About the last one. I clicked on reset abilities and then you are able to drag any ability down to your quick bar. (Just drag them, don’t choose them).

Topic: City of Steam: Arkadia / Some noob questions

1. Is it posible to rank up those initial abilities? If so, how? (When I click the power button, it says my abilities are just at 60%)
2. I was finding out what a company is and does and I made one myself. However when I try to quit, it says “I must choose new leader before quitting”. Can I disband it then somehow?
3. There was a wilderness boss event. I just got sent to Arkadia when I clicked it. How do I actually find the boss?
4. In the claim rewards section. What does clock-in mean?
5. Sometimes I see people killing the same boss over and over again. Is it like a subscription thing, that they are not limited on xp/loot in some dungeons?

Edit: 6. Are you supposed to be able to use (as a gunner) Caustic splash, Triple tap and Incendiary rounds at the same time? Or is that a bug?

Decrease map size for hard and lesser difficulties. Yes, yes I know about artillery and why they changed it. But for noobs it gets really boring having to wait for enemy to arrive.

As far as I can tell it they are somehow able to kill avatars that aren’t spawned. R-N and Kryptonite died today. I’m somewhat certain neither of them were online. Both of them losing around about 75% or so of their infamy (which sugguest they’ve been killed a couple of times).

Edit: “War then” as well.

So my landmine had a lot of uses left. It wasn’t a display error it went off several times during a battle. Anyway sadly reloading my game helped and now it just has uses 1 left.

Well, about the howitzer. The max distance for an avatar is 20 spaces away from the closets teleport area. If you want any walls protecting your avatar from an attack from behind or other defense, you’ll have to move it closer to the front teleporters. Likely around you’ll end up at range 16-18, which is within a range were the new howitzers will cut through the walls like butter.

Edit: But I guess they’ll be needed to destroy those new diamond turrets.

Well Belizeth you may like that Femborg change (I agree, there are reasons to like it). But I use also them as a part of my base defense and now I won’t be able to. And imo they were the only units besides snipers, with a decent enough damage/training time that could be used for offline defense.

About the butchers. Without a ton of Femborgs to throw at them, I really can’t see what I’m going to do about them at all. If their training time 6 were hours or so, they could be usable by everyone. Since I usually don’t like throwing away 1d+ units in some random border fight.

Increased withdraw time. Wtf? It’s gonna suck even more to be a small clan. It will almost be a 100% chance that I will get ambushed now, if I use a renegade or a liberator. And increasing their training time as well doesn’t help. (Although, I do like the fact, that you would actually take a risk if you bring them to some new guys base).

The only thing about this change that would make me attack more is the howitzers increased damage. Since you would still be able to deal a decent amount of damage even from the teleport area. This will of course suck for everyone that doesn’t have the full map.

About the Recall button. I assume withdraw time still counts when using it. I Can’t way for the day when I use it, just to realize my liberator still has 1 minute of withdraw time left :)

Build slots? Yet another reason not to attack anyone with a lot of diamond turrets, since they all be high level (instead of just lvl 6-7, which is hard enough).

Edit: I’m talking about the bunker.

Just to make sure I’m getting the color coding. Blue, green, pink are factories. Brown are walls. Grey are windows. Other blue are teleporters. Black is turrets. Purple are statues/Hq.

But the cyan in the center, I don’t have clue. What is that?

I’m just gonna throws this out there as well. Bulletproof glass windows. They would look like regular windows, but act as wall with 100% blockrate until the window is shattered and then it would just become a normal window (the glass it self would have like 5-10 hp). Your own units/turret wouldn’t try to shot through it (and wouldn’t be able too anyway). For enemy units it would look like they could shot through the window. And at times they would be puzzled as to whether they were “wasting” lucid trying to sniper a target or just unlucky and getting blocked at lot.

To balance out the clans a bit more. I suggest you give a sniper turret (worth 15 diamonds, same as changing clan) to new players, if they decide to join a clan, not in the top 5.

As a Vip0 what do I use gold on? The auction house, levy taxes or buy packs? I know I could also be joining those gold tournaments, but I don’t like my chances of getting that gold back. Something else?

If I upgrade my seaport I’ll get that crystal town. I usually use Haunted mine for crystals, will this get me a lot more crystal? (Is it worth upgrading that seaport all together?)

What kind of cards should I extract from to get materials? Is it better to do a bunch of commons or combine some commons and then extract them?

I’m somewhat sure the game doesn’t let you do this, but now I’m actually having doubts. Ignore this if that is the way it already is.

I think that when a spy detects a trap, you should still be able to move past the trap. You would still be able to shot it and all (and therefore you wouldn’t be able to move to the traps exact location), but units wouldn’t have their movement limited otherwise by the trap. Since sometimes you want to escape with a unit and the trap will be the lesser of two evils, or if you just want to sacrifice a unit to a trap. Of course this will also require players to pay more attention to unit movement after detecting traps.

I sent a spy to some guys base from the active list. Went to my own base to collect some stuff. I could see him in the target locator in the In progress menu. However he went offline and the he disappeared from the In progress menu. Leaving my spy utterly useless (and blocking me from building more) until he came online again.

Does only Full sentry work at your own base? It seems to work for others, but I can’t chose it when I’m visiting other bases. Do I have to set it at my own base and then go to another base?

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Frequently Asked Questions & Ask stupid questions here!

I forgot about Business all together and I’m not really sure how it works. Now it is at 98 on gardner. My gardner carreer is already at max. Would it make sense to wait until it is a 100 and then claim the reward or should I just do it now and change it to something else?
