Boomers are awesome if you know were to place them:

2- A 0/0 Boomer can pop 3 bloons each throw.
3- A 1/0 boomer can pop 7 bloons each throw.
4- A 1/2 boomer targetted on last at the beginning of the map will take care of any lead bloons.

I basicaly use boomers counterclockwise on corners ( Always target last )…learn how to use them, and you’ll love them…:D

IHMO, they are pretty useless until 3/x

Was something just updated on server?
Now I get stuck in loading all the time…
It is trying to load a mp3 file from http://113.171.224.169/ that never replies…

And it is super annoying all the files are sent with max-age:0 so every time I open the game, it has to download everything again and again

Just make all creations be done when you have earned them…
That will also solve many of the current problems there are at waiting for creations before able to rebirth yet again.

So I am level 9, and have 0 energy… Waiting for an hour has produced absolutely nothing.
There is no indication in the interface how to gain energy…
So am I just lost?

And why does tax collection use energy? That makes no sense

C2, E3, J2, K2, O3, U4, X7

These are the 7 fields with compass, you need access to all 7 before you get anything out of it.

When you enter any of these fields, the loading screen will show a vague image of 7 gems. Each of the shown gems on loading screen correspond to 1 field in the above order.
IE. the first gem is C2.

The goal is to get all 7 gems on the loading screen to show a gem level 5.

You change a gem by entering the field, and then clicking on the compass. You need to LEAVE to the MAP and reenter the field to get an update on the loading screen. Restarting map is NOT enough.

When the 7th gem becomes a lvl 5 gem, then the compass will drop something. YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE FIELD THEN! or you wont get the drop.

The rewards for completion of a certain amount of cycles is as follows:
1 – Field D6
3 – Bugged Field Marker (perhaps supposed to be N7?)
5 – Field O4 (Already acquired through normal progression)
7 – Field P6
9 – Field Q7
11 – Field X6
2, 4, 6, 8, 10th times: Talisman fragments of ascending quality

3rd time is bugged, so you CANNOT complete the field, it will just stick around forever after last mob is dead.

Amplifiers are currently way way way underpowered, they are pretty much only useful for giving your gems a speed and range boost. Even at level 12, they contribute less than 5% to dmg and specials, after level 25 they are only speed boosts.

My start strat for this map was to build 2 traps in the center lane, one at the start and one at the first bend.
The start position gem would be mana gain, poolbound and chain hit. Starting at lvl 3.
The other would be a critical, chain hit, poolbound @ lvl 7.
And then just gem bomb the waves to the max, and dont care at all about the beacons.

After first mana (ie. after 100 sec) you increase the killer gem by almost the full amount you got, and just leave enough for even more massive gem bombing. (You are at wave ~5 now).
After second mana (200 sec ~wave 10-12) you have enough to fill out the lane with “mana gain, poolbound and chain hit” and “slow, mana gain, poolbound and chain hit” alternating, starting and ending with the slow.
After 3rd mana, you have enough to get fairly high level mana farms, surrounded with pure managain amplifiers and your damage gem should already now be doing astronomical damage.
From thereon, it is just calculating the damage your damage gem can deal and gembomb the waves until you reach that point. The mana farm gems will be unable to do any damage at all very quickly.

I allocated skill points as follows:

25-30 in true colors
13 in masonry
45 in fusion
25-30 in manastream
24 or 27 in chain hit, managain and poolbound
10-12 in amplifiers
10-12 in fury
10-12 in traps
0-12 in rest
Leave enough for 7k starting mana

After you reach lvl 47 gems (which you should reach around wave 50-80), you put your damage gem in a tower with priority buildings and nuke the hell out of all the occuring beacons. You should be gembombing each wave ~50 times, so 9-10 beacons per wave. It will be near impossible to get past gem 50 after the poolbound nerf with those skill allocations.

1.383.871.674.656 xp on Y1 (version 1.0.6) pre-endurance.
Wizard level 813 before, 6523 after.
Max difficulty.
Highest level gem 50, yellow, red, white.
Can single shoot mobs with 1e21 hp (50 gembombs of level 28 on final level, more before that), but did most waves with 25e20 (ie 1/4 of single shoot, so that I could still almost single shoot the appearing beacons).
Got frag 73, 76 and 87.
Most of the XP is from shooting beacons.

Also chasing shadows makes so much more sense once you are deep enough into the game. Nothing as fun as having to defeat one of them during an early stage of a map.

When map with compass loads(C2 – E3 – J2 – K2 – O3 – U4 – X7), there are shadowy images of different grade gems.
By spinning compasses each grade should become grade 5 gem.
Then it gives reward – unlocks at least 3 – 4 hidden fields and gives fragments with rarity 40 -70

How do I get that to happen? Especially on E3.

each of those fields stands for the corresponding gem on the loading screen. if it shows a grade 1 gem spin it 4 times. if it shows a grade 4 gem spin it just once…till all show a grade 5 gem….the one in U4 is set right by default apparently. now I just need to unlock the X7 field to get the last one to 5.

I get that, but thinking I need to win in order for the change to stick. Just leaving the map seems to not be enough.

You need to “go to map” to get it to update. Restarting level is not enough. You DO need to win the level when you get a drop from the compass.

Larger fights are almost useless XP wise :S

Example:
168 fighters with 4046 xp (level 8) = 679728 total xp
99 Frigates with 3513 xp (level 7) = 347787 total xp
go fight a lvl 5 anomaly with 118 enemies, which results in:
156 fighters with 4378 xp (level 8) = 682968 total xp, actual gained 3240 xp or 0.5%
99 Frigates with 3513 xp (level 8) = 349986 total xp, actual gained 2199 xp or 0.6%
So total gained xp per killed enemy is (3240+2199)/118 = 46

Compare this with a much easier fight:
39 fighters with 172 xp (level 0) = 6708 total xp
go fight a lvl 1 anomaly with 3 enemies, which results in:
39 fighters with 256 xp (level 1) = 9984 total xp, actual gained 3276 xp or 50%
So total gained xp per killed enemy is (3276)/3 = 1092

If your ISP blocks the facebook dns entry, or facebook is unable to load then the layout shows a big ugly box covering the username and connected icon.

Any moron developer will recognize this as a very simple int32 overflow problem… Just switch the dragon hp to an int64 and problem done. Should take the dev less than 30 seconds…

Could you please tell us which one server and what you do to happen this? According to my testing, i don’t encounter it.

Frost obviously….

I tested it more carefully, over 35 minutes of attacks, I had an average of 71.96 sec delay between each.
