Topic: Games / My beef with 99 blocks

Quickpaw, what you said has nothing related to this topic. If you’re just harassing one guy in every thread he posts…

The impossible badge is not buggy. What causes your tower to sway is the impact when every brick is put on. Holding down when your brick hits the tower makes a huge impact. Release the down key when the brick is about to land, and you’ll be surprised that it doesn’t sway so much. Also don’t let your tower have lines that are easy to be splitted, as it will only be worse when your tower starts swaying in the least bit.

I wouldn’t be able to build that high if it sways too much. It requires skills to prevent that.

I’m pretty surprised it didn’t even sway very much on the last few blocks lol

Topic: Games / Zrox 2nd Hard Badge

Go through the whole normal levels again to gain familiarity. I’ve played it on newgrounds before it was uploaded on kong, and just ran through it again today here. It really helps.

Another point that would probably make some people frustrated: Type fast.

Topic: Games / z rox.......god damn easy

Just got the 2nd hard badge. It really requires you to be familiar to the shapes and type fast. I admit I used walkthrough on some levels after 60, some like “anarchy” are so rare in Asia I haven’t seen one in my past 20 years.

For the “chess” one, I guessed that myself lol. I got accepted with “chessboard” and later found that “chess” is also accepted.

Papa’s Pizzaria Hard Badge – Impossible

I think the only reason I had the patience to complete it is that there were no Monsters’ Den nor Ballon Invasion at that time…

To those who had a hard time in the beginning of hard:

I think these 2 images is enough hint. I finished hard without juggling.

EDIT. Sorry I wasn’t really familiar with pics embedding codes.

Topic: Kongregate / Where can I report cheaters?

8/21 Thursday, same as the day I achieved them (and the card). I have a habit to collect new cards the first day they come out, so that’s 99.9% likely the day badges were put on.

That happened on my account too. If you achieved all 3 of them before the badges were on, it looks like this. Sorry, but we can’t really tell if he’s cheated.

Man, you certainly didn’t realise what a “hard challenge” is. You know what is the requirement of Thing-thing4’s challenge? “Finish the first boss on level 14.”

Topic: Kongregate / what is the hardest badge?

The most important point of Ragdoll Invader is that all enemy fires are aimed to your current position. Bombs will be a little off-track, but mostly the same. The main method of dodging would be moving just a little at a time, and let bullets get pass you near. Flying around like crazy won’t do you any good, because the weird control of ragdoll will mostly make you screwed up. You can miss some small hearts, but make sure you get big hearts from bosses. They give you lives equal to the number of level (eg. 4 lives on the 4th boss). You’ll eventually get many lives on later levels (20 on the last boss in my case), it’s safe to lose some.

As for SCGMD, I’ve got some experience from other music games (DJMax and StepMania), so that’s not very hard for me. I started working on SCGMD3 the day it got uploaded, and got all songs perfect after a week(when badges were still not on).

So far I found ZunderFury the hardest for me. Haven’t really tried Max Mesiria impossible though.

Topic: Games / Warlords: Heroes gladiator guide

Just got the badge using Toldor, starting from stationary spearman (I found him the hardest for me with unknown reason). That pattern makes the ending 2 longswordmen.

I think I got some luck in fights of the swordsman and the stationary whirler. I used the “attack then go back” tactic against the swordsman (wave 6), gladly he didn’t give me very much damage. Then I stand still exchanging damage with the stationary whirler (wave 10) and succeeded. The only difficult part was the battle against the halbardier (wave 11). I blocked and kicked when he passed me. Still suffered from his kicks and some strange slice-after-a-kneebreak-sound ’s.

I don’t think the badges were put on before the update though. That would be extremely unfair.

Topic: Kongregate / All these new impossible badges acomplish is more cheating

moomoomoomoo: You are too noob to even know there was a Kongai beta so just keep quiet. – NicolBolas

Hmm… you’re involved in those “flaming people” you know. Do not deny that.

To make this post less flame-looking, I’ll give my point again. Hacking is not related to the difficulty at all. Whatever the difficulty is, they hack anyway. Recent impossible badges are not harder than older ones like ZunderFury or Max Masiria ch2. Saying impossible badges are ridiculously hard just make you look noobish, as they ARE meant to be ridiculously hard.

Agree with Fireseal. It’s especially frustrating when you’re killed by a kick you blocked. Also there are some times when you clearly hear the sound of knee break on a kick, the enemy still turns around and bash you without affected.

Flaming personnally after your logic bubble has been burst? Great skill.

ThirdParty is correct, but I don’t think it’s NicolBolas’ point. I don’t think there’s much admins can do though. It’s actually developers’ responsibility to prevent their game from CE hacks.

The cheaters kicked the difficulty into ridiculous levels, Greg not realising that no difficulty is a match for cheating software: the people who play clean suffer. – NicolBolas

It’s pretty ridiculous since so many gamers said Necronomicon and Pandemic 2 are the easiest impossible ever.

Weird. I managed to get all the latest impossible badges except the new one and Vector Runner, legitly. The next recent impossible badge unachieved is Tarnation.

Topic: Kongregate / Kongregate should have EMAILS!!!

You got them wrong Panda. It’s not that we get spamming emails, but others getting spamming emails from whatever @kongregate.com. Who knows what some trolls would do after they get that email address. It would definitely be a shame for kong if trolls send spams or even shock site links to non-kong users around the world using these addresses. 500 points are not really that hard to get, you know.

Topic: Kongregate / Kongregate should have EMAILS!!!

I don’t see such a nessesity. Why would you need another email address if you already have one when you register?

Also, an email account for everyone = more space needed on kong’s side. And some other reasons Jabor has mentioned.

Necronomicon. Pandemic 2 took me quite some tries, including a damn 101 day record. Monsters’ Den’s easy too.
