Topic: Serious Discussion / 8yr old kills father and renter
If ignorance was an excuse for crime then prisons wouldn’t be over crowded right now.
If revenge was the solution to everything, the world would be a horrible place.

Topic: Serious Discussion / Shocking survey... (Teen sex)
This is about losing virginity not having sex. Then you look at how many people lose it at 15, you have a pretty small percentage which you then halve. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / God, the Bible, and religion - a Kong search for truth I had a friend like that untill his mom confronted me and said she wanted me to stop hanging out with him because I was a bad influence. (I had a dirt bike and she thought that was evil.) Also, she didn’t want him playing many games, among them Spyro the dragon, (an e rated kids game.) because dragons are creatures of satan. It’s funny how paranoid people become because they want to be “pure.” |

Meh, I have it and its ok. I used to play 3 and 3 is far superior to 5. Also, I signed up and played and it is exactly the same, but I doubt anyone will get bad because it is such a small game it is easily overlooked. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Super Genius It’s purely practice. also, the Duke TIP summer program is useless. It costs >500$ for like a week or two to do useless stuff. I had a friend who went and wanted to quit halfway through the program because of boredom. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Save the Yellowstone Wolf! Their going to remove the protection on them! I doubt they will go in and hunt them all down. They will just remove the endangered status, which means there are enough of them so they are no longer endangered. Yes, people will hunt them now but it won’t be nearly as bad as you say. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Lords of War and Money I think he was going more at the fact that all the units are the EXACT same and the castles are the same and the factions are the same, etc. It would be like as if masterchief looked exactly like the doom main character and all the landscape was the same. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / the large hadron collider will lead to the end of the universe, but not in the way most people think it will None of this can actually work because infinity is not a number, it is like saying cake = -cake because cake is cake even if it is negative. Infinity is just placed along with numbers because it encompasses all numbers. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Proposition 8 in California, 2008 That not what understanding is. Its like me saying that Multiple Personality Disorder doesn’t exist because i think it is fake. I can say I understand it because I know what the symptoms are, but do I really understand it? Or am I just making a claim off of an opinion? If you understood homosexuality, then you would know that is is more, much more, than, “I am tired of girls, hey I know, I should like a guy.” |

Topic: Serious Discussion / God, the Bible, and religion - a Kong search for truth There are many thing you do wrong that you forget to ask forgivness about, or don’t know it is a sin, or you thing you are doing the right thing. Does that make them any less of a Christian? |

Topic: Serious Discussion / God, the Bible, and religion - a Kong search for truth Ok even if that is true, (which it clearly isn’t because many Christians sin and don’t ask for forgivness,) it still says that only non-believers go to hell. Also, even if they are judged again, non-believers go to hell, unless they are given a chance to repent, which they are not for some reason. |

The first is just an exageration of Hitler, while the second can be one of many great men in history, like Ghandi. Also, the rest of your response has nothing to do with what I said. Doing bad things doesn’t make you athiest. Doing good desn’t make you Christian. How come is it that good people can go to hell for one tiny sin while others go to heaven that sin greatly? |

If you believed in god but tortured 10000000 people to death, yes an I’m sorry fixes it. But if you are a great person who doesn’t believe in god, it doesn’t fix it. According to this, god is a sick bastard. |

NO IT DOES NOT! (since you can’t seem to read my normal sized print, I’ll caps lock all my main points, yes I understand its a pain to read, but its a bigger pain for me to make the same point 10 times and have it “accidently” skipped.) God HAS THE ABILITY to PROVE to us that HE EXISTS WITHOUT having to PUNISH us in a cruel and unusual method. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / God, the Bible, and religion - a Kong search for truth As soon as they see god, they will be the child that runs back to his parents. Is it really that hard to see that we aren’t stubborn, we will be glad to say we are wrong, the thing it we won’t say we are wrong untill the opposite is right (seeing god.) |
