Twitter is really good for following businesses and the such, but I’ve heard some people use it as their main form of social media and it absolutely blows my mind.

The most emotional I’ve ever gotten was after playing Life Is Strange, that ending killed me.

I can barely think of a time when I’ve heard it, to be honest, and whenever I do hear it, it’s not pronounced “ay” like the stereotypes, but more along the lines of “huh”. Of course, Newfoundland also has it’s own version of Eh, so that’s probably why I hear it less often.

You also have to take in account how many of those members do not pay for a premium membership and also use Ad-Block constantly, those user bring in very little or perhaps even zero profit.

Esoteric is not giving the credit it deserves, virtually every thing I say is some obscure and esoteric reference to something mildly popular.

It’s been a long time since I played, I remember having a Rayquaza that I caught with my master ball, I let him completely carry my team through the Elite 4, I think I may have only used him and Blaziken for every opponent. I wasn’t very good at the game, what were you supposed to catch with your master ball?

When all of you guys were younger, did you or any of your friends have crazy theories about how to catch pokemon easily? I had friends tell me to push start and select repeatedly but my solution was the hold B and A as hard as humanly possible, like, I’d press it so hard my fingers actually hurt. I also had a friend that would press every single button on the Gameboy simultaneously.

This whole conversation convinced me to get a GBA emulator on my phone. It took me way too long considering Apple takes a hardline against doing anything remotely fun with your iPhone, but I found an all-in-one emulator that has everything from gameboy to PS1.

Hate to do it to you Jamie, but that post just isn’t going to fly. First of all, logically, killing that man would be improbable, considering he’s not completely incompetent. Also, unless I say otherwise these characters cannot be killed, they’re good at what they do and they have a massive advantage on every character in the game. Also, I don’t want any players dictating any aspects of these characters. Those four characters’ actions, appearance and personality will be completely dictated by me.

If I give you options and you’re not exactly thrilled with those options, talk to me first before you post. Also, in regards to characters finding weapons, please try to refrain from that unless I explicitly state that there are weapons within your reach.

You decide to not get involved in Kenny’s breaking and entering, instead opting to observe from the outside, much to Kenny’s annoyance as he persisted that you follow him, which you decline. The bar was cleaned up immensely compared to the other buildings in the city, yet it was still far from civilized. At the center of the room there was a large table with four chairs, with a deck of cards and a large pile of poker chips at the center. A tray lie on the table with a small pile of white powder and a razor blade. There are many amenities laying around that looked too new compared to the rest of the rotted city, dart boards, sleeping bags, bottles of liquor, cans of food and even a rifle(the magazine and barrel have been removed) lay around the abode. One of the tables holds a large pile of raw, bloody meat. You begin fear what that meat might be, considering the scarcity of food for many people here. Kenny immediately begins making his way to the table and to pile of cocaine, one of the first things you noticed about him was he looked like a drug addict, this only confirmed your suspicion. You try to ignore him and get a little bit more information about the people that live here. One the floor there was a large bone on the floor, it looked vaguely human but possibly a bit too skinny to be from a man. It was covered in teeth marks, you lean in the window to try to get a closer view and you see two small plastic bowls on the floor, one of the has the name “Kidd” scrawled on it. Strange, you’d think if they owned a dog you’d have seen-

A growl and a scream. Your eyes dart back to Kenny, who was falling onto his back, with a mangy looking mutt clamped around his forearm. The dog looked feral, one of its eyes was gashed opened and it was missing a good portion of one of his ears. The dogs teeth were tearing your friends flesh as he wailed out for help, he began punching frantically at the dog with his good hand and eventually the dog relented as it lurched back, whimpering in pain at Kenny’s assault. On the main street you hear an engine and you’re filled with dread, you hear the men in the truck slam on the brakes just in front of the bar. Kenny is now running towards the window, you quickly open it for him to give him a swifter escape, but the beast is on his heels, barking and snarling.
“Man, that dog is losing his mind, you fed him before we left, didn’t you?” You vaguely hear from the front as you hear them beginning to open the lock. Kenny is beginning to climb out the window, but the dog wraps it’s jaws around his calf and starts tugging him back into the building. Kenny looks at you with wild, fearful eyes. He’ll certainly be caught without intervention.
You can help Kenny by forcing the dog to let him go, this will possibly preserve your ally but will put you in danger from the dog’s owners, or you can leave Kenny to his fate and run away. The people in the truck will probably know you’re here, but at least you’ll have a headstart.

