new base buildings

reverse engineering
anything you can find you should be able to recreate and this building would let you do that, orignal item is not destroyed in the process but the process might not work, once done you can build them, higher level building improve sucess rate, scucess rate is based on item lvl vs the building tier

power generator
this one is easy, reduce tick time by 15 secs per lvl so at lvl 10 your getting 1 energy every 4m 30 secs

teleport booster
this one would lower the energy needed to enter complexes by 5% per level, would have to have a notice attached to let people know that you would likey need 2 levels a time to notice the diffrence (10 – 5% = 9.5, rounded up still = 10 so medium diffaculty is uneffected)

research center
lower the time needed for all research by 5% per lvl

production center
lower the time for all production by 5% per lvl

construction center
lower the time for all building construction by 5% per lvl

refinary
lower the resource needs for everything by 5% per lvl

component exchange
this one is a little tricky but the idea is this, exchange any 5 components for 1 component of your choice of the same grade, unless i’m mistaken there is 6 common and 6 uncommon components so you should alos be able to exchange 10 of all 6 of 1 grade compontent for 1 component of your choice of the next higher grade (yes it extreamly expincive for a reason. 3,600 common components needed for 1 rare component but it is a glimmer of hope for people that just cant find that 1 rare they need)

modification center
this is where you bring your equipment to make it better
first up you should not be stuck with the alt-fire a weapon came with (if it even had one) so this place would let you change that, also some weapons have added effects like slowing enemys on hit, why just some let us add these effects to the good weapons as well

on top of that we should be able to power up equipment to tweak the stats we want/need the most, 5% effect to the stat per tweak and 1 tweak per building level, not more than 5 tweaks per stat on any one item, doing this would take time and likely need components and the equipment would be un-usable for that time

complex changes

elite storage boxes need to have have “at least” 1 rare in them NOT COUNTING BLOODY DYE’S, it costs energy to open these, make them worth the time please

really need to be able change the camara angle

would be nice if you could go back to a mission in progress so if you were on floor 3/6 and used the teleporter to go back to base then the next time you could choose to carry on from there if you want

i have no idea if any of this is even doable but i think it would add to the game a lot if even half of these found their way into the game tho the one a really want is the mod center or something like it :)

i really think that limiting play by energy is enough limiting for one game, making it so you can go deeper into areas for harder enemys and better loot is great…… well it could be great if only you could have even the slightest hope of carrying all the great equips you find down there

ok so maybe i am running the speedy hover-tank setup with under 3,000 carrying limit but i cant even do 2 floors before i’m having to leave stuff behind, best carrying cap i can have at my lvl is about 3,700 and that’s with really poor defence and slow as hell

the best carrying cap in the game is a little over 6,000 and again it pretty poor defence and slow but if i can fill 3k in 1 and a half floors and already i can get access to 6 floor’s i would be needing closer to 12k to finish the lot

my point is that we need to be able to either :-
1) be able to carry more….. just more…… and a lot more at that

2) have equiped item not count to the carrying limit, i’m not “carrying it” i’m “built with it” but even then we still need to be able to carry more

3) have the vacuum transporters also let us send loot back to base and make SURE that there is a every second floor at the very least

4) totaly revise the whole carrying limit system so it not so restricting

i dont mind what way you go with this but since i have access to deeper floors i wanna be able to go there and not have to be picky with loot

ok so i have been trolled and i’m gunna feed you, sod it why not

from max HP on anything other than a tank you can be killed within 5 seconds by 1 full volly from 4 players at the same time, no matter how hard you try to can never see that comming and even if you can the same players are gunna kill more than 1 person neway so revive is still useless

as for damage buffing i’m not talking about trying to take on other players with 4-15k HP or mobs with up to 40k HP or even bosses with 80k HP i’m talking about trying to take out a heap of base defences with upwards of 100k HP each, the stacking damage buff was the only thing making raids really worth doing, even with it a solid team of 15 players could hardly dent a base let alone without it

the support class SHOULD NOT be just a healing platform, for the ammount of time your likely to still have ammo for in any given situation you can self heal and still have some kits left after all your ammo is spent, if supports are there just for healing then we really arnt gunna help as much as having another fully loaded raider in the mix

