Reopen your ticket and kindly inform them that as you are a kong player, you do not have an account on the R2 forums, but that kong DOES have a Wartune forum, and that it would be much more beneficial for all KONG communication to go through the KONG forum. Then link it to them. You can also let them know that there isn’t any info for Kong players on that link you were given…. smh.

If this doesn’t help, complain to Kong using the Contact Us button at the bottom of every Kong screen. The whole reason kong has a community forum is so that you can play games on their platform without having to make accounts on competitor’s platforms to get information about the game. (that and to grow the kong community) So if you have to make an account on another gaming site’s platform in order to be helped, I think Kong might not take kindly to that, and rightly so.

I have been informed by R2 Games that they no longer require player mods for the Kong forums, but that all contact with R2 games will go through Support, or on the R2 forums or I imagine you can contact R2_Storm or R2_Support, they will be asking R2 to remove moderator status on the player mod accts shortly. I have a number of ticket issues that I was following up on for players here, and am going to pass those along to the moderators of the R2 forum.

I want you to keep in mind several things with the changes that are going to come with this…

This is Kongregate, and you should not EVER have to open a link to a non Kong forum to get info for Kong. If the team posts a link to the R2 forum and requires you to open that to read event posts, guides and the like, you should report that to Kong, it’s not what Kong is about, and it’s not why Kong allows Wartune to have a forum in the first place.

If posts are deleted here by an R2 person, that is against Kong rules, we are to hide posts, not delete them. I imagine Donseptico will still be listed here as a Kong mod, if Kong doesn’t decide to keep me as a Kong only mod as well, and we will be able to see if a post was hidden, why it might have been, and if it was not breaking any kong rules, you should complain to Kong about that. I know some of the rules on R2 are different and there are things you can’t post there, but you are allowed to post them here and I expect you to exercise your rights, even if that means going to Kong.

Myself and the other mod have worked hard, and even sometimes without being given a head’s up on posts needing to be made, we did our best to ensure they were posted here in as timely a manner as we could. I can tell you I’ve missed out on world boss, I’ve missed out on Class Wars and runs with teammates sometimes because of needing to post something first. I’ve made my teammates wait while I posted something, or while I was talking to someone from R2, or while I was helping a player connect etc. You’re not going to have that anymore and I can tell you that you need to keep these guys on their toes.

I do not know if they plan to read every thread on here, or to reply to messages, follow up on tickets or really do anything more than just post events and announcements. You’ll have to find that out yourself.

What I can say, is that if you are really really stuck, grab a mod from R2 forums, and ask them for help. They’re really good people.

You all know that I had said I was going to be leaving… I’ll go ahead and tell you why now. I had an issue myself with a ticket, in which I opened 12k worth of gem packs to mail, and while R2 can account for 3k worth of them, they can’t find the rest. This means they could not go to the devs asking for them to be returned, the ticket was handled poorly, and even after a year and a half of volunteering for them, I was left feeling like I was being accused of lying.

There was a time, when even without proof, you could have R2 go to the devs and say, but the [item] is missing, and we can’t find it, but we do know it’s missing cause it’s no longer there. Then they could get the devs to send it, I do not think that is the case any longer, and without “proof” players are being left without help. I have been able to help players in the past many times with issues like this, lately, I haven’t been able to. I can’t even help myself, so continuing to mod made me feel like a hypocrite and a charlatan. I knew that I could attempt to get help for you, but that in some cases there was no help to be had, even though there really should have been, and in the past, there had been. I don’t like feeling helpless like this, and I don’t like pretending to be useful here when up to that point, I had been but after it was clear there really wasn’t much more point in me remaining when I couldn’t help you guys any more. What was keeping me here was a few loose ties, the hall of fame issue, and recently, being told by R2 that they first don’t want me to go, and second, they have the devs trying to find out what happened to the missing items, and maybe, just maybe if they can help me with them they can also help you guys when it happens to you. For that alone I was gonna stay, helpless to help you or not.

I still have contact with R2 via our chat, and plan to still follow up on that, but I have been asked, as has the other mod, to cease all moderating on the Kong board. So my goodbye is set in stone now, I’ll let you know that while some of it was frustrating, a good deal more was very rewarding.

