As mentioned here the problem is that small and most of the medium raids get killed in a brief 2 minutes. So it is totally pointless to make a thread with it because by the time you do that it is already dead.
As for bigger raids there is a raid topic (I can’t believe how someone can miss the very first topic … but still here is the link : http://www.kongregate.com/forums/137-dawn-of-the-dragons/topics/254172-post-your-raid-urls-here )- and of course there is the script which you can use as much as you want.

Under mistake you mean a rough 20sec difference? At certain levels you can still change to something else regardless what you chose the first time. There is an in-built tutorial, and you can also reset the area you are on – so I don’t think you made a huge mistake.

Just click on “?” if you need in-game help – also there is a nicely built tutorial which you can also use:

Don’t be scared there are games I play for rough 10 mins and come back like half year later and forget about the character I had , so no worries. :)

You mostly have to adjust your equipment – only their proc count in the damage – so put in armor and weapons if they give extra damage, increased crit, ect. Also keep in mind that a known bug is that the commander’s attack and damage doesn’t add to the legion damage – so you might have to switch your general and commander for increased damage.
You get get an army if you pay with PC, but I never saw a good reason to do it.

Try FF. If it doesn’t work there either you might have a connection issue. Turn off your computer and unplug your modem (and your router if you have one). Wait about a minute plug in your modem, and once it is fully powered plug in your router, and wait another minute. Once it also started up, turn on your computer, clear the ENTIRE cache, and it should work. If it doesn’t there could be about a dozen of other reasons.
Let me know in PM too whether it worked :)
