They’re looking into it (pretty sure you’re right about what’s happening!). It’s one of those things where it works properly in a dev environment, but not on the production servers. It certainly explains why the imps have always seemed so difficult. :D

the bat’s spreadshot attack when it hits you does x*dmg to you, where x = the # of shots were released in the spread shot

ex:

I saw this in the bug reports too, thanks for sending it in. Are you saying that if you get hit by any one of the projectiles, you take the damage * as many were fired, regardless of whether they hit you?

+ Changed the way Arrow Robots work. Now they tell their attack, but the attack does more damage. Make sure to dodge it!
+ Minotaurs are no longer weak to all damage types.
+ Skeleton Minibosses are no longer weak to melee attacks, but no longer resist magic attacks.
+ Major revamp to the Frost Dragon! Retuned almost every attack so players can more easily see what is happening, learn the attack properties, and react accordingly to animations and color flashes that they see. Also reduced the amount of enemies that spawn in the encounter so the players can more easily focus on the dragon itself.
+ Bug fix for entire team down staying on the screen.
+ Fixed Pyro Glove Charge attack icons and a bug with Flame Gloves.
+ Tuned up all the Temple exits – you can’t just run up and hit the button anymore!
+ Fix for a problem that was causing map progress to not be saved yesterday and health bombs to sometimes fail.

(Note: We are still trying to identify the cause of the trophy crash bug!)

Greetings Rampagers! Dungeon Rampage is being updated with the following changes:

+ Fixed the broken Thor statue in the Nordic Temple that could sometimes trap you in a room.
+ DOT numbers will now appear on Poison chicken, fire walls, flame traps and all other weapons that spawn an npc which spawns an npc which spawns an npc which applies a DOT for the hero who created the initial NPC.
+ Fix for trophy bug crash. We think. Please let us know through the Report a Bug button if you are still seeing this crash in Ultimate Rampage!

ahem Pardon me for the interruption… :)

We think we might have a fix for the trophy crash bug finally.

It seems if you cash out ON floor 15 and don’t complete it or go any further that you will get the chest, if that’s what you’re after. Since we’re a small team we’ve had limited time to verify this but in a playtest yesterday we were defeated on floor 15 and did receive the chests. We’d love to hear some feedback on whether this has been the case for you too – if you died/cashed out before completing floor 15, did you still get the crash?

Not yet. That’s been a really difficult bug because the symptom (the reward screen) is not necessarily related to the cause. It could be anything – a missing animation frame, etc. Please keep sending in those log files to support@dungeonrampage.com! It’s a top priority for the team to get it fixed!

Hey Rampagers! We’re updating the game today with these changes:

+ Health and buff cooking pots now spawn multiple doobers based on weapon power.  The more power the pot has, the more food it will spawn.  
+ The Chef’s Cooking skill now allows him to make better food from his pots. The more points in Cooking, the better chance the Chef has to make quality food.
+ The Chef’s Cooking skill now makes the buffs from buff pot doobers last longer.
+ Fixed a bug that could cause the countdown screen to stay up even after you were revived.
+ Fixed some spots in the Jungle levels that could prevent you from moving forward (like a wall across a bridge)
+ Changed the way some colors are displayed. Let us know if you see anything weird!

Thanks guys – we’re updating the Chef’s cooking today, and we’re actively trying to track down the trophy crash still. So far no leads. What you’re seeing could be a result of something that happens at any point in the dungeon, so it’s really difficult to nail down exactly what’s causing it. :( It’s a top priority for us.

Hi guys, we’ll be updating the Chef this week with some changes to cooking that should bring him into better balance. Thanks for the feedback and we’re sorry for any frustration the changes caused!

The Pyro change will still stand for now, but as always, we’ll be checking out your feedback and will make adjustments as necessary to try to ensure the classes are balanced.

Stay tuned for more news on when we’ll update – current ETA is tomorrow!

