yeah, i thought about it but then it’ll make each time the user load the game fully again with no automatic caching from the server. But I don’t think that’s the problem though since it works on some machine and not on others. That’s what baffles me.

Hi guys,
My game uses two swfs and usually they work just fine when I’m updating the swfs. But I just found out that sometimes on other people machine (my collaborator) the updated swfs doesn’t show up and he still getting the old swf.

I checked everything, including the URL for the swf that the Kong sent, I’ve cleared the browser cache many times but nothing works. His still gets the old version of my game while on my machine I already playing with a new swf.

Is this a common issue? How do I make sure that everytime i update my swfs, users will always get the new version

Topic: Kongregate APIs / purchaseItemsRemote callback never gets called

Hi,
I managed to follow all these steps described in this documentation (http://developers.kongregate.com/docs/all/dynamic-item-orders-api) on how to do dynamic item orders up to the point where i can test everything and my server can handle the callback just fine. I can see the requests and handle it properly on my server.

The only problem is the client side, purchaseItems/purchaseItemsRemote should call a callback function which in my case never gets called ergo my client can’t do the refresh or gets notification that the transaction is completed.

Is there something wrong? During the test using my account, the price is 0 and i got to the checkout stage just fine and kongregate shows a window that the purchase is completed.

Here’s a simple code on what i do :

Topic: Kongregate APIs / No signed request error from Kongregate API

Actually I just figured it out, it has something to do with my callback not giving back the right JSON. So everything’s cool except that how come the purchase callback function never gets called?

I’ll experiment around abit before asking stupid question again :)

I followed these steps based on this docs: http://developers.kongregate.com/docs/all/dynamic-item-orders-api
Take a look at the basic PHP example at the end of the docs.

Basically it says, i need to setup a callback URL that can handle the signed request sent by Kongregate item orders server. The steps should be simple :
1. My game call purchaseItemRemote with the order_info
2. Kongregate API will then call the callback URL with a signed request and if I handle them properly it should be fine.

I checked my server logs and the kong api did call the callback URL but without any signed request ergo my callback script can’t do anything about it.
UnknownGuardian, are you with the Kongregate? If you are, I can give more details on what happened through private message.

Hi guys,
I’m trying to integrate the dynamic item orders API, I’ve setup the callback url on my server and test the API call that Kongregate provides.

It looks pretty simple but I always get this error : No signed request on my server. I’m using the kongregate.php that you guys provide in the documentation.

I checked the call’s order_info and it seems everything’s in order. Can someone help me to track what’s wrong ?
