One week of Tiles, the next of World map and so on…
-A dev team willing to listen and tell the community the truth about matters and take feedback to make the game better.

—Or else you can continue to do none of these things and kill the game as it already has been dying slowly but surely.

the games not still alive unfortunately, its in a coma right now and its remainder users are just about drained and bored at how most suggestions from a helpful community ones that could easily be done in a hour or two, if you guys sat down and did them…but nothing, so in the words of Shakespeare: “Nothing comes from nothing” ;)

and @manaco i completely agree, i have been asking for daily/weekly events for a long time, and also guild event/wars….since they are working pretty much full time on tyrant, maybe they should give us the game to change the very easy things that are wrong with the game.

Yeah, bad choice to make Airships a 4 burst radius again, so an Attack/HP Buff is only necessary. They are weak compared to Gyrocopters and Mages.

plus if they bring back 4 burst we will have to change our layouts again and that would suck, just give them attack and health buffs.

x2 gyros are far better than 1 airship even with the burst…but thanks! :)

I can see the devs nerfing gyros, rather than buff airships =P
gyros are nasty things to fight.

I’d go for airships taking 3 units instead of 4.

airships being 3 units might make them very usable again :P like the old days when they dominated..but more health and attack seems to be the best buff.

First and fore-most the tile-set and castor update is decent and nobody would complain about that so thank you.
And since now surely all those updates on tyrant are done now, you have some time to work on Skyshard which has been severely neglected.
1: I think the most important thing this game needs is some kind of daily challenge. We saw glimpses of what Deno posted as to what this could be like. You can have rather a solo one, or most importantly a guild challenge! This would mean that everybody would get prizes and people can get stronger and not just the OPs :P
2: I think its pretty unanimous that people want Tile Conquest over World Map…i know you guys are “trying” to innovate a new system and that is perfectly ok, a very good suggestion (WLK i think) that you do one week of tiles and the next world map! That sounds perfectly reasonable :D
3: We need to be offered some sort of customizability (<-new word). As previously suggested you can create a building like a lab or university that you can use to create amazing new things. Lower tiers would have res, kiits, ori cores ect. And higher tiers would have new buffs, cloudcores, rare contract units e.g. ice mages, steamtanks, and an expensive but worth it customizable trait where you can change the color of a unit to a color of your choice! and most importantly the forthcoming ORBS!!
4: BUGS/FIXES – Please fix the spawn bug!! It happens in 1 out of every 3 attempts to spawn spiders or even zuggs, its so annoying.
Airships need buffing, 25% attack and health (as corrupt0 suggested) because it makes no sense that gyros have more health!
5: Reduce the cooldown timers on raids…lvl 18/19 takes like 15 days! thats so stupid especially if you fail it because of the bugs in the game!
On a side note, as bah suggested, you could make Gasket cost 45 stones and 1500 honor since there are lots of new heroes.
EDIT – 6: We need a hero that can target Keris…as another previous suggestion, make Isunda able to target him while using MS!!
OR EVEN BETTER!: 7: MAKE IT SO THAT PLAYERS DONT GET THE RES FROM SILOS UNTIL THEY TAKE THE CIT.
- We also wouldn’t complain if us loyal players got some stones or honor as a thank you from the Skyshard Devs ;)

Yeah that would be pretty good, that is kinda what we are asking for, only difference is it would be much better that it was made into a daily challenge that has to be completed by the guild to get a prize when done, instead of the raid, this way you can do it everyday (giving you something to do in this game) and it takes your guild and teamwork to do it!

Il tell you what the most effective attacking techniques are…
2 attack bases –
First attack: 15 gyros or 13 gyros and an airship with colette + spiders.
Second attack: 30 gunjacks + jorund + trumpet or 2 rivets + 24 jacks or 7 voguls and 2 jacks.
1 attack bases -
Colette + 2 rivets and 24 jacks + spiders = Best technique.
Colette + 15 gyros + spiders = great technique, little chance of losses.
All in all colette and jorund seem to be the most effective attacking heroes imo, kabal is good too, but if there is a defender he dosent have a chance.
P.S. alaric sucks :P

CHALLENGE-defend against a horde of 10 voguls against your base!
LIMIT-you cannot defend with a ranged hero and area attacks of chosen hero will be limited to one time usage.
and your bunkers will be disabled(wont attack) during this raid
TIME SPECIFIC-3 mins(vogul horde should be destroyed within the set time to win)
ALLOWANCE-you are allowed to change the layout for 10 secs before raid starts(the site of deployment of voguls on your map will be highlighted)
REWARDS-can either be minor honor reward/skystones or cloudstones or skycores for hard ones/special prizes,etc(you get my idea??)

