Also, that’s not the reason at all that OS X doesn’t have many virus issues. It’s about money.

Think of it this way:

You have to spend $x developing a virus to attack people’s computers and get money however it is that you plan on doing it. Are you going to target the market with hundreds of millions, billions even, of customers or the audience with tens of millions, maybe a few hundred million customers?

It’s simple economics and market share. There hasn’t been enough computers running OS X out there for them to be worth infecting.

you need to think more.

You’re right, it’s not only about money, but there are still far more Microsoft computers. So if you’re just making a virus to be a jerk, well you’d still target Microsoft computers to be able to damage more people.

It should be noted that as Apple computers are getting more popular, people are beginning to write viruses for Macs, but Microsoft computers still make up 90% of all computers.
