The max right now is 60. That doesn’t mean that it won’t go higher eventually. As the game updates more and more, it is likely that the lv increase.

But I doubt you will retain the xp you gain at max lv right now when that happens.

they also all happen to be directly lvl20.

Sector 1? Are you serious? I think it’s good that you’re quitting this game in that case. Because you sure as hell wouldn’t be able to take what is coming in the future.

To be honest, the difficulty of this game isn’t that much. And of course there are frustrating moments, but every game has those.

You also stated one very interesting thing at the end of your post. Which was: ‘’good luck with your beta’’. Now a game is a beta for a reason. It is common for there to be bugs as well as balancing issues in a beta test.

If you want Pokemon, then go play Pokemon. This game, undeniably, has a lot of similarities to Pokemon. But that doesn’t mean it’s supposed to be identical to Pokemon.

There are plenty of fan type Pokemon games out there, online even, that do really close to what Pokemon does.

I like that Insomniac wants to, instead, experiment with the formula.

I have wasted star gems unknowingly more than once. It’s way too easy to spend them and the game lags like ****.