yes we can still add in some cases up to 1000 extra damage to a raider but they are already doing 4k without us so we take off 25% of the time needed to take out 1 defence and doing that will spend 1/3 of the slected raiders (non boosted) ammo stock so 1 raider would still be out of ammo before the first defence dies and that’s if you get no defending players what so ever and that’s highly unlikely so the chances are that any raid no matter what you take in is gunna end with just the base drones being killed if you can even get that far

now throw into the mix that the defending team could have the same ammout of ships of the same types at the same lvl area as your attacking with, you have some pvp fun and destroy nothing cuz you cant get in and by the time you do you have no ammo, any way you cut it those stacking buffs made it possable to do some damage before the defending party got orgnized 5 mins after you invaded and now we have lost that window to do some damage so back to my point at the very start

THIS PATCH HAS KILLED RAIDS

oh and not to mention that the drone misses more often than anything else in the game

cant supports have some love at least, i get it you want ppl to play in teams and not solo but come on if all we can do is heal other ppl then what good are we and dont even think about lowering the self heal kits back to what they were they are fine as is but supports need something better to do than heal ppl

also i see the timer for revive hasnt changed yet either, i have said this before and i’ll say it again (unless big boom is going to be used) YOU CAN NOT PREDICT 5 SECONDS BEFORE SOMEONE DIED THAT THEY ARE GOING TO DIE AND IF YOU CAN THEN YOU CAN HEAL THEM revive cooldown can be whatever the hell you like to be honest but the EFFECT MUST BE 1 min or more AT THE VERY LEAST

ok so you have taken away the most effective weapon on raids, that stacking attack and instead made it so adding more attack buffs resets the timer back to 10 seconds and not adding another 10 seconds to the time like the patch notes say so not only have we lost the best raid weapon there was but we still cant power up more than 2 members at a time due to the time not being added and only reseting the timer

so then what you need to do now is give the game some kind of raid weapon that can deal big damage to static targets or you may as well take the indave button out of the game cuz going back to 2 hour raids to kill a few drones just isnt gunna cut it

oh and while your at it take the support class out of the game, YOU CLEARLY DONT LIKE IT NEWAY so just have done with it and we’ll all be raiders like good little players so you dont have to worry about balance any more cuz everyone will be the same based on lvl

you have not done the game any favors this time sublinet, i’m dissapointed in you lack of understand of how your own game works, just try playing it for real and see just how hard it really is to do anything on a raid, well without those buffs raids are back to being pointless again thank you for that

here’s an idea, just make the safty laser hotkey “1” then have 2,3,4,5 (YES 5) as the 4 (that’s correct 4) main weapons then have 6,7,8 (and guess what) and 9 as the 4 equipments

that works well unless you want to give us 5 weps and 5 equip slots of course

i know this belongs in suggestions but come on anybody that plays the game for more than 10 mins knows that 3 attack and 3 defence skills is FAR too limiting even early in the game let alone late stage gaming

just so you know as it stands now the key for it for me is the #/~ key all the way over by my enter key, not useful at all

well since everyone seems to want to flame Nix for having higher than the max guild points and think something funny is going on since seraphoenix got mod, i can say offically as a member of RAD guild that i know for 100% sure Nix guild has done nothing wrong at all, i know they been saving that uranium up for a huge build as RAD has been trying to get in their way of doing it for weeks

RAD should be the most annoyed about this as we lost something we worked very hard to get as quick as we could, but we didnt lose it to cheating, its a bug combined with tatical planning nothing more

there is not any cheating going on here they earned the uranium fairly and their guild points got bugged by no fault of their own

really they are good ppl playing a pvp game and their good at it, so a lot of ppl dont like them cuz they get hammered by Nix members, its a pvp game, dont like it go play something else

as for seraphoenix becomming a mod well that happened cuz (s)he is a very helpful person and no other reason

