Topic: Technical Support / Excessive game loading ads

You know, the ones that play in the game window while the game loads. The ones that say “This ad will close automatically” at the bottom, and then after a few seconds give you a link to “close” it early and get to your game. Well just recently they’ve been getting a bit excessive. There have been ads with a border that appears around the actial video, obscuring the “close” link, and ads that also bring up huge banners that cover the bottom half of my screen, also obscuring the “close” link. I feel that these additional pop-ups are excessive and seem to be crafty attempts to get me to accidentally click on their ad when I actually mean to click the “close” link, because it’s now hidden by the ad.

Can someone monitor these ads and maybe take action to remove the excessive ones?

Topic: Technical Support / Villainous save files

So I started working on the Villainous badges a couple of days ago. Already had the easy, but I got one of the mediums and then stepped away to do some housework and when I came back to my laptop it had restarted itself for updates. Went back to the game and I’d lost my save file, so I started again. I saw in the description something about save files not working if you clear your cache and what have you, which I figured must have happened automatically due to the restart.

Started again and played on-off for about 2 days, got the second medium and was (over) half way to the hard (10 golds). This morning I’ve gone back to the game and the page and game is running really slow. My girlfriend told me the game she was playing yesterday did the same thing when she went back to it and she had to refresh the page a few times to get it working again. I was reluctant to refresh after losing my save file before but the game was unplayable as it was, so refresh I did. I had hoped it wouldn’t be too much of a problem as I clearly was not clearing my cache.

Save file lost.

Not spending another 2 days getting myself back to where I was in this game. Any way I can get my save file back or is it just a deserved 30 points lost forever?

And why does Villainous have such problems with save files? No other game I’ve played has deleted save files when I’ve cleared my browsing data so why does Villainous claim to have this problem? And why can it in fact not even keep a save file through a page refresh?

Well, you’ve assumed that because x/x = 1 (for x != 0), then 0/0 = 1 too. This is not true. Can we not say by the same logic that because 0/x = 0 (for x != 0), then 0/0 = 0?

Clearly 0/0 cannot take two different values, simultaneously. Hence, it is undefined.

(If we take limits as well as equalites, it can also be argued that 0/0 = infinity and also -infinity too.)

Wow. Judging someone by their looks? Dude seriously. And you thisisnotasmile.. What’s good about Susan Boyle is that she’s not pretty, and she sings GREAT because most singers are pretty and they sing great. So really how bout YOU Fuck off.

I’ve said she’s an okay singer. To me, that’s nothing special. I don’t like the type of music she sings, and I’m allowed to form my opinion around that if I want to. The fact that she is ugly has absolutely no link to whether she is talented or not, and is therefore irrelevant.