Matthew

Looking at the bodies you decide to avoid them, from a distance it was impossible to tell just how long they have been there and whatever killed them could still be close by. You decide to wait before you continue into the mall, you circle around the moderately sized building until you are confident in your safety, the place looks desolate. You continue inside through a set of double doors on the side, which had technically been reduced to a single door considering one of the doors was scattered around the parking lot. You silently creep through the mall, but most of the stores were stripped clean, the entire first floor is pretty barren. Suddenly, a voice from behind startles you, a man is standing on the second floor leaning over the railing. He has shaggy dark hair, a very unkempt beard and his skin is pale with sunken eyes, he has a sickly look to him, but he also looked much healthier compared to some of the people you’ve seen. His left arm is injured, and he had a makeshift arm sling wrapped around himself, but despite his injury he still wears a sly, cocky smile.
“Now you look lost.” he says with a hint of a German accent, “Sara been giving you a rough time, eh? She’s rough on the new ones.” he says with a chuckle. Suddenly he tosses something to you, a small bag of gummy bears.
“Not much, but it’s something. Now, what exactly brought you here?”
This man is a bit odd, but he seems to be rather friendly, or at the very least he’s knowledgeable, perhaps he could shed some light on a few questions, or direct you where to find clothes and more food.

Jamie
You begin to descend the stairs to the street when you hear it, that damned truck. You hidden in the house as of now, so you simply attempt to wait for the truck. As the truck draws near you see a duo of men running, they both stop in the middle of the street, look around frantically, then run to a house directly across the street, disappearing into the doorway. The truck rolls up near you and stops right in the middle of the road, all member exit the vehicle and look around confused.
“They’re in that one.” the woman pipes up, pointing to the house the men ran into.
“No, that one.” a man contradicts, pointing to your house. Fortunately for you, the woman is very sure on her stance, and sparks an argument that gets very heated, very quickly. The argument lasts for over a minute, but had devolved into insults almost immediately. The woman settled it, not by proving her point, but by threatening to shoot the other one. They all begin towards the other house, but the woman tells one of the others to stay behind just in case. He grumbles his displeasure, walks to the truck, reaches in and cranks the stereo. “Same ol’” by the Heavy is now all that can be heard as the man sits on the hood of the car, watching the street. You know have a problem, there is a good chance they may check the house you’re in, but leaving the house isn’t so simple. You observe the man, you can’t hear him but he seems to be singing along to the song, taking breaks to air guitar and drum the respective solos of the song, his rifle wasn’t even in his hands. You have a good feeling you could slip by him easily and get away from those killers.

John
You can RP how you kill this man

Arma and Rosalie

Rosalie tucks herself soundly away in a closet while Arma begins walking down the stairs, but is stopped in her tracks when she hears the voice of the woman with the gun downstairs, Arma peers around the corner to see if the coast was clear. The woman was standing, looking out the now open back door with a frown on her face, she seemed annoyed her prey had escaped. She had a real peculiar look to her. She was pretty tall for a woman, hovering around six feet tall. Her light brown hair was long in most places, letting it hang freely down the right side of her head, but on the left it was completely buzzed short, nearly bald. In fact, when you got a better look at it, many chunks of her scalp seemed to be scarred in an erratic fashion, leaving many patched of ugly bald spots on the side of her head. When she turned you could see many other parts of her were in just as rough shape. Her right eye socket was slightly bruised, it looks as if she had gotten a nasty black eyes and it’s in the last stages of healing. She has one of her hands taped like a boxer, capping off her rough and hardy appearance. She mutters something about a “bat outta hell” and begins walking towards her car. You hear the engine start and drive away. Rosalie comes out of the closet and is met with Arma. John is upstairs with presumably a dead body.
You all have a respite to Rp as you wish.