RAD and Nix are at war with eachother and yet members of both guilds still sometimes (all be it rarely) team up and fight bosses together without blasting eachother to bits

changes needed to missions

missions for gems

if you get a mission to find any gems you only get credit for it if the gem is of the right type AND OF LEVEL 0 FRAGMENT GRADE erm come on that cant be right can it

missions for quests

do a quest with 2 players, 3 players, 4 players, 5 players
yes thats all fine and great but other players dont want to waste their 5 quest credits with limited numbers so how about they change to AT LEAST 2 players, AT LEAST 3 players etc etc etc

missions cancel timers

this is a bit of an unknown area, nobody even knows just how long that timer is let alone how long a mission has left before you can cancel it, we know you can do time tracking so displaying a timer would be nice or better yet do away with it and just us just get rid of unwanted missions right away

also the skip text is still text, you did say you would make it a button for us but now i’m just being picky again

other changes

not sure how far along this is going but more and more unoffical alliances are forming it would be very nice if there was some way to have an alliance chat, i know you can have private chat’s and invite more friends to it so would it be possable to be able to invite whole guilds to a private chat so you could have 1 chat with multiple gulds in it – if needed remove galaxy chat for this, it is basicly useless neway

yes i agree whith cave1019 on this, pvp is where both players are shooting only, if you have not taken any aggressive action towards another player then you should be allowed to freely leave the area

yes i know that makes it loads harder to implement but a passive player should be seen as such and not forced to die a load of times being trapped without any hope of getting out

i do still think zero risk to EXP is a bad idea but its not my game

i like most of this except a see a problem with it
public announcement + defend button = mass pvp invite, all your going to end up with is every player intrested in pvp just hitting the defend or invade on the target guild and all hell is going to let loose
right now as it is you get enough random ppl joining the fight just by ppl talking about who is indaving who and when

having invastion publicly announced for now is a bad idea i think but also making the game evolve to accept alliances as a real thing should be looked into

a good thing for announcements would be just like freindly quest invites, as soon as a guild member hits invade the game throws out a “your guild is attacking xxx guild” just like it does when someone attacks your guild so your members know something has started and they can join in, to add to this with the new (when it happens) alliance system this notice should also go out to all ally guilds as well and have the “your HQ is under attack” also give out a “your ally’s HQ is under attack” with an aid defence button attached to it

lets go a little more with alliances (lets be honest its only a matter of time before they become fully intergrated into the game so lets give it a head start)
we need to be able to give uranium to other players or guilds, i know there is a world of ways to abuse this system but we have to take the good with the bad, this is needed, alliance guilds need funding to grow and other guilds cant keep moving members back and forth all the time to move money and if a player wants to join a guild that is at its cap but they are willing to pay for their spot the guild should not have to boot a member to let them in so they can do it
yes your gunna get scammers and theives all over the place but your also going to get guilds buying their freedom for a price and smaller guilds being able to band together and become stronger

i have not put this into the suggestions thread because i dont want that topic to be taken over with any arguements that this could and likely will cause

ok now i have had my rage let me explain how this should be done

NO LOSS OF EXP FOR HQ AREA AT ALL
if you die defending your guild HQ or attacking another HQ you should be 100% safe from exp loss, to have exp loss in either attacking or defending HQ’s would ruin everything about raiding so just leave it alone

NO LOSS OF EXP FROM ARENA FIGHTING AT ALL
arena fighting has it’s own points systems and it should be used to earn and lose those points only
i personally think that you should not gain EXP in arena fights either but if people want it then so be it
earning uranium by arena fighting is perfectly fine

ok that deals with where EXP should not be lost, as for everything else this is what needs to be done
every time you die on normal or boss maps you should lose either 5% of the EXP you have towards your current level or 1% of the total EXP needed for the whole level, pick either one of them or use both and have the lesser of the 2 effective depending on current EXP BUT NEVER ALLOW A LEVEL DOWN

so everyone thinks i have gone mad at this point, i havent, i just see where the current EXP trend is leading and it will not be a good place to be at all, charater lvl 50 is basicly meaningless without techs to support it and if the players are able to level up to the max in a month they will do just that, but know this you can not do 4 months of research in 1 month, being 3 months behind would make your choice of ship and equipment so weak that you would find it very hard to cope with any task you try to take on

a risk of losing some EXP if your are playing outside your power range isnt really going to stop anybody from carrying on how they are right now but losing EXP to a few deaths will slow their leveling a little bit so their research would have a chance to catch up while they are still able to pay for it

