I think there should be something you can build/hire to automatically collect drop offs and store them in your storage. I think I might have an idea for this.
Allow money to be found,
Allow money to be a component,
Allow players to hire a worker with the money (paid a certain amount every week)
The worker will collect the drop offs and store them in their correct storage,
At first, the worker will only be assigned to collect from two drop offs.(chosen by the player)
To ‘upgrade’ the worker, a higher salary is required
Every time the worker is upgraded, he will agree to collect and store from another two extra drop offs.
-Categorized in the production section?
-Adds to morale (comfort)?
-Will not be able to be physically seen
-If the drop offs are upgraded to level 4, the worker may request an extra pay (may think he is being a little overworked)
If money can’t be the appropriate choice, being paid by food or water may be necessary
I think this idea will be successful because players will not need to come back every 3 hours or so to collect their materials, therefore, receiving more in a shorter period of time
