That apart, have you heard of molten-wow? You haven’t? Well its been running for years so you can complain all you want, but if those guys have been ripping off the entire game itself without WoW doing anything, is anyone gonna give a damn about minor cosmetic issues?

Really, I’d love to agree with you. On YouJoy the scene is well-managed, as I’ve stated before, I’ll give them that. Here, on the other hand…

Like I said, if the servers were released with shorter time gaps (even 2 weeks is acceptable), the merge wouldn’t really matter (in fact the players on YouJoy are thrilled since the levels are pretty much on par by now).

Its just that for any MMO on kongregate, successive servers aren’t released soon enough to make merges challenging. Instead, they end up being cumbersome and downright cruel. I don’t know who is responsible, but this really needs to be taken care of or the only happy people will be the top 50 on server 1. For any game.

They’re being cruel and heartless towards half the people who play the game. Obviously these guys have a use-and-throw policy towards players: Suck out as much money as you can for a month, then treat us like trash.

I must say, the way things have been, the MMO scene on kongregate is going downhill. Very fast.

Ah yes I see that now, but the issue of the reason for the server merge is still not clear.
I mean, it’s one thing to merge servers which were released 1 week apart (in case of YouJoy, indeed the top levelers are barely a level apart), and another to merge servers that released 5 weeks apart (here on kong). 5 weeks! People from S2 will have absolutely no reason to play after the merge. No more rewards for putting in so much of time and money to stay at the top.

It’s sad people don’t realize that when a game is hosted on a website other than the native one, it’s more of a quick way of making money for you guys and in the long run we miss out completely.

I’m sorry, but how does the game having WoW sprites have anything to do with the server merge? People haven’t stopped playing the game just because it borrows cosmetics from WoW.

Please take some time to think up a better excuse. The original game on YouJoy hasn’t had a single merge and there are 11 servers there as of now.

Also, I’m sorry to say this, but please have an admin who is fluent in English post because if it’s hard for English-speaking people to understand, imagine how much difficulty non-English speakers would have trying to understand what you’ve posted.

the only way to keep a MMOs like this (yeah, like this, where the top 10 rule over everyone else and there is absolute disparity) afloat is by releasing a new server frequently and merging old ones equally frequently. And considering the number of games kong hosts, cs was a 4-month prodigy that they decided to abandon.

So yeah, people will keep leaving. I’m sure you will too someday.

^You people need to stop this ‘Oh its too tough I give up’ attitude.

Ok… so let’s say you start on server 5. Then S4 and S5 merge… so you give up and move to S7 (because S6 is already long released) after which S6 and S7 merge, see? You’ll just end up trashing a couple of months hard work every time.

Of course you could skip server S5 and start on S6, but how often have people resisted a new server release?
