Topic: Zombie Pandemic / Found a bug?

Zombie Pandemic has a helpdesk where you can report bugs and help the development team improve the game.

The helpdesk is available at: https://pixelpandemic.uservoice.com.

Before you report a bug there are however a few things you can test yourself.

1) Check if the issue happens in other browsers. If you are using Chrome, try Firefox or Internet Explorer. Browser games are rendered by the client browser and can behave very differently. Chances are the bug could be related to an update in your browser.

2) Try to reload the page pressing F5. Most times the latest Javascript files just need to reloaded for the game to work probably.

3) Log out and try to login in again. Just like restarting your windows computer, signing out of your account to login in again often solves the majority of problems.

If the bug persists:

1) Search the helpdesk for a similar error report before creating a new topic. You can vote for it helping us to prioritize that particular bug.

Thanks for the report. The problem seems to be related to browsers when you zoom in. Try resetting the browser to 100% (CTRL + 0) and the problem should resolve.

Topic: Zombie Pandemic / Version 1.5.48 is live and includes a lot of bugfixes, new missions and rebalancing.

New characters will literally start bare footed and empty handed as they wake up and their first objective will be to find a weapon to fight the walking dead.

We have also added missions at Bruno’s Weapon Specialist Shop (42,67) and the Chinese family restaurant (34,63) with more missions to come next week.

Bug fixes include issues for users with Firefox and Safari who had problems with the enemy icon and a general fix to clan member invites which would sometimes fail.

The streets are now even more dangerous as the chance of encountering enemies has also been increased while we are looking into rebalancing the map into smaller suburbs and zombie spawning to be less spread out making tactical exploration more important than ever.

“Yesterday, at approximately 7:16am PST, the Windows Azure Storage Service experienced a service interruption in a single cluster in the South Central US sub-region that caused many of the storage nodes on that particular stamp to go offline. We apologize for the interruption and any issues it has caused our customers.

Our engineering teams immediately triaged the issue and have been working around the clock to restore service to affected customers. These repair steps however are taking longer than expected to implement to ensure that there is no impact to customer data. Please continue to check the Windows Azure Service Dashboard for further status updates. We will provide a full RCA once the incident is resolved. Again, we apologize for any issues this caused impacted customers and appreciate your patience."

The Microsoft Azure hosting provider of Zombie Pandemic is currently experiencing problems and the repair process is taking more time than they expected. The hosting center hopes to have issues resolved within 24 hours and will provide a new status rapport 10AM PST 29th of December.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and will keep you updated.