if you dont like this way to dealing with EXP loss feel free to come up with another one but i very strongly feel that exp loss is needed in this game to the point where the game itself may even be doomed to fail without it, that is a very worst case but if ppl get to lvl 50 and have nothing else to do but wait for their research to catch up they’ll lose intrest fast

honestly, just how fast do you want ppl to get to lvl 50

this has got to be slowed down or controled somehow
always gaining EXP from everything you do and never any risk of losing any of it

all we are going to end up with is an army of players in G6 and G7 with nothing better to do than sit there and look at eachother while waiting for research to tick by so they can get out of their lvl 38 equipment or worse

this isnt a good thing, there needs to be EXP risk and it needs to happen soon

if ppl dont stop earning 25k exp a day in under an hour before their even think about what their doing they are gunna be lvl 50 in no time and only logging in to update research cuz they cant play

sorry ppl but we need EXP loss, we have everything else loss risk and EXP MUST join them

how about when a can of uranium is picked up it just splits it by all group members automaticly i cant really see that as being hard to do, hell the game can remeber if a uranium extractor has been used on a mob forever untill it dies (gotta love when a boss drops NOTHING due to this)

i also think the range of group benifits are far too small, having to be on the same screen is ok for bosses but out on the maps in some cases if your in the same screen your gunna get blown to hell when a phatt collector dies

so improve the range and make loot autosplit

i do agree it is annoying to be able to shoot other members reactors, i like being able to shoot the defences tho, good to be able to test them after setting them up but i can see how this could be very bad if your being raided, the last thing you want to be doing is helping your attackers

if your just popping in to you HQ like normal and not trying to defend it this problem can be self solved, 1 turn off the autofire and set it to click to shoot, 2 put on a targeted aid weapon like a heal bot or buff of some kind and have that weapon slected while in HQ, i know its not perfect but it helps

ok so i may have a slightly unbalanced view on the support class as i have put in a little money to get the best equip mine can use but then i did the same for my raider and trader and i dont use either of them any more, the reason i dont use them now is because support in my opinion is the best all round class there is

what does support have going for it

1)if set up correctly it has the highest solo damage output in the game ship+drone+buff(targeted to drone)+buff(self) .. you cant argue with all that lot added up

2)you’ll get invited to every mission, every quest, every party, every boss just for being a support class

3)you can attack without ever taking any damage or very little by using your drone

4)in pvp you can outlast anything since your damage does not really go down once your out of ammo and you move faster than most enemys

5) you can solo anything up to G6 with ease, bosses, any quest (except escort), any mob you choose (i cant get into G6 yet so dont know what it’s like there but hey only 1 proson can get in there at the time of this post)

6) their cost efficancy is off the chart, little to no ammo cost mostly no need to self heal and heal bots for your drone cost next to nothing and store 4 times more ammo than a gun

so few things come close to just how good they can be

so whats the drawbacks

1) low HP (but they do have high dodge)

2) hard to use, have to watch your drone and yourself at the same time(solo),you have to be on the ball and expect to get blamed if things go wrong (party) its not for everyone

3) sadly they are a star pit, their normal uranium equipment is ok for their team job as healers and buffers but if you want them to be any good alone the basic drones wont cut it (i know this is the killer and the reason there is so few of them around)
4) they dont really have gem’s the help them much, the dodge gems are ok but really if your using your ship right you not gunna get shot at let alone hit

i personally would have to say if you havent already tried it you should get some skills into support class cuz once you start playing that role you’ll soon find that doors to big exp and uranium farming partys will open up to you, just throw a few random heals about and you’ll soon find yourself in a party speed killing everything in your path, yes the ppl doing the killing will take the loot to start with but they should soon start passing it by and letting you have your cut

also to anyone having a support tail them dont forget they have to buy things as well dont be a hog or you might just find them cutting your life support and taking 5% of everything you have been picking up, you can get use to +1,200 HP or more per 2 sec and you’ll be killing so much faster with their help easy to die if they feel neglected on the loot side

i would like to add that i do not think supports should get exp for healing others for 1 reason, abuse, it can be abused no matter how you try to limit it and it would get abused and in a week we would have a ton of lvl 50 players that are broke with no skills and cant kill even the lowest mob that they can still loot and therefore their char would be ruined beyond recovery, yep it would be their own fault but it would still happen anyway

