Topic: Call of Gods / CoG reborn? I think not.

Sorry, I don’t play anymore, so I didn’t feel the right to participate in your conversation. But I’m sure most of you guys know the two new games the CoG team has cooked up: Glory of Gods and Clash of Olympus. They are reusing CoG item icons and even city names, like Sky City in their new games. Their banners still feature girls dressed almost in nothing and buttons that clutters the screen with a million icons. The catch is that they’ve basically stolen Wartune’s game frame by giving freedom for the character to walk around, Wings, Mounts, and a system where you don’t really have to play at all. (Just keep clicking next quest and your character will auto-walk for you.)

It’s pretty clear and obvious what’s happening. This is how CoG is “rewarding their loyal customers”. If you take a look at their other games you will see what’s going on. All of your suggestions and ideas are being put to their new games. And the CoG cycle begins again, a virus with a new face.

Topic: Cloudstone / Stuck on the Tutorial

Is there anyway the Devs can fix this for me? This is what happens after I get the sword in the treasure chest at the 2nd map and there’s no way to click anything else except “Remove” on the shirt. When I refresh I get sent back to the Create a Character screen.

Are you using a public Wifi connection? I remember at one time my school’s internet blocked Call of Gods and I could play any game on Kongregate, but just not CoG. You might be facing a similar issue.

check that … more than one hour of fight … all big players from our server are full T3 and no-stop fighting …. for what, not even a 1/3 of the boss …
So fix it, balance it … or better, just erase it, clean the dawn icons on the top of the screen … (halloween event is over for more than 2 weeks now)

You think that’s bad on s8… s9 is almost laughable.

This is taken an hour and 15 minutes after the opening.

I’m thoroughly disappointed, but can’t say I didn’t see this coming.

1) Upon trying to click “attack” during the first second of its opening, promptly myself and a bunch of other people were kicked out.
2) Recruiting screen would not open.
3) Sped up animation, but nothing would load.
4) Some players were able to bypass watching the fight with the dragon and spam the attack button, thus dealing more damage.
5) The Dragon’s level is shown to be Level 1.
6) Even though it’s at 98% resurrection the losses are still a bit too big, especially for the recently opened s9.
7) After an HOUR of fighting, s9 could not get the boss below 98% HP.
8) After the 30 min timer expired, another 5 minute timer came up??? Please fix your timer CoG.

After these bugs, there’s almost no incentive for anyone to participate in this event, especially s9, when troops are still precious to all.

Suggestion:
1) Give players a REASON to fight the boss. Add Exp? Drops? Something after each fight so it doesn’t seem like our troops are dying for no reason.
2) Give MORE players a reason to continue the fight. If you’re not in the top 3 you don’t get a legitimate prize. If I know I won’t get to the top 3 I won’t waste my troops to contribute.
3) Give players a REAL time limit. Don’t give us a 30 minute timer and then decide it’s too short later.
4) Fix up CLASH before you release new things. After this event, I’m really starting to miss Clash.
5) Add better prizes, like the previous people posting before me have recommended.

But most of all… Please test your games before you release it. Every time CoG opens a new feature it just makes more people angry and pissed off.

If you’re adding silver card to rep/honor, could I suggest adding tscs as well? :)

They are much rarer, silver you can get easier by dungeons and can be collected daily from alliance rewards, but tscs seem to be dropping less from world boss runs.

Just from my experience on s9 anyway. :)

After this maintenance, the score rank will be reset. By 0:00 Nov 30th, we will issue rewards to the first three places based on players’ score rank.

I hope this does not mean our score points will be reset as well.

it’s still ok for me,if they’ve trouble with abyss I just ignore do it
only login for alliance war and some easy daily quest +dungeon,I love my alliance :)

Found some bugs.

It says I have 2 more AQs left but I can’t do them. :( Refresh does not work either.

And a second, minor bug:

It says I have 2 of the wolf pelts in my inventory, as indicated by the icon on the right, but it says I have 0/5 in the box.

Maybe once every two or three days for me? I notice that I get this message after I clean my inventory while I’m in Abyss. Hope that helps! ^^

I know we get a warning when we have less than 5 inventory space left, but is it supposed to tell us when we have 11 slots left? This has happened to me before, but only in Abyss. Is it a bug?

I have an inkling this started with the first Werewolf-Tattoo event, where the levels, exp and drop rates were affected if you were too high of a level. I still do get drops from the early rooms in Abyss but I noticed it wasn’t nearly as much as before.

I have notes of my drops from late September, and it looked like I was getting some sort of a drop almost every room, whether that was Pride Shards or Lumber III cards. Nowadays, it wouldn’t be uncommon to have no drops for 15 rooms straight.

I definitely think that something has changed, but whether that was intentional or a mistake on CoG’s part has yet to be seen.

Hi IceWeasel – I think you’re mistaken. With the new update, everyone 5-10 gets a prize of 10 purple tattoo fragments.
