Well, that clears up a bit of confusion I had.

I hate the connection every 24 hours crap. My friends and I pack up and move the Xboxs to other local co-op settings where online isn’t possible. Many times for far longer than 24 hours. This sucks.

However, for a solo-gaming platform, I do use the Xbox for and multitude of other things than gaming. Plus, when I buy my games, I do not sell them. I’m a hoarder, so sue me.

Will I buy? I’m still deciding.

Given that it’s been almost two months, it’s about that time again for a giveaway!

Full disclosure: This is an Xbox 360 & North American mainly giveaway. Codes are specific for that, but if outside of those two aspects or you so choose, Kred equivalent will be awarded.

Anyhoo… if you didn’t know, State of Decay (Class3) came out recently for the Xbox and in my eyes, it didn’t disappoint at all. It was everything I expected it to be and more… with co-op hopefully on the way.

It put the fear in me of zombies again and what you should and should not expect of them in a survival setting. Whacking one to death? Easy. Kick one down and snuff him out? Easy. Having your weapon break in the middle of a feral zombie assault? Bad. Whipping out your gun to finish him off and alerting the zombie hordes nearby? Do you have a paddle for Shit Creek?

It’s times like that that I love and hate this game.

So, onto the basics…

Rules: Just post about zombie games. Your favorite, your most hated, a quote continuing a conversation, etc. Basically, just discuss zombie games.

Mostly, mods nominate users. Users can nominate others too via an email to support@kongregate.com. Nominations are completely discreet, though, so you’ll never know if you’re nominated, rejected, rejected 10 times, etc.

What type of game is it? I wouldn’t mind a Sid Meier’s Pirates in a steampunk setting. That was my impression from the image above, but I see an image of a cake and I jump to that conclusion.

Well, it’s that time of year again, and I’m an evil necrobumper. Mwahaha! I love Hump Days.

Anyhoo, I’d personally like to give a nice shout-out to all three of the community admins (Z, tricky and Cman) for everything they’ve done for me personally over the last year and the time they’ve dedicated to the site in general and all its’ glory/awesomeness/time I’ve wasted/yada yada. They’ve given and listened and treated far more and than I expected, and for that, thank you countless times.

Well, your friend is an ass for not including the AV cable with the PS3, then. A free PS3 with no AV!? Torture!!! If the PS3 never came stock with one, then Sony is a complete ass. Seriously, I have the AV cable stored in my backpack just in case I have to use it on older TVs with my 360. There’s even that AV converter thingy I use for headsets with the HDMI that should have come stock.

Otherwise, you should be able to find an AV cable/multi-out/S-video/whatever the hell they’re called at the nearest Gamestop, Best Buy, Radio Shack, used game store, your aunt Sally’s house, the dumpster, etc. I’d make sure you get the HD one, though. More versatile nowadays than the basic red/white/yellow AV. It shouldn’t cost you more than a few dollars, but that’s not very expensive considering you were given the PS3.

Well, the internet wasn’t really a luxury to me until a few months before I found Kong. (I’m such a hillfolk, I know) In that time, I remember playing FlyFF for some time and getting bored and wanting smaller games. Ended up finding Kong. Z-Rox and Talesworth Arena were two of the recently-badged games at the time and I quickly got addicted to the achievement-like style of the badges. An unnatural fear of the chat quickly faded with witty waylays into chat and the general friendliness of the old residents in the room I still own.

For some odd reason, I’m still here.

I’m assuming you mean thread instead of forum. Even so, the Kongregate forum, which this thread is in, is for the very purpose of talking all things Kongregate in more specified topics (the threads) rather than a jumbled mess of everything in one thread.

So I’m going to lock this, as it’s like putting an outhouse in the bathroom. Not saying that the threads and the forum are where you drop a deuce, but… meh, that one got a little away from me.

I think this feature is (thankfully) limited to admins.

Unless there’s a userscript I’m unaware of, that is. Still, I don’t think I’d enjoy this feature being normal. I’d see it being abused far more than it’d be useful. Especially considering those games that post to your shouts with “Check out my yard/team/castle” crap. I’d rather not have those users shout spam me and everyone else on their friends list with stuff like that.

So you might be stuck just copy/pasting to each person. Sorry.
