If you’re a developer whos capable of making any type of game, you should seriously reconsider what you’re doing here. You should go with what interests you the most, in order to make the process of developing the game quick, easy, and fun. If you’re also confused, I would just say observe the market. Do some research. See which types of games are profitable, which can benefit you, and how you can make it.

Also, from what I see, you should at first make some games BEFORE asking people what type. From what I’ve seen on your profile, and even on your Newgrounds one, you have to first KNOW what your capablities are. Making games is MUCH harder. You have to know what you CAN do before you can start on what you WISH to do.

Me? I started off with shit/bad/poor quality of games, then got to found I was better at the art and designing of the concepts of my games than the programming. Thats why I’m no longer programming my games, someone else is, but I’m the one supplying it.

My advice isn’t attempting to discourage you, but to first explore and find out your present skill. Trust me. Don’t start, and then completely regret and then blow 500 bucks on Flash CS3 to find out that you can’t program. Making a game is much easier said than done…
