Topic: Elements / Elements AI fails

AI in Elements has still a great need of improvement, but I won’t claim that’s easy. AI can’t has imagination, which is a very important skill in Elements. You must be able to imagine and understand the deck of your opponent in order to counter it successfully (a good example is not playing some permanents if your opponent is a mono-Darkness stealer), but the AI won’t be able to do that. However, some bugs like putting new weapons & shields continously must be fixed at once, if possible.

The Kongregate Elements Forum Board is a forums for the Kongregate player community playing Elements but the main forums for the game Elements is http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php.

1) Well, many times I have seen the AI using its Otyughs to eat friendly 1/1 creatures (like Skeletons, Photons, etc.) when there are enemy creatures with less health than the Otyugh.
2) The AI has the nasty habit to buff a single creature of it. A good example is the continously buffing of a single Dune Scorpion with Blessings while there are more Dune Scorpions out there. Same goes with almost every kind of creature buffing.
3) The AI also uses desctructive spells only in high-health creautres, while a single Thunderbolt could be used to destroy a far weaker but far more dangerous creature. There are several examples of this and the opposite also happens.

My favorite game was when my opponent was full of Malignant cells but I have had a Skull Shield to block him and I was also full of malignant cells but he had a Fog Shield. The result was my cells damaging him continously each turn while his cells were unable to attack at all, let alone he was unable to summon any more creatures. I’ve finished him of by combining all my cells into a Chimera! It was a fun game!!

Topic: Elements / How many nymphs do you have?

I also have just a Grey Nymph taken by the Oracle and I play Elements for about a month. Do you guys know if you gain one Nymph per month from the Oracle or something like that, or it is completely random and based on luck if you get any Nymphs at all?

Guys, if I want to participate in a War event or a PvP Tournament, what should I do? Are the guidelines in the old forums reliable or should I check the new forums for info?

I think my weirdest mutation was when I got a 12/10 Jade Dragon with a Paradox ability of 1 Life quantum. But I have seen lots of other weird mutations too. Because of this, Mutations are fun but too random and they can easily turn against their masters! :D

“Good game” or simply “gg” are my famous last words before I either win or lose a game.

Here is another one:
- “Foolish Death player! I will rush you with the huge army of Malignant Shells you have just given to me via your Alfatoxin!”

Well, playing against decks that contain 6 copies of a certain card increases the chance to get that card, while cards included in smaller amounts are more difficult to come by. Here are some examples: 1) Spinning after defeating the AI Level 3 deck which uses Pharaohs and Scarabs has a good chance to get a Pharaoh or a Scarab as a prize (this deck seems it has 6 copies of each). 2) Beating a human opponent in PvP 1 or 2 who uses a certain Shard 6 times in his/her deck has a good chance to get that Shard as a prize in the spin, but if his/her deck includes the Shard only once the chances are much much smaller. That’s the only rule I know about. I don’t know about any illegal cheats/hacks, but even if I knew I wouldn’t tell you (no offence here).
