They said the dev known the problem, and the problem is caused by difference of calculating the building resource before and after the HQ defense lv changed (from max lv3 to max lv4). They are the 1st guild reached the NEW maximum building pt after the change. May be if Rad, X-III or 8-bit destroy some of thier HQ defense, then rebuilt them, the building pt will pass the OLD maximum pt.
They said the dev will fix this.

Version 1.2b – 23/01/13


  1. Support classes now have reduced life and attack damage (as they have high base dodge values)

  2. Guided Missiles: their damage has doubled and they also ignore shields.

  3. Explosive missiles : increased damage and cooldown reduced to 5s

  4. Lifesteal gun: Lifesteal value decreased

  5. Death ray: damage has doubled, no longer makes the screen shake

  6. Freeze Beam & Electromagnetic bomb : slight duration reduction

  7. Shielding buff (support): Increased absorption, increased duration and reduced cooldown

  8. Damage buff (support): Increased damage, increased duration and reduced cooldown

  9. Uranium extractor: no longer atracts aggro

  10. Automatic defense units: fires only once per second per player, making it less effective versus a unique player, no changes versus NPCs.

  11. Resurrection : cooldown reduced to 30s

  12. Cleanse: heal value increased

  13. Healing kit: doubled healing value

  14. Secure containers : cooldown reduced to 10s

  15. Godmode: cooldown reduced to 30s

  16. Life buff: reduced base amount and increased variable amount. Change does not affect tanks very much.

  17. Radar now is “Overclocking module”: it increases your CPU as well as your range.

These info are from French Forum, with translation
… with some update.

The damage of reactor weapons :


  • Laser (reflective fire) 1% x (RLVSLV + 5), minimum 1% of MHP

  • Cannon (2s CD) 2% x (RLVSLV + 3), minimum 2% of MHP

  • Missile (5s CD) 5% x (RLVSLV ) of MHP, not fired if SLV higher than RLV(!!)
  • RLV is the respective reactor (weapon) level, SLV is the attacking players’ respective reactor shield level, MHP is the max hp of the balanced ship at players’ level.
    (!!)there might be a missing +1 in the formula?
    .
    The drops of destroying a reactor are uranium with amount (5% of unprotected safe + 30% of conversion stock + $1000 fixed bonus), it said the unprotected safe portion can be up to 15%. No mention of the relationship between Looting and Anti-looting tech.

    These info are based on old version which might be outdated, just for reference.


    About Looting, if you are attacking reactor with team mate, I think it is better to let the one with highest Looting to deliver the coup de grace :)

Scenario :
A trader ship is rushing to a boss galaxy to collect resources, then a pirate ship appears and shots the trader ship. The trader ship is trapped to engage pvp fight or escaping to opposite side from the boss galaxy (if HQ escape is also blocked). But trader ship is supposed to be not for fighting.

Please make pvp combat establishing by return-fire, otherwise this rule is not favor to non-combating ship.

If this had not been mentioned before or elsewhere, the Guild Invasion reward (Uranium) should be assignable to HQ Construction or Guild Capacity by creator or admin. And guild invasion should not be a secret operation, it should be notified to public as XXX Guild invading YYY Guild, so that, for example, the (unofficially)allied guilds can help to defense (or invade).

second thought:
There may be a [defense guild] button beside [invade guild]. Players entered the guild by [defense] button cannot do damage to guild defense, and vice versa. And they are temporally team with the members of invaded guild (but currently there is a limit of team capacity), so they are green-name-text for easy identify, same for invading team respectively.
If a guild member started/joined a invasion, his guild mates cannot enter with [defense] button, similar for defending situation.
If there is no invasion on going(no hostile players left in the guild), [defense] button is disabled.

I’ve 2 suggestion on countering vultures.
1. give boss a weapon, cooldown:10sec, target:every ship in boss region, damage:5% of target ship’s max hp ; firing condition : if boss has 95+% hp remain . This is a weapon, so no need to change current game mechanic. The firing condition force vultures to be alert but not doing nothing, while has less effect for those brave fighters come to kill boss.

