Just to keep you posted, I can confirm there is an issue here and it is not as simple as cannons are dealing 10x damage. As a matter of fact, upon fixing the issue, cannons are actually more effective now. We are preparing a 2.7 release that will address this issue and make some changes related the accommodating the impact of this change. 2.7 should be ready some time today, and I will go in full detail in the release notes.

BTW- This is a terrific bug find, glad it was caught now vs. down the road.

Ran the test and is it clear the bonus from weaponry at low levels is significantly higher than it should be, investigating the cause and impact as a top priority now.

First off, I want everyone to know that I am here and I am listening, and we’re committed to getting this right.

I know these changes will negatively effect strategies, and it’s tough to reconfigure and readjust. Some of the abilities were just simply over powered, and others were useless, the main idea is to bring them all to the center where there is actually a debate as to what is better and what isn’t. We’re getting closer, and will continue to get closer.

For the leader board, I think that combined FP is a great stat to display a player’s overall progress in the game, and I want to encourage building out a second fleet. At the same time I get people are heavily focused on making a single power-house fleet too (especially those who aren’t on their second fleet). It’s a good idea to just have both leader boards.

This thread is good… Keep the feedback coming on mobile now but will chime in fully when at keyboard. Very helpful feedback. I went on the side of caution with nerfs today but will definitely be working on it until it is right.
