A series of Moral questions
I should have quoted this part. Narrenburg specifically says that it would be morally wrong only if you specifically aren’t it danger. Did I read this wrong?
The rephrase puts it solely in legal terms (legality does not necessarily equal morality, although they are often parallel). If he’s backpedalling from his original morality claim, though, I can’t tell from what was written.
No, Narrenburg says that if you don’t believe your life is in danger, as in, you haven’t made the assumption that it is in danger, it would be morally wrong to kill the gunman. Then, he later states that it’s morally wrong because its rationally unjustified. The latter clarifies the former.

A series of Moral questions
So it’s OK for him to kill your manager, as long as he doesn’t hurt you?
If this is what passes for morality in this world, no wonder it is so screwed up.
I don’t think Narrenburg meant that. What he meant is that you can’t use reasoned logic until you know you’re in danger. If logic doesn’t suffice, you can rely on your instinct. When he said “rationally unjustified,” he was referring to using rationality to make a decision. He didn’t say that’s okay to let the gunman kill the manager. He merely stated that until we have a good way to determine if your life is in danger, the act of taking the 9mm and shooting at the gunman is irrational.

Ich hatte sex mit deiner Mutter. Es hat sich nicht gelohnt den 2 euro habe ich bezahlt.
Translation: I had sex with your mother, and it wasn’t worth the 2 euros I paid for it.
Response: And why are you complaining to me? I didn’t refer you to her!

Hey, don’t make me take off my belt.
Then why did you?
We neglected your name because we were too busy addressing your words. (By the way, you’re talking to the country where Heckler & Koch comes from.)

Kongradulations! You are the 5000th idiot to spell my name wrong! You win a prize. Oh wait, it was the fuck out. Can you go get it for me?
We are currently shaking our heads.
The point wasn’t to say your name. The point was to ask you to integrate your culture into OT or to stop complaining.

DrOctagonapus, if you care so much about your antiquated culture, then reinforce or integrate it into the new.

The word phase isn’t the best way to describe the “new” Off-Topic, because it implies we will go back to the supposedly better days of the past. The best way to describe it is a meme. A meme is a cultural phenomenon that can exist for any period of time. Memes compete and some dominate others. Completely new memes can appear “from the blue”, and others emerge from the ashes.

OT No more swag
It’s not forcing when it’s true and a fact
Even if it were true, and were a fact, you can’t take away the right of someone to deny their swagger.

OT moves as quickly as subcultures do. It’s the nature of the beast. If you can’t adopt the swift change, you’re not going to fit in. If you want the antiquated OT back, I suggest you reinforce the old culture somehow.

OT No more swag
We all have some swag in our hearts.
You’re forcing the idea that I have swag on me. You’re doing the same to every person on Earth. That is still force, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

How many kids do you want?
The Earth can support whatever number of people we want it to support, as long as we impact the environment to facilitate such support. Namely, we must apply a more egalitarian and moderate mode of consumption if we want more humans walking about. This is especially true if you want the majority of these humans to live a relatively luxurious lifestyle.

OT No more swag
Some of use don’t want swag, or swerve, or any other type of subculture invading OT. It’s true. However, how is it our responsibility to be culture police? If the populace wants to show off its swagger, let it do so.
One caveat: Do not force people to have swag, or the GROUP Group will have a problem with you.

Overpopulation isn’t an issue.
It is an issue. However, it isn’t an issue everywhere.
What people forget when discussing population growth is the distribution of growth. Tropical states, for the most part, are still being reaped for their agricultural wealth, so it would be advantageous to have more children. In contrast, the West and the far East have many workers who don’t participate in manual labor; thus, for some, it would be a waste of time to have children. This trend has lasted for so long that the adults have neglected the stability of the population, grinding its growth to a halt or even sending it to a decline.
Let it be known that population growth deceleration should not be used to combat immigrants.

AXE and Dove ads
I think the parent company cares not about the mixed messages, but rather the mixed profit.
Is that a reasonable proposition?
EDIT: This is especially true because of the target demographics. AXE is targeted heavily at males from 13 – 34. Dove is trying to attract males too, but has a generally female following. So it serves Unilever, the parent, to say things each group wants to hear (i.e. males want to hear that AXE = sex, and women want to hear that Dove is empowering their gender).

Crime and color
There is no inherent correlation. Whatsoever. No one can point at a random black man and say, “He’s going to be a great drug dealer, someday!”
Physical environment, social environment, and socioeconomic factors affect all people, irrespective of “race”.

Nanny state censorship?
At least continental Europe has responded with resounding “Hell no!” to that type of legislation.
To answer the question: I’d rather not have anyone snooping through my files, and I have no desire to disturb my government. However, if this legislation were to be passed, the relationship would have to form a two-way street. I should be able to see what my representative and Chancellor and president have to say about any topic whatsoever.

Considering the trend of depopulation and aging in the West, it would be wise to at least attempt to have a child.
