well adding the narrative is a huge improvement rather than just opening up to links to the already existing threads! The changes you made, completely change my opinion, if you want to keep a running history here, rather than just pointing out other threads to read that’s great! but yeah, without the narrative, it totally sucked.

wow, most boring guide ever, why would we need to ever reference an update that has already happened exactly? If it’s a current event, it’s not quite history yet, so it’s still stickied to the top of the page. If it’s already happened, it is history, and truly, no longer matters to us. There are far more interesting things here to make a guide on, why waste your time on this?

you should still be able to click the same server buttons to access the different characters, one will be named “randomgamename-S5” and the other “randomgamename-S6” for example, and you will be given the option to change the names. Mind you, the one on the older server may not have the -S# after it… not 100% on that one just guessing.

heck why not merge them all into one server, it would be a hell of a lot more fun than it is now! We had estimated that we were at around 200 active players, including the ones running extra characters, guess it was even less. It’s to be expected that yes, they will merge dead servers rather than risk losing the players that are on them playing still and paying still. That they’d add a bunch of events to encourage the top ranked players to spend more to regain their status, and yes, open another new server for those who want to instead move to a new one and start over. So yeah, why not merge them all into one? Maybe the new one isn’t old enough but apparently it’s dead enough!

So, one from server 5 would only need to create a bunch of mock accounts, make a bunch of fake guilds with them with all the guild names from server 6 and all the server 6 guilds would need to change their names? Just because server 5 came first? Same with server 6 and 10? Wow, this might be interesting…

bumping in case anyone has more clothing than before and wants to update. I’m still using KE’s method and happy with it, still haven’t tried balen reviving without troops, but would love to hear what gains you get with inspiration now!

If you already have all your socketing rods, I would suggest you buy a lvl 6 gem scroll (1 minimum and you can convert, but as a knight with weaker gold gain you may want one for each gem) Then looking at crypt keys as the next best thing, keep in mind that they give double gains in crypt, and you need 3 for necropolis, and if you plan on farming for lvl 60 gear, you’ll probably also need to revive in there. Mounts, and mount training are great too, but with the upcoming event, you’ll be able to get some, and depending on how much you want to invest, another great mount too.

you forgot that because you’re normally put up front, you go through your hp pots faster than other classes, and have to spend your gold on more, so not only do you make less gold than other classes, you spend more.

Now, as to the mage being a better tanker than you, it could very well be that you aren’t very tanky. I would recommend looking at other knights close to your level, and seeing who is higher in battle rankings, and compare their gear and astrals to yours. Then look at higher levels and do the same, see who is willing to look at your character and help you tweak it. I would bet that you need to refine your gear more, and to strengthen your gems and astrals and guild skills!

Spire revive issue, server 5

in spire today, Randol boss, I died and used a revive. All my skills apart from the revive skill (which was on cooldown) were greyed out, so unusable. I could autoattack, but not choose any skill or rune or spire skill. I subsequently died again, someone else revived me, and I still was unable to use any of my skills or runes, just auto attack. When I died a third time, I used my second revive, and it seemed to fix the issue, but even with an extra revive, we didn’t get as far as we normally did cause I auto’d for several rounds.

I would suggest that if this happens to you, you ask your teammates not to revive you and wait for your cooldown to finish to revive yourself.

If you’ve ever seen the original trailer, (it’s shown at the beginning of one of the chinese servers but translated differently than for divine comedy, or for R2, wish I could find it to link) It shows that we are actually residents of the sky city who have fallen to the land because of the evil Yaros has placed here, and until we defeat it, both worlds are not safe. I would imagine that once we clean up Balenor, we can maybe go home and clean it up too?

I’ve also seen that we’re gonna get robot/tank type things to fight each other with. Darn my memory to not remember the name of that version of the game, think it’s a little ahead of the others. I’ll search my history later and see if I can find it.

Was asked to include the info on how to flush your dns too here: go to Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt then in the black screen type ipconfig /flushdns

I’m starting to agree with alveolate, they should shut the servers down for everyone, the ones who are in and getting into worldboss are gaining a very large advantage over players who can’t log in. At least level the playing field….

Some of us are still hoping to join our guild battles in half an hour. We can wait, but if we can get in and fight we will!