also with guild donations it would be nice to be able to pick where the funds go from a raid, right now it all goes to construction and you have no say in the matter
maybe you could make a 3rd guild fund wallet called “bank” and have it so the guild leader can place it to either cap or construction as and when needed
this way everything put into the guild would just goto the bank and the guild leader would sort it from there maybe members with creator or admin rights could also sort it

can we please have at least 5-10 seconds of invincability when spawning into enemy HQ, make it so we cant shoot for the time if you have to but for the love of god losing key members of a raid team to landing on the enemys defence is just hopeless

i’m going to start this off and people feel free to add other annoyingly named things that really need a change

1) in guild HQ the “quit” button, erm how about “leave HQ” or “exit” or just anything that does now make ppl think they are about to remove themselfs from the guild itself

2) in guild HQ in the lists for build and upgrade/move of HQ defences, just give this a total makeover so we can name them ourselves or at least tell them apart

3) on missions and in the market the xmas event names for the resorces are still there, its over 300 day’s till they will be needed again and lets be honset they are going to be called other things for other events before that times comes again, keep up please

4) happy hour…… right and i’m going to live to be 2,400 years old, then again i might live to be 100 and it be called happy day, its a pet hate of mine but if an event lasts a day its not called an hour long event

5) in mission window, when it becomes available “skip this step” it is not very clear and its not even in button form its just words you can click, how about a “cancel mission” button

these are the ones that annoy me the most

this might also answer where other peoples stars have been going but if not it is where mine have gone

i have no intrest in finishing a mission in advance for the cost of stars and i’m pretty sure nobody else does either

i have never perpously compleated a mission early and willingly paid stars to do so and yet since other ppl have been saying their stars have been going missing i have been watching mine and guess what

yes mine are going missing as well RIGHT AFTER I GET REWARD FOR A COMPLEATED MISSION

this has happened twice just since i have been watching my stars today (i’m reasonably sure its happened before as well but no way to know for sure) and i want it stopped

my advice on this matter is swap “finish now” for “cancel mission” and keep star usage away from missions compleatly, problem solved

also while fixing this check you logs and anybody that has finished any missions before the time of this post (no abusing it that way) by paying stars should get them all back cuz i cant see anyone in their right mind doing it by choice

i get it, you want us to spend stars but having the game take them due to a buggy system on compleat missions isnt the way to do it

if it was not for Lyghtcrye RAD guild would have only 1 YES 1 guild within 10% of our point instead of 2 THATS RIGHT 2 guild, oooooo the fun we could have with out options LIMITED TO ATTACKING 2 GUILDS

forgive me but RAD got to max points racing with 8-bit WHILE Lyghtcrye WAS STILL A MEMBER of 8-bit and not RAD, from what i understand we offered him a more activve guild to play in so he joined us

back to the main point tho, with only 2 guild to raid i think we would get pretty bored, all make alts lvl them up in a load of 3 member guild with sod all point and attack as the same force as we do not without restriction, conclustion = restriction is pointless at best and could totaly ruin the game

do you guilds even know how long an avrage raid takes, its sometimes over 2 hours, if you cant mount a reasonable player defence in that time you dont derserve to have the guild you have built in the first place, as i have already said it’s a numbers game on pvp, we gotta be in there for ages to do any real damage, gather your members and fight us off, 1 lvl 20 cant kill a lvl 30 yes that’s right but what about 3 of them, 4 of em more than that, you only need to kill us one time and we cant get back in for a while and most often we dont hit the same guild 2 or 3 times in a row neway cuz every time we go back there is even less we can do so it becomes more pointless for us

i’ll take DARPA as an example here, we been raiding them lately, they mount a decent defence if they are online but even if they dont their placement is darn near untouchable to us now and they are 27,000 points lower than us and WE CANT BEAT THEIR DEFENCE so yes we would have loads of fun with a guild less than 2810 points lower wouldent we

boot your inactive members and get some players in your guild or form up with another guild that is active
if you can build defences you can afford some members slots to start a bigger guild

i cant stop the game makers doing what they feel is right for the game but as a paying customer i have to say i would be very upset with limiting systems like this 10% higher/lower points thing