TYPE:-ATTACK MISSION
CHALLENGE:-mirror image of your base with no shield gens,archer towers plus rest of the non defence buidings and remaining towers get additional 25% boost to attack and hp(citadel will always be in center/near center and remaining towers surrounding it and yea base arrangement wont be mirrored just your defence towers so if you have unupgraded defences you get lesser reward for lower difficulty)
LIMIT:-healing heroes and healing/invisible relics are not allowed and only 20 pop troops allowed plus no troop units above 1550 hp allowed and no troops with burst damage allowed and keris is also banned
TIME SPECIFIC-2 mins plus 30 secs and entire town should be destroyed
ALLOWANCE-you are allowed to use two attacks if necessary(second attack will receive 75% penaltity to damage of your troops and hero)
REWARDS-same as above plus they should vary according to the difficulty

note-the daily rewards are based on player lvl thus in first defend mission the voguls lvl depends upon the players lvl and same can be said for second example for attack mission thus making it balanced for all players and daily challenge provides more rewards for higher lvl players and special rewards for frequent players and you can add dozen creative challenges like proving only AI depended 10 rangers/other units depending upon player lvl and selective hero to go out on an attack mission,etc or mirror image of all heroes you own together attacking your base and your base defences get 100% boosted in damage(if you have higher lvl/number of heroes the rewards will be even higher and if your defences are under upgraded and if you still win then you get higher reward bonus),etc.so you get my idea for this daily challenge system,along with the daily reward system this will promote greater activity and higher input of newer players.thus every one will benefit without you giving out too much advantage.and personally i got an option for daily rewards,instead of being just choose your treasure chest(most of it gives only mere rewards which leading many to believe the system is rigged) let the game choose it for you,higher active players receive more rewards so starting from day 1 the rewards get doubled on next cycle and get maxed on third cycle and then revert back to first.

say you get 20 min timer(remove the F***** 5 min timer cause its for free now) and on second get 50 honor so on next cycle you get 1 hour timer and 100 honor and on next cycle you get 3 hour timer and 150 honor and this again reverts back(you got it)

wow dude that second example is impossible, how can you take your own base in 2 minutes without using heal or anything…

And also your second suggestion sounds pretty good, its kinda similar to what i suggested, but all in all just asking for a daily challenge for something to do in this game..
Atm Game of Thrones seems better purely because of the extensive content they have, and i think skyshard should take a lot of things from GoT to make it better and also GoT could learn from skyshard, because SH has much better guild/team layouts and chat systems, but they are not utilized enough as they should :/

Agreed, you can use Kong as a free testing service for your stuff finished or un-finished, we can easily give ideas and feedback to make them better without major hassle, i have no problem with this…just prefer to be kept in the loop a little and not hung out to dry.

Edit: What if Tile Conquest occurs at the SAME TIME as World Conquest, but Tile Conquest instead require energy??? After clearing campaign, there is absolutely no reason, at all, to spend your energy. (Yes, you can farm, but nothing more). Attacking a tile requires 20 energy. (that’s one attack every 20 minutes, exactly like attacks) DO IT. DO IT OR I SWEAR I WILL QUIT. (I won’t, but yeah.)

pretty much agree with the majority of this!
I think tile conquest should be added as a down-time thing so there is something to do in the game, whether it be solo or guild it dosent matter it’s just to humor the masses.
– I suggested an event type thing where you spend energy to attack it and build up a meter and eventually once the meter hits the top you get a prize which you choose from 3 boxes(like daily prize). Some of these prizes would be resources/buffs and even cloud cores. But not just that there should be some new prizes such as buffs that make for free and instant unit repairs for a length of time so you can attack people and not worry about unit loss, this would kick-start PvP bigtime! :D
