Kreds can be used for Tip Jars, buying Kongai cards, and also virtual items for some upcoming multiplayer games. I understand the bit about getting things without Kreds for the Kongai cards (you just have to do more work). However if these “virtual items” can’t be gotten by any other way other than Kreds, that’s an in-game advantage. And yes I do realise that I don’t have to play those games. But what if I like that game and want to play it, but can’t do as well as I’d like to because other people pay Kreds for these “virtual items”? If these items can be gotten without Kreds, then I’ll eat my words :|

I can’t remember who said but it was something like 1000 refreshes of a page for $1 of ad revenue, something like that. I don’t see why you have such a problem with some us donating to developers to give them a little bit more.

Personally I love the idea, the fact that I can if I wish to show my appreciation to developers is an amazing idea. If I end up tipping really bad waitresses for bad service, I can’t see why I shouldn’t tip developers for making games I enjoy. For the people complaining about it, just don’t buy any kreds, its not like its going to make any difference to you if you do or don’t.
