Make pages on each unit, and add some things that were not easily gleaned from the quick notes in the battlefield. Among them, have a relative speed indicator that shows how fast the troops move, a small backstory, stats at next upgrade, amount of times used/summoned, and more.
Be able to autosummon your troops by holding down the summon button akin to arrows, but have a long cooldown period with a long summon cooldown if this happens.
Have some fast/mildly strong units, like superhobbits.
Be able to have upgradeable constructs, like the trap can get wider/stronger.
Also, have some terrain in some levels like a bridge over a cliff, and you can throw enemies off it with the fire arrow/angel/new troops.
