No no, the claim is that is not possible to skip Essex, when u get into a battle you are not skipping, by skip i meant not having to battle.

Btw, if you take as reference neutral cities and you count the links on every side you will see that bright Side has 14 links while dark side has 15 links… so maybe bright side lacks the link needed for dark to skip essex ^^

Now that you are into looking for racism into FvF, you can check 2 bad designs in the map:

Bright can’t go to Cornwall unless they finish Wessex or Gwent, while dark can skip all the NPC to dyfed. This is not too decisive to the battle, but the next it is.

Bright can skip Strathclyde going from East Anglia to Northumbria→Gwynedd and Cumbria, while dark can’t skip Essex. How that effect the game? a lot: Bright has 2 Cities to defend in, while dark only 1, so if they decide to “turtle” there is no way that dark can pass, as Essex and Kent are linked eachother with Bright Stronghold too, so dark has to pass Essex first, then Kent and finally attack arthur.

And Btw, that stuff about weather… it is really random..

@BossHogg88 thank you for pointing out the formula and explaining it so well :D

What i can’t understand is why a lvl 100 would complain vs a lvl 80, because if battles are not depending on talent wards, a lvl 100 will always have a lot better heroes (at least if he didn’t do it horrible untill level 100, which is really rare after 8 M prestige farming xD ), probably better cards, better dragon, better scrolls and better tech.

So, in my opinion, top players will have a huge advantatge now. Before, having a lot more attack/armor/stamina, scrolls and cards, if my team had a little less speed than my enemy (an enemy who focused on getting a lot speed) i would lose on CoD battles as you said. Now, only who is balanced with me has a chance to win me with better card strategy, formation or weather.

Anyway, if all this was expected to nerf Talent wars (or basically CoD) i already said that is really good. But then, i would fix the randomness of skill 5 and 6 because then, on battles between balanced top players, a 0(buff5) – 4(buff6) will break all the fun part and i think that a balance shouldn’t depend so much on luck.

After testing all the Mystic Buffs and trying to see how it is applied, i found that there is a huge imbalance and i will explain you why:

The problem is mainly on buffs 5 and 6.

lets say that i have 0-4 vs a 2-2 (first being increase on ep and second reduction on ep).

if both CoDs have 200 ep and we are really balanced, the reduction will turn it into a really not balanced battles.

lets do maths: His Cod will dmg me for: 200*0.8= 160 => 200-160 = 40 *1.4 (he has 2 ep power increase) = 56.

And my Cod will dmg him for: 200*0.4= 80 => 200-80 => 120 (i have no ep power increase).

Now if we used HoG:

lets do the same as before, i have 0-4 vs a 2-2. 150*0.8 = 120. 150-120 = 30 * 1.4 = 42 (what he will heal). And i will heal 150*0.4 = 60 => 150-60 = 90. So he will heal 42 and me 90.

So if we Compare Battles, i will always have the adv in every type of battles.

CoD vs CoD, CoD vs HoG, HoG vs CoD and HoG vs HoG.

So, what we can see now is that while balanced battles between top players were mainly based on who attacked first and CoD lvl (ye, too boring) while trying to balance it, it turned into a not balanced battle.

Avg players who could do something vs top player, have no chance to win a Top player with that huge CoD reduction and when it comes to HoG battles, the top will always win (as HoG battles depend on attack/armor/cards).

In conclusion, while adding this reduction skill is really good and it makes top players not depend too much on CoD, the Gap between top and avg is longer, so i suggest you to max the lvl on ep Power to 2 and reduction to 2, like the other buffs. It will make top battles have CoD Nerfed (all battles will be a 168 ep CoD instead 200) and won’t make the gap between avg and top too long.

Is the 2nd phase of grail really fixed or will happen like in the last ultimate explore? not to be arrogant or anything, but is not fun when u are 10 days struggling to see losing part getting rich with 0 effort.

@Vandiego why top players can’t get more prestige? i agree that lvl 3 isn’t too low coz it is for lvl 80-90 players imo. They just have to add a lvl IV (for lvl 100 and better prestige) so everybody will be happy :D

Topic: Castlot / Suggestions for Castlot

I liked the ideas of airesito.

I will suggest some more:

- One of the quest that i’ve enjoyed the most is Ultimate explore, but it can be done only once and ends at Avalon. I suggest to add more “lvls” on Maze and Dungeon. Also restart the lvls in every event. As the rewards are so cool and it could be imbalanced at high lvl, when you have completed all the levels once, the next time you get little less rewarded (or only jewels/badges/medals) and maybe a good reward in the last guy. Also, would be nice making medals drop on instance (and not only levying), so more people could get medals and we could bring some fun on instances.

- In the game description you can read a game of Scheme, etc. But tbh i’ve only used schemes at the start of the game(quest). Schemes could be cool, but they are too difficult to get, you could remove the free token (is not worth at all) of excalibur and maybe some duplicated resource and put some scheme like goblins and boxes.

- World Map activity could be improved. In a PVP game you wanna test your army, no matter if are players or NPC. As the NPC part in this game is too poor, we end siezing players ( we can’t do it anymore though). Recently i’ve been robbing many famous cities just to see if the LVL of the NPC means anything, and well… only in troops number, but is no challenge at all. As you did with our castles, you could add cities with different looks and difficulty, and some better reward than just resources and 20 prestige. Maybe adding some Siezable NPC castle that gives some bonus(like 5% attack or defense or exp/prestige gain) during 24h (and restart again every day) so those cities don’t end always siezed by the same person.