(those of you in my emails right now, don’t worry, I’m passing all your stuff to other mods to follow up on)

A word about the trolling… some of it is harmless and intended to be lighthearted and fun, you would always see me leave that up, as I consider that if you can’t have fun on a gaming site, then where can you… Some of it stepped over the line and recently I was removing any posts between some players if they addressed each other at all, if you can’t play nice together, don’t play together I say. I hope you guys can grow up and just ignore each other, it’s not fun playing mommy with you and with no one going to be around to do it, you’re only going to destroy this forum for those who like how it was.

As to how it was… this forum truly has been awesome. I’ve been proud often that some of the best guides, most useful info etc, has been on this forum and not others. I have to shout out in the old days to players like Alveolate who were always giving out awesome info, current players who are active on the forums with gameplay advice, players like Hockeystar who went above and beyond to give you guys info on the other version of the game, Kong totally rocks guys! I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Love a ton of the people on my server, and who I’ve talked to from the forums, you guys really do rock!

What am I gonna be doing? I dunno… If you find a good game on kong feel free to let me know about it. I’ll probably hang around as a non mod for a bit in here trying to keep them to their word on fixing the items gone missing issue, and making sure that the existing tickets are followed up on by the other mods, but apart from that, I’ll probably be bored soon and need a new game, so I’m up for invites from you guys.

try disabling hardware acceleration in your flash, you can right click on the game, then click settings, click the button on the very left tab that looks like a monitor, and make sure the box is unchecked.

more details please, on what you bought and when you bought it. Something like this can be looked into in a ticket to support as well, they can determine if you purchased qualifying items during a qualifying time. If you did, then I’d go ahead and create one using the GM button in game. Let me know if you don’t get a satisfactory reply.

While I’m sure Segi would be happy to do that, he has previously posted about being warned for cheating in the wilds shop, that puts him off the table for being a mod. On that note, R2 had some lastminutitits and had the devs take a look at the issue that was prompting me to leave, they havent seen it before and are investigating. On the off chance, that it will help players who have lost items that can’t be proven to be lost, I’m gonna stick around until that’s sorted out. And anyone who has had things that were supposed to go to mail, if you pm me with it in detail, they’re currently trying to duplicate the issue, I’ll give them as many details as I can. Fyr, I think you’d be one to send me some please?

you’ll have to check in battle, not just in the dungeon. HP is one easy way to do this, but you should also be able to get someone else to check. Don’t show a post with pots on one and not on the other though, I won’t be able to prove anything with that.

It’s still working in all dungeons, spire and tok is what I’m told. It doesn’t increase your stats until you start a battle, and you can have someone confirm this for you by checking your stats when you’re in a fight.

okay, it’s supposedly still working. When in tok, spire, DI or wherever you’re wanting to use it, it won’t actually increase your stats till you’re in a fight. (maybe their way to disable it for future br events?) You can test this by having someone check your stats after you enter, and tell you if they went up or not.

If this isn’t the case, feel free to send in a ticket, as, I agree, if you purchase something and they change what they give you, then you could rightly ask for compensation for the purchase amount.

yahoo’s toons were not moved to a main site, only their logins were. The characters are still on the exact same servers with the same people they were on before, it’s just it was more than one platform mixed, and some of them used yahoo to login. It’s like if you login on facebook to use kong, and all of a sudden fb dropped it, you’d need a new way to login.

The star rating on kong for games, is what’s used to determine if the game is recommended to other new players or not. Games that start losing their good ratings, don’t get promoted as much as others, so less new players try it. It won’t really affect R2 all that much for a while, but it would affect new population on the newer servers.

Squig… I dunno on the alphabetical… With English not being their first language, he might not have used that description in the way we think. That could easily mean you’re just on a list, not necessarily to be done alphabetically, but likely a priority of some sort.

Dave, there is a quest in your quest line that you have not yet completed. If you click on this:

It pulls up your quest book, and you can look through to see what ones you can complete, but until you do all the quests in the quest line, that won’t unlock, no matter your level.

I sent them screenshots from this thread Conan, it’s idiotic that they brush you off without even LOOKING at your proof. R2 has a hard time getting the devs to agree to stuff the devs don’t believe (which is my own issue on my own ticket) yet when you actually have proof they can shove in their faces… no, they need to at least stick it in their face and say player has proof, explain that please.

Your comment, on being made to feel like a criminal because they refuse to look into something you tell them, is exactly the reason I’m leaving. I pretty well blew up at them this morning over totally dropping the ball on customer service issues, and said that your ticket needs to be sent to someone who actually CARES. Still waiting to see that it was moved up…

I’m here till after all the prizes are handed out, cause I’m expecting a second wave of BS from it.