When it happens, can you grab your log file from the console? Hit 0 to pull up the console, click on Cc to copy the log to the clipboard, then paste it into Notepad and email it to support@dungeonrampage.com. That would really help us find and nail the bug! Thanks, and sorry it’s so frustrating. :(

The team would also find it really helpful to know these things as well:

1) What Hero are you playing with?
2) Which, if any, Style do you have equipped?
3) Which Dungeon were you playing in?
4) Which floor were you on?
5) What weapons were you using?
6) Did the rewards (chests, item boxes, etc.) appear in your Storage when you refreshed the game?

Hi Rampagers! We’re updating today with the following changes:

+ The Knockback immunity modifier in Ultimate Rampage works again. Sorry!
+ If you open a chest and the randomizer lands on an item you already have but can only have one of (or have too many of), it will try to reroll one more time before giving an error.
+ New traps in the Dino levels – look out!
+ Balanced gold gain in Ultimate Rampage – you’re going to really have to earn it!
+ Fixed the problem with chat scrolling back to the top when a new message comes in.
+ Cooking has been adjusted for the Chef! He now spawns small burgers, not sausages, and has a chance to spawn a cupcake on the killing blow.
+ Poison and fire damage have been adjusted. They now apply the correct % of weapon damage, correct stacks, over the correct amount of time.
+ Fixed a bug with the Pyro’s Burning Damage DOT.
+ Floor counts drastically reduced across all levels to keep game progress fast and fun in the 2nd, 3rd, and Grindhouse leagues.

Hey Rampagers! We’re updating Dungeon Rampage today with the following change s – there should be some notes here that you’ll really like. :)

+ The stats system has been updated and you can now get stats past level 60! All player stats have been reset, and you will have stat points up to your current level. Choose your stats wisely!
+ Revive has been updated to get ready for a new system coming soon! You now have to hold down the spacebar for 1.5 seconds before your friend will rise from the dead.
+ Vampire Hunter traps are completely rad now! Scaling for throwing at a distance works, modifiers tuned for the trap types, and damage is improved!
+ The dash-back sword hit actually hits on dash back now.
+ Fixed some broken props and stuff in the Dino levels.
+ Added double XP events… we’ll let you know when they’re coming, but you’ll have to wait. ;)
+ Updated Ghost Samurai katana charge attacks. Now with 63% more awesome.
+ Removed suffer from enemy attacks (like the skeletons, brutes, etc.). This should greatly reduce feelings of unresponsiveness when melee characters have their attacks interrupted by basic enemies. Also added a tiny suffer chance to all hero melee attacks to improve survivability.
+ The level curve has been adjusted so you’ll be fairly high level by the time you hit the Grinder League. You’ll understand why, soon!

Specialization is something we are looking into (no promises on what the solution is, but we agree it would be more fun). We’re also checking into beefing up the way grouping works, so keep an eye peeled for that too.

We’ve been working on a new system that’s coming “soon” so once that is done, the designers will move on to other stuff like that!

Well, we are not a huge team so bugs are prioritized and fixed as soon as we can. The best way to send bugs in is through the “Report a Bug” button in the game. :) We read through them every day.

Shaman Imps are the green imps in the ice levels, that spawn the blue imps.

And apparently the raptors were too easy. ;) Try them out now and see!

Greetings, Rampagers! We’re updating the game today with the following changes:

- Ice imps have been tweaked. Shaman Imps will spawn fewer Ice Imps.
- New exits have been added to the Tribal dungeons! Don’t think that’ll make them any easier, though.
- Beware of dinosaurs! Raptors have been buffed.
- Added new starting points for dinosaur dungeons.
- Fixed a bug that prevented you from buying some weapons in the Shop.
- Updated exit tiles for the ice village dungeons.
- You’re no longer required to complete the tutorial dungeon.

We’re also adding some super sekrit stuff for something big coming soon… ;)

Hey guys! We’re updating the game today with a brand new UI you can try out! The new UI is more compact and lets you keep more of your attention where it belongs – on the FIGHT! To check it out, click on the Options button. Let us know what you think!

Here are some other changes we made today:
Chat has been updated
and the character limit
was greatly increased
so now you don’t have
to talk like this!
Added a note to the Gift UI letting you know that the limit for each type in your inventory is 99
