I would only accept 100 or 200 cheese for a cost if there was a way to modify or observe people playing our maps. As a first time map maker, my first map was downvoted and I had little reason why. The cost is 20 cheese right now to give people a low barrier of entry and to allow everyone to be able to make maps, not just those of us who grind cheese. 100-200 cheese is a lot for a casual player who just wants to make a map they think will be fun for others.

I actually enjoy the fact that instead of the same boring premade levels, we get to play original ones every other map. Yes, there are those who make maps just to troll, however, there is a voting system to vote down these maps. Every time you downvote a bad map that person will have just wasted 20 cheese.

I say keep the system the way it is. Voting will weed out the bad maps leaving good maps who’s reputation will only grow.

There needs to be a way to test your map with other random people easily. Testing it in the wild somehow to see how easy/hard it is and what people are complaining out your map.

Basically, a way to test the map with more people than just yourself.

I love this game (except for switching/intercepting which is not fun at all). I wish there was a game like this but without all the luck/coin-flip type mechanics. I’ve never found one that has the production/art value of Kongai. Still, I rarely play anymore because of the unfun switching/intercepting mechanics.

The power of amaya lies in inescapable shadow curse spam combined with low cost chi blast and dont forget ninja port. Nerf needed tho? Not sure because she is countered heavily by crane and spyglass

The reason I’m asking is because cc is affected by shadow curse and deafening crack. And lowering % chance to hit is lowering stats…. which should be prevented by cc innate. I don’t care it’s op’d or not; I just want the facts.

SR is not an issue. Look at an argument without skill rank prejudgments. Dismissing someone’s ideas because of a faulty imperfect ranking system like SR is intellectually dishonest. Argue ideas, not egos.

Removing luck doesn’t make the cards all vanilla. Perhaps adding in other mechanics that don’t involve a RNG would not only keep the game interesting but allow people to create different strategies that wouldn’t backfire on them because of some stupid 5% to fail anomaly. No game that seeks to be a competitive multiplayer game should have luck as a major component. Yes, 5 and 10% chances to miss is a big deal considering that there are really no benefits besides consistently worrying that the game will screw you over for no reason other than you’re trying to play the game. Besides, having skills that have low hit % but will rape you if they do hit is not a good game mechanic. Why not just have a button that has a 1% chance to give you the win every time you press it?

Remove missing, crits, 50% chance to poison, attacks that increase missing. Leave switching, interrupting. Change items that are nerfed because of the change.

One of the main reasons pokemon the card game is so stupid is because of coin flips.

Most people don’t like that they lose because of uncontrollable circumstances (yes, even when they could have chosen a card that has 100% instead of 95%), people like the illusion of control. Leave switch and interrupt even though sometimes they’re just as good as a coin-flip because it defines the game. Some luck is good, but as it stands there is a bit too much.