- I’ve spent all my trumpets and i can’t comuniate anymore with brighties and i have no way to get them. Why not making them dropable on explore like spirits? a faction vs faction without world chat lose his PvP mage.

- An other way to bring activity on World Map could be a daily quest that gives 3 coordenates on World Map to hunt, like a treasure hunt that drops a treasure box (with gold, prestige, items, etc).

- Adding quests during events. Events are so cool, but many ppl is tired of farming and many players just don’t care about them. Faction vs Faction on S2 dark side is about 5-6 players, the rest lost interest (and im sure that it happens with all the factions in general). To increase implication you could add challenging quest like: killing 1 NPC in Faction vs Faction gives 5 badges and 1000 credits, getting 100.000 credits 5 badges and 1000 credits, getting 1 milion credits 10 badges and 10.000 credits, etc.
For Grail phase (despite it needs some balance), adding rewards for getting footholds, barrels (mercenaries are rewarded already), etc.

Well atm is enough or it will take yeras to do everything. Thanks to Airesito to support my suggestions and you ideachannel to care about our suggestions!

This game has a huge decline after viscount hierarchy, it starts to be boring after Marquess and gets really boring after Duke. But when u are Minister, most of the really active players start leaving. I think that many of us appreciate your effort in bringing new events, really, but we need something more than farming.

What you miss a lot after viscount are quest, we need more quest. You don’t need to do huge events, just a new daily and history quest like: doing all the instances in regular/heroic. Adding more quest rewards for killing heads (i don’t know why at the start we had to kill like 3-4 dudes in every zone, but after viscount you only have 1 head to kill). Having your senate to lvl 70-80-90 on ur 3 cities. Rewards if you Rob NPCs. You could add some special NPC famous city in World map (and increase the prestige you can gain with them), which has a special guard with a quest reward. Adding some explore guy randomly who you have to hunt, etc. I have many more ideas if you are really interested just ask me and i can give more suggestions to add quest, and im pretty sure that other players will love to suggest quest.

Btw, explore needs to be fixed or completed, because there is a zone at northweast incompleted. Would be nice to do the instance there.

And finally, you could give us some free portal teleport daily, maybe 2 free teleports/day or whatever. That way more players would do instances (more considering that is the way to get gems..). Is really hard to do instances when the serves hardly have active players and you have to spent mp or travel whole map to do instances.

Today i was going to explore and i have problems dispatching units. When i use the formation “raiding style” my spearman are bugged and i can’t fully dispatch all my units with “max button”, i only can use it typing the max of each troop. If i try to change formations my spearmans group goes mad and i can add multiple groups of spearman (like a bucle). When i try to attack with bugged troops i only have a group of spearmans vs no enemy and the battle never ends (there is “START” text bugged on the screen too).

But i have bugged the explore only, when i rob on world map i can do it (at least NPC, i will try pvp robbing).
I’ve tried to restart the computer and browser, cleanning the cache and using my account on an other browser but it doesn’t work.

@ApacheXLIV if it helps you, considering Avalon, maze and dungeon farm and after farming more than 3 Milion prestige(500 keys for sure) i’ve just got 4 orange mounts, 1 orange gloves and 1 orange boots. The rest is all from alchemy reward and shops.

Topic: Castlot / Phase 2 of Grail needs a balance

I know that i should post this on suggestions instead of creating a new topic, but i think that grail 2n phase needs more than a suggestion. It needs a real threat because it is really bad designed:

I have a bright lvl 43 char(not much active) on S1 and a lvl 90 dark on S2. In this event i’ve tried to be a lot active with my dark char to see if it was better winning or losing the 1st phase ( i knew that was really obvious that losing was better).

At the first phase i got 250k Contribution (150% more contribution than what is needed to get items coords) and yet i got coords of 5 purple worthless items and no reward for being top 1 contributor, but i though :“meh, lets hope that i can get a lot resources after my effort” so many dark players of s2 have tried so hard to lvl the mercenaries, but is not worth at all.

So, after 60h of the 2n phase event, lets do numbers to see why this event needs some fix:

In my bright account i’ve killed 32.2k/100000K mercenaries doing nothing and with only 10k of units in my base getting prestige, gold and reserve barracks (oh!).
Meanwhile, in the same situation on my dark account i get nothing directly, just a share of resources based on what mercenaries rob and my contribution (meh, is the reward of my hard effort).

But i decided to farm barrels to lvl my mercenaries hopping for more resources. Lets suppose an avg of 5 barrels/battle (which is a lot lower, farming lvl 9-10 is not worth at all) so we need 24000 battles to get lvl 10 mercenaries. After razing 2150 barrels (yes i have), i’ve got a total of 10750 barrels, not even a lvl. I probably am in top 3 of barrel hunting, but that will give me nothing but a waste of resources/units, less population and less gold. (oh wait, i get some resources of winning phase 1!!) .

Now lets see bright, i decided to attack a mercenaries foothold lvl 5 and i killed 34k mercenaries…nevertheless, lets say that we have an avg of 5k mercenaries/battle (which is a lot less!!) we just need 20.000 battles to kill all mercenaries (without counting the free mercenaries killed doing nothing/player). We see that we need many less battles (and is really lot less). But funny part is (not considering that u get more exp killing 5k mercenaries than 1.2k units from a lvl 5 barrel) that top 3 of every zone get rewarded for they effort (But wait, u can stack the rewards of being top in every zone!!)

Thats not the best part tho, if looser faction is not able to kill all the mercenaries, your reward will be like a 5% of resources/gold more for your cities in mercia…. too tempting if we have some advanced relocator to move in…

But hey, no wonder why none cares about winning 1 phase of grail anymore :)
