Same issue as Kancsika and DocOnDrugs. Yesterday was Patch Tuesday, so would not be horribly surprised if all that threw something off.

Disappointing, really. My Halt should have finished re-kindling by now, but can’t get in to find out…

Update: Don’t know what changed, but my issue has gone away.

Topic: Realm Grinder / Export location for Chromebook

The save export sends itself to your “clipboard”, which is what copy (Ctrl+C/X) saves to, and what paste (Ctrl+V) prints from.

In other words, when you export your save, you need to open a text file and paste your save quickly, before you forget and inadvertently copy something else which replaces the clipboard content (your exported save goes poof).

Why yes they are! Surprise! I find it a useful feature for general web browsing.

“Please enable them and refresh…”
I’m not going to blanket enable them, as this game is not the only place/thing I go/do on the Internet. On the other hand, if someone were to state which site I need to make an exception for, such that the game will run normally if an exception is made for its 3rd party cookies…

Honestly, it would be beneficial if upfront in the game description (at the bottom, say) there was a statement along the lines of: “You must accept [third party] cookies from [this site] in order to play this game.”

Topic: Mini Heroes / Incubator bug

Having just hunted around on the likwid forums for Mini Heroes, I found a possible solution (which worked for me, at least):

Go into your home stash, and remove all the stored eggs of the same type you’re hatching. (I took out all of my stashed eggs, to be on the safe side). Then refresh and re-login, and it should hatch now.

Quoting from the likwid forums:

I’ve got the exact same problem, though it’s a Hatchling Cootie egg in my case. It’s been at the “Click to finish hatching.” stage for at least 12hours, probably more like 15-18 now.

It’s unfortunate, but I’ve decided to quit even trying to play this game. For awhile, it would work in the morning, but I just couldn’t log in for WB or tourney. Now, this is my 2nd day of being unable to log in at any time of day. It was fun playing, but what choice is there but quitting, when you are unable to even login?

Topic: Star Era / Regarding Common Zone Card Completion %s

I have been exploring the Common locations, and filling out my completion rate for each location. But, there has been a problem. Specifically, in locations starting with City, collecting all of the cards for each visible card slot is no longer enough to get 100% at the end.

City has 10 areas with 4 cards in each, but 40 cards nets a 97%.
No. 3 Mobile Troop also has 10 areas with 4 in each, but those 40 cards also only get you a 97%.
Military Area has 15 areas with 4 in each, but 60 cards results in 98%.

I haven’t finished exploring Desolate City, but am guessing the results will be similar.

40 / .97 = 41.237~
60 / .98 = 61.224~

The question is, therefore, are these rates bugged? Is there a single (extra) card hidden in one of the areas? Is this somehow related to Floor Level, and a new card slot will mysteriously popup in an area when the Floor Level gets high enough?

(For the record, my City is Lv2, No.3 Mobile Troop is Lv2, and the Military Area is Lv1. Still 4 card slots per area.)

I think what the game takes into consideration, but you are not, is how difficult it is to acquire “all that you might want” of the ingredient items. Job drops can only be gained by yourself, with your own energy, so getting up to 2k of 2 different job drops is quite time consuming. Stockpile items are a non-issue, as you just need cash, and everyone has gobs of it. Gifts require you to rely on other people, but if you stay active and have a wishlist of only the specific item, it shouldn’t take too long at ~100 gifts per day.

Topic: Technical Support / Indelicate Text Shortening

Taking a 2nd look at it, it occurs to me that with an icon that looks to be a hand apparently offering money, that makes the name foreshortening even worse.

If you can’t have it show even just 1 more letter, perhaps you could change which badge is featured instead? I mean, the game has 4 badges associated with it, just pick a different one to advertise the game with, for the front page?

Not really sure where to put this, but…
I loaded up the main page just now, to see a blurb on the Featured Games about the soccer game and its badges:

I realize that the “problem” is with the text being too long and being foreshortened, but perhaps you could convince it to cough up another letter prior to the elipsis?

At most 10 minutes after we, Lucky, (re)claimed a fortress in Otium on Eloir, there was a spam of 4 fortress lost messages, with no names listed. We quickly discovered that the fortress in Ascia City we had owned had reverted to unowned.

I took a screenshot of the fort lost message spam, while looking at the newly lost Ascia fort.

No, no one moved during this time. Yes, this needs fixing… immediately.

so, you said you lost fortress in 30-60 level, did the players who was scheduled to defense has move to another region? so that you lost fortress in that place.

I was fort commander for the Lucky’s fort in Otium, on Eloir. Every slot on the defense was filled. No one moved. The fort still reverted to unowned, for inexplicable reasons.

I seem to recall the 10-30 capitals giving a max of 240 gold per click. The 30-60 capitals increased that max to 480 gold. It only makes sense (to me, anyway), that the 60-80 capitals would increase that number further. Say… 720 gold per? Seemed like the progression, given the lower capitals gold increase.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Shadowland Online] Sanctuary Quest kicked me out

As i recall, the in-quest maps for both quest 32, and quest 33 had a listed time limit of 6min. I also recall that those time limits were enforced at 6min. The Elder may have told you you had 10min, but he’s clearly getting up in age, and not always clear on specific numbers anymore.

If you’re not taking much damage from fights, then you need to stop watching the fights, and just skip them, ie “Stop” button in the replays. That should help you have the time you need. On the other hand, I recall a few of the early 30’s quests simply did not have enough time, per try, for you to collect all chests, kill all monsters, and finish the quest. Collect the chests first, come back finish the quest after.

This is at least the 4th time (I can immediately think of) that my alliance on Eloir has lost control of a fort we owned, for incomprehensible reasons. We’ve made bug reports about it in every case, complained on the forums about it, etc. I have yet to see any difference/fix made in this regard.

Honestly? I’m starting to lose rationale for continuing to play this game due to this and other alliance-related issues. Game’s fairly fun on its own, but being a part of a good, strong alliance is what makes TH30+ anything less than painful. With alliances being as buggy and unreliable as they are now, the desire to continue playing just keeps draining away…

My alliance on Eloir had a problem exactly like this. We received no recompense for it. At best, you’ll probably be able to take a fort after you are unable to claim the capital, and it reverts to unowned for a day.
