Unable to save games - different problem from usual
Problem solved!
Turns out that my Flash cache somehow got corrupted. Maybe because it hasn’t been emptied for the last year. I use the Chrome built-in Flash player, so I had to reinstall Chrome completely after emptying the Flash cache, and now everything’s working fine. Except that all my save games are gone, of course :’(

Unable to save games - different problem from usual
Thanks for the reply Zshadow, I did find that post earlier and my settings are in order. Unlimited storage for chat.kongregate.com and assets.kongregate.com, exceptions and third-party set, save games all still in the right place. Basically everything’s there, but I can’t update/overwrite old saves, and I can’t create new saves. E.g. I open a game, the save file is there, it loads, but I can’t update it with my progress. I click an empty save slot to try and create a new save, no save file appears. I refresh the game, it goes right back to the original save file, progress not saved.
I did mess with my computer clock a few days ago but it’s back to the right time now.

Unable to save games - different problem from usual
Beginning yesterday I haven’t been able to save progress on any games. The old save files are still present, but they aren’t updating, e.g. I went to play Frantic 3, completed 26 levels (it’s reflected on the badge progress stats) but when I reloaded the game later, it was back to the earlier save file with 23 levels completed.
I also successfully loaded a save file in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 but could not create a new save point from it, and autosaves are not being made either.
Not sure what is causing this as my computer settings have not changed, anyone can help?

Please improve the light when the game is 'at night'
What most people are trying to point out here is that (1) we shouldn’t have to change our screen settings to suit the time changes of the game (2) we shouldn’t be forced to use resource-heavy features like dynamic lighting to be able to play. For those people who are happy doing both, good for you, but just because you don’t mind doesn’t mean other people don’t.
Btw, those who can’t use dynamic lighting aren’t missing much. Dynamic lighting gives one very weak ‘spotlight’ in the middle of the area, gunfire flashes from survivors who are shooting, and total darkness everywhere else. I still have to do missions largely by memory at night.

Moving and attacking

This, so much. It’s especially irritating when I’m trying to evacuate a survivor who’s almost dead, try to get him to run behind the tank and instead he runs up and down madly in FRONT of the tank while the zombies pile on him from behind and he does nothing to defend himself.

Bug Report Thread
Found an interesting bug related to injury during missions. If you are in the green zone and getting swarmed with only a little bit of health left, and you leave while your survivor is still just alive, there will be a pause during which the screen turns black and you see the message that the survivor has been incapacitated. Later, the mission report will say that 1 (or however many) survivor was injured, but in the personnel screen that survivor is actually okay and not even suffering morale loss.

Pathing problem on missions, I got a survivor stuck between a shelf and a wall in a warehouse and couldn’t move him anywhere. Red x on floor no matter how I clicked.

Agreed, it has gotten WAY darker at night than it used to be. Turning dynamic lighting on helps some though.

Zombie running through walls?
The blue squares when you’re moving an item? The ones with white footprints on them indicate the paths available for zombies and survivors to move. Both zombies and survivors can walk through diagonal paths. To cut off a diagonal path you have to put barricades such that the parts without surrounding white footprints overlap, i.e. no diagonal path left. Kind of hard to describe but you can test configurations by barricading the route to a pile of junk and then making your survivors clear that pile. If they can walk to it they will take the path there, if not they will just stand in place making clearing movements.

Game Suggestions
I was surprised that SP doesn’t refill on levelling up, especially given the enormous cost of moving around. Putting that feature in would be nice. Heck, take it further and allow the unused SP to roll over between levels – that would go a ways to addressing the problem other posters have brought up.

Are Kongai cards ever coming back?
It’s been so long since Kongai cards were put up as challenge rewards, I can’t even remember why they stopped. Are they ever coming back as rewards? It was pretty awesome unlocking the artwork back then. And I haven’t completed my album either…

Kongregate ad causes music to play randomly on my computer
Right, EXACTLY as I posted this, two ads came up above and below and that horrible music started. One is the Warcraft ad and the other is an Amex ad. I shut the tab and after a while of repeating, the music cut off. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THIS!

Kongregate ad causes music to play randomly on my computer
The first few times this happened I thought it was a virus! Out of nowhere while I was on Kong, I’d get this sudden burst of guitar riffs repeating over and over again. Nothing would stop it except rebooting. I spent a whole week debugging and finally realized that it was only happening when I was on Kongregate. Did a bit of reading and apparently repeating music even after the browser is closed can be caused by an error with Flash programming.
I think one of the ads on Kong may be malfunctioning, would really appreciate it if someone can look into this . The unstoppable repeating music is insanely irritating.

Games load but don't work
OK, I think I figured it out. I had Flash storage settings at 100 MB but apparently this wasn’t enough for the affected games. Only after bumping it to unlimited did the games work. I’m not too comfortable with the idea that a Flash game needs to store more than 100 MB locally just to run…

Games load but don't work
Some games are sticking at the start screen for me. They load, the dev credits roll, the sound plays but then the game just stops at the start screen and nothing works. E.g. Papa’s Burgeria loads all the way to the screen with the Play button, and mouseover of the icons/buttons shows the animation, but clicking the buttons does nothing. Hostage Crisis and K.O.L.M. are also doing it. Same thing on both Chrome and IE. Clearing cache, updating browser and Flash, refreshing all don’t help. Most other games work fine and I see other people getting the badges on these three, so I’m guessing it’s something to do with my computer but I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone can help?
