No your mistaken, you can’t percent transparency. That is only for things like photoshop. The technical meaning for transparency is that it lets all light through. Translucency is the technical term for saying 50% transparency. They are the same thing and are both equally easy to do in unity. To change a material for a few seconds while a spawn shield is used is not hard at all. A simple script or animation would work perfectly.

Harrier is a good idea, but everything has to fit in with the backstory of the game. Harriers are NATO planes, I don’t think that the USSR have anything like the harrier unless I’m mistaken. It would be a little unfair, the blue team having a jump jet and the red team having to drive their plane into position for a take off.

Island x is Big enough, sandstorm is big enough. They should extend the structures on the sandstorm map, the whole battlefield seems kind of centered on the main road. In real life houses don’t just stop on a wall, they gently thin out. So in the centre there is a lot of buildings then as you get out towards the “suburbs” there become less and less buildings. As for jets I guess they would be ok on some maps but I’m not sure on some. Like on maelstorm the bases are aircraft carriers. Aircraft carriers in real life are usually around a mile in length (length of a runway) on rc2 they are nowhere near that length, it takes about a minute to run from one side to another. The average time to run a mile in real life is around 5-10 mins depending on the persons health and stamina. Put that into a game, then we have enough room to launch an f16 or whatever and some room left over for the helicopters.

I thin you got mixed up, if they were transparent they would be invisible. Translucent is slightly see through, like a ghost. If you are not mistaken, then that is not a good idea because people would find a glitch or make a hack where you stay invisible after spawning.

Or maybe like a ghost mode, the player is translucent then after a few seconds fades into normal colour. Then you know not to shoot them.

I think they are going to have to have missiles such as the javelin and other heat seeking missiles.

Ok then I understand what your saying, so what about a player who is spawn killing it send the message “spawn killing is not allowed” right? Notice the words “not allowed” intending that its against the rules of the game, so if a player breaks this rule more than 20 times in one game they should get kicked and their kills removed from the scoreboard. And if a player gets this message five consecutive times before a kill they should be automaticly killed or transported back to their spawn. It’s to stop people getting like a 30 kill streak from camping and using an mg3 or .50 cal.

Agreed^^ its not a good idea, doesn’t fit in with the theme of the game. Which to remind you is an imaginary/fictional war between NATO and the ussr. Zombies isnt going to work as the war isn’t over (as we know so far) so nobody will have died and turned into a zombie. Therefore will not work. You could argue about the ussr creating a virus thingy but that is not realistic.

I hope they don’t add jets, its going to unbalance the game and the maps are too small. They should extend autobahn so you can go to the lake on the otherside of the hills that surround it. It’s also a little strange that there’s an invisible barrier around the map…

If your are immune and unable to fire, what is the point of spawning? You may as well just stay killed untill somebody else kills any spawn campers. I think there should be a shield thing around the base, when they are in it the enemy can’t shoot in and they can’t shoot out. There is a timer to prevent camping of course. When they leave their immunity goes away automaticly.

The spin is controlled by your mouse, it will always move towards your crosshair.

No, ealmost every fps has zombies or a survival mode. The whole game is multiplayer, it would just fuck things up if there was non-multiplayer: Would the do gained in zombies be added on to your xp on multiplayer if you have no Internet connection? What would the story line be? Where would you get weapons? Do you use the weapons you have purchased with coins?

There is hardly any of them left now, I used to see at least 30 a day now I see one or two. I think they should have some proper testers like normal players, not the sweaty nerds that HHF and raptor are, no offense.