Chelsea

You find yourself in a dark alleyway, the few hours you have been here have been hell on you, and you haven’t even run into anyone, you found yourself fleeing at the first sign of danger and not trusting anyone. When you take into consideration the fact that the first four people you met here immediately tried to kill you, you feel vindicated in your decisions. In the middle of the alley you hear a commotion, an angry female voice is in a heated argument with an even more angry male voice. Against better judgement, you decide to investigate. There was a rather large man and a smaller woman with fiery crimson hair. Both of them had their hands on a duffelbag full of god-knows-what, only problem is the woman’s nose was bleeding and she looked rather disoriented. The man will easily overpower her unless you intervene, at your feet there is a lone brick and nearby there is a small pipe. Throwing the brick at the man would be the safest option, but you could easily miss.
Hit the man with the brick, hit the man with the pipe or leave because it’s none of your business

You and the woman have differing views on where to go, both trying to convince the other the error of their ways but neither getting anywhere. You eventually split up, you heading to the mall. You make an effort to stay off the road when possible, running into that truck again was not exactly desirable. As you begin to set out you once again hear gunshots in the distance, the one of the drones you seen before begins flying towards you, it hovers overhead and follows you where ever you go. You start making your way towrds the mall, noticing a handful of stray dogs and a few survivors on your way. The dogs looked feral and so did some of the survivors, you decide to avoid both for now. Death fills the air near the mall and you can see a multitude of bodies from afar. The lobby of the mall was a massacre, more than a dozen bodies littering the floor, but no signs of life. Many of these people wore more than just their jumpsuits, many wore coats, jeans and even had backpacks.
Do you loot the dead or avoid them and search another part of the mall

Jamie

One of the nearby houses was not completely boarded up, one of the panels that was once covering the windows has been torn away. You quietly crawl through the window, making sure not to make too much noise lest you alert any potential residents. As soon as your feet touch the ground the stench of death overtakes you and you gag, trying your hardest to keep your stomach in check. You do your best to manage the smell as you trudge on, scared of what you might find in this ravaged house. The downstairs was absolutely barren and you debate whether or not to even check upstairs, but your mind comes to the conclusion that you probably should, just in case. Every step you take increases the intensity of the smell, until you have to take a break halfway up. As you reach the top of the stairs you immediately locate the source of the stench. A man lay dead in a small bead, blood soaking everything around him. As you move closer to investigate, you see that he has not been dead for too long, but just long enough to create that god awful smell. The cause of death was clear, in his right hand he help a small hunting knife and his left arm had a large gash where he slit his wrists, the cut went vertically from his wrist almost up to his elbow. This man was sure about his decision to kill himself. A small bag lay next to him, you check it and all it contains is two bottles of water. Checking the nearby closet you find clothes, but not the type you were looking for. Most of the clothes is riddles with moth holes and falling apart from old age. The only real salvageable piece of clothing is this dull grey dress that was very conservative, but extremely outdated, looking to be from the 60’s or even earlier.
Rp this part

Rosalie

As you dart down the stairs, one of the men that was trying to pry open the door gives the door one final kick and it comes down, opening up an escape route. One of the women turn around and her eyes widen as she points.
“She’s coming!” the woman cries, but the words barely escape her mouth as a bullet tearns into her shoulder. She cries out again and falls to the ground as the man and the other woman escape through the door. The woman who was shot scurries to her feet, still holding her shoulder and also slips through the door. You are standing on the stairs, out of sight from the woman with the gun and escape is only a few feet away from you. The armed woman was in the house with you, do you try to make a break for the door and hope she doesn’t hit you, or do you hide and pray she doesn’t find you?

Run or hide?

John and Arma

You try to reason with the man, but he continues hissing at you in Chinese. He lunges at you with his knife and just barely misses, you both have a fight on your hands
Attempt to subdue him, or attempt to kill him silently

Frank
You and your new friend move towards the lit building. As you get closer, you realize it was probably a bar before it fell into dire straits, but there was no sign to back up your thoughts. The door was chained shut, but the lock looked very new. Looking through the windows of the door it was clear that people lived here, but it was also clear those people were not home at this time. Kenny suggest trying the back. He finds a window in the back alley and proceeds to open it. He starts climbing in and motions for you to follow.
Do you follow him or back out
