Asked the devs for help via posting on the LoH forum and via private messages here.

In the end we couldn’t figure out what had happened, fortunately they were able to figure out what my class badges had been. (My regular skill badges were fully intact; it was just the class badges that were gone.)

They couldn’t directly reinstate the badges for me, but they figured how many SPs I would’ve needed for them, and they gave me that many SPs.

Give them as much detail as you can because they have no idea what causes this and were quite distressed that it happened without them understanding how or why.

I was without badges for maybe 3-4 days after I asked for help but I am very happy with their response. I hope they’ll look after you too.

I’d really like to see the ability to add friends in-game rather than relying on the platform the game is launched from.

I’m in a league where we’re variously playing through Kongregate, Facebook and ArmorGames, and all of the “invite friends” code is platform-specific.

Another decent option would be to be able to synchronise accounts on all platforms, so joining on one meant you could play through any.

Timeouts. I can live with a timeout once an hour – annoying, but I’ll put up with it. Timeouts every 1-5 minutes? Something is very wrong.

I’m playing in the latest Firefox with the latest Flash on a fast Alienware machine using 30Mbps broadband. I’m going to have trouble accepting suggestions that it’s something at my end… except for the fact that I’m playing from Australia, and maybe your code just assumes roundtrip pings above a certain time mean “OMG someone is hacking the client”?

A guild for dedicated points swaps. We put points towards our own quests first, and then everything to each other.
