also ace combat and AC 2 on ps1 were some of the first games I played but back then the best game was twisted metal 2

for this gen [360 wii ps3 etc] would be hard to say

I think i would have to say Bioshock

but there of tons of games on last gen and even older consoles that are totally worth playing still even today