2.If a ship teleport to HQ from a boss area, the ship will be teleport to quest center (or somewhere) when it exit from HQ, if the boss area has a boss presented at that time, otherwise return to the boss area. (this avoid HQ inhibitor abuse in general too, but allow ship to refill reactor’s resource in HQ while collecting in boss area after it died)

It is the same for everyone.
There are other ways to get xp beside those minor mobs.
1. actively participate in boss killing, last I checked still got 200/250xp from g2 boss ;
2. do different type of quest with other players, repeated quest on the same day get lesser xp;
3. pick up resources with Trader ship (the amount varied or sometime none, don’t know the rule), this is biggest xp source as high lvl I knew (eg. I got >50% xp to lv24 just last 2 days by this way);
4. (may some higher lv players would share their idea.)

Checked that the damage of a lv4 Drone do is about 7.5% of target’s max hp. Forget about the class balance, the patch should make HQ invasion easier.

This is part of 1.1e patch notes
- Damage dealt by HQ buildings is now in % of attackers’ HP in order to favor number of attackers over level of attackers.

This make Tank Class ship even more useless, they’ll take more flat damage from HQ defense than other class, but worse healing power with media kit, and similar healing power with life buff (in term of % of max hp).

I think the bosses hit most players by some kind of reflexive shield, the reflexive shoot may be not affected by any disabling weapon.
Does the boss shot missiles (bigger damage)/cannon etc. under freezing?

What’s the hot key for default weapon?
From the view of my English version windows xp and us keyboard, it show a ‘superscript number 2’ [ ² ] in the default weapon button. But there is no key ² in a us keyboard.
Please set the Hot Key for Default Weapon to a common keystroke.

Adding Tracking Technologies.
These may be classified as miscellaneous, and including 2 technologies.

  1. Tracking Slot, each tech level add 1 slot, may be unlocked, like reactor, by each player’s 10lv. You start tracking a player by option from menu that pop up when you click his name from top right list;
  2. Tracking Power, this increase tracking range within same map and determined how high lvl the player above you that you are able to track. Starting range may be set as 30;

When you are tracking a player, the minimap will display this player’s mark(may be the slot number) when within the tracking range in the same map (exact same galaxy map if there are multiple galaxies). Optionally, higher tracking power may also provide extra info, like, which map the target currently located.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Nova Raider] Reactor is the Doomsday Weapon(in HQ)!!

Our guild had max out HQ construction, then one of our member left our guild before removing/teleporting out his reactors from our HQ.
Our HQ defense fired on these reactors, but reactor weapon’s damage is scaled with attacker’s max hp. Even max lvl missile turret’s hp is over 100K, they had gone in few 10’s seconds.

Please fix this by removing reactors (by the game system) before a guild member left a guild, or make HQ defense don’t attack any reactor.

I don’t know if it help. Try select 1st ship in Balanced class, it is called Training Pilote V. Then you should see 2 arrow in left and right side of the picture box. Try click the right arrow. You should see the Ripper ship with 9900stars price if you dont already own it. I think you can change the ship there if u’ve purchased the Ripper.

This lv11 player heal repeatedly +20hp inside galaxy 123 vs the boss, I check that there is no way regen hp like that except the main galaxy public regenator, which not inside galaxy 123.
I don’t think this is a bug that only happened to a specific player. Correct me if I’m wrong please.

I’ll post the name of this player if confirmed this is a cheat and the developer requested.

Hi. Here is an incomplete datasheet of Weapon, Equipment and Ship. Most data can be checked in game, beside, eg, ammo price, which is unknown till you got the gear and level.

I hope the developer don’t mind I reveal these, otherwise delete this thread please.

It is incomplete and work in progress, especially the ‘Strength’ (weapon damage/healing power/boosted hp amount etc.) is missing since the calculation is a bit complicated for me.
My goal is to make a page so that the Tech Level required will be shown according to what Weapon, Equipment and Ship you selected in the page. But my programming skill may not good enough to finish it, so if you are capable and interested, feel free to take my idea and make such a page.

This may be helpful to effectively build up your force.
