Submit your ticket without the screenshot but include details about it and explain that in the ticket. They can still find it.

This started before maintenance for some players and seems to be mostly Firefox users, though I did talk to one opera user with it. Changing to another browser seems to be helping people. R2 platform is redirecting some just to redirect message., and again, Firefox users. Not sure if there was any new updates for Firefox? Or flash even?

I’m still waiting to hear about this issue, it’s also affecting players running on some versions of Linux that don’t have the upgraded flash yet. Asking players to try using the pepperflash embedded within the Chrome browser to see if they can get it to work with that, and you may need to disable your other flash in order to do so.

Hoping that won’t be the case here taj, but there are a lot of players currently making tickets, so you will need to be patient. I’m hoping the devs can just resend the comp to those who should have gotten it, rather than make them go through every ticket one by one.

and FWIW with regards to the original post saying all players… I read it as all too, not just some, further down the page it had a sentence telling players who had the mount that it would be changed to only seven days, then further down it said what the comp was gonna be, so yeah, I was expecting it to be for all as well. It was changed to only those +20, and it was also finished with the exact compensation. This is why they have us post the “please keep an eye on this thread” bit, because yes, things can and do change.

Seems the browsers can sometimes disable the flash players when they upgrade, because it’s an archived version that is no longer supported. Seems you’re gonna want to try using Opera if you have an Intel based system, and if that’s not working, see if your flash is disabled. There’s some info here on it not being supported and how to reenable it if it’s been disabled: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5271

This guy also claims to have a fix that might work for you, if you’re on a PPC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCrAKhv3R_c. It’s basically your version of flash, with a modded certificate saying it’s the updated one.

Use these at your own risk, this is not from R2, or myself, I have no idea if it’s gonna work for you, but I googled the issue because I am still waiting on an acceptable answer for you.

Okay, not gonna get an answer on this tonight, if I get one before maintenance starts I’ll let you know. I have NO idea at this point what could possibly change with the info on the mount in the blacksmith shop, I was under the impression that it had the correct info on it, so we’ll have to wait till I either get an answer, or we all get one ourselves.

Okay, first, she did not lie in her thread, it was the accusation of her lying that had me even look into it. (and I dug, the info I came up with, no, neither Community or I had it beforehand) Second, there never was another card hunt event because the event is still the same one, it changed yes, but there were never two. As to denying the post ever existed, I’m thinking again, her denying that another event existed is what you’re seeing, as there is no hidden post there. (we mods don’t delete posts we hide them fyi) Are we different kinds of mods? yes. I do more of the community rep on here, she does more of the event posts. We could swap if you like, but that would mean you’d need to wait about 5 hours later for me to post the events that she does because I normally sleep at this hour when the go ahead to post goes up. It would also mean that the stuff I do while you and I are both awake, you’d need to wait a few more hours for her to get to cause we have different sleep cycles. That’s a very good thing.

Thread has crossed the line though now, hiding a post and locking it, I’ve talked to R2 about the events, I’ve given you the answer I have, the thread is about a missing event, not about bashing someone who volunteers her time for you guys.

New update We apologize for the issue with the Evil Unicorn last week and will have this fixed during this week’s maintenance. Once the maintenance is over, the following items will be given to players Lvl. 20+ as compensation:

  • Mount Spirit x5
  • Mount Training Whip x50
  • Signet Training x5
  • Skeleton Key x5

For players who already synthesized the permanent Evil Unicorns before the emergency maintenance last Friday, your bugged Evil Unicorns will be turned into normal 7 day mounts after this week’s maintenance. Note: Your Evil Unicorn will expire this Friday if it was synthesized last Friday. We apologize for any and all inconvenience regarding this issue and will be offering you the following items as compensation:

  • Mount Spirit x25
  • Mount Training Whip x300

Please keep an eye on this thread for further information regarding the compensation pack details.

I really think you’re nit picking here. Community is not the only one who posts events, she’s not even the only one who can edit posts here. We’re also limited in giving descriptions of things by how R2 wants us to do it. I myself had to wait for a confirmation on my above post to you to be allowed to post it, for fear I would give incorrect information. When it comes to events, what R2 tells both Community and I to tell you is what we tell you. If we are told to tell you that one event is changed for another, that is what we will tell you, if they then go and change an existing event to become the replacement, and also improve it, but describe in a way you don’t like, then we’re hardly misinforming you, especially intentionally.

We had two events. They said the one event wasn’t working so replaced it by changing an existing one. Card hunt and Great Card hunt were never intended to be two different concurrent events, it just changed. If you saw two posts up at the same time, it may have been while one was being edited, but I can assure you there is no hidden post in the event thread where a missing event would have been. You’re not missing any event items that you may have gotten, because there was never an additional event coded into the game, the just changed the prizes, and the qualifications for it.

So both in game and on the forums, there was never another extra event that is now missing, though I understand that with the name change they gave it, it could be easy to confuse it for a different, concurrent event, but it isn’t, and it wasn’t.

The original event Card Hunter was changed to Great Card Hunt with new rewards when it replaced Lost Treasure. Great Card Hunt has superior rewards to what Card Hunter originally was, it’s not that you LOST an event, it’s that it CHANGED in order to replace one that wasn’t working. If you look at the original Card Hunter, you can imagine how hard it would be to complete ten a day, so you didn’t really lose much, you actually GAINED the ability to complete it because they also dropped the requirements to complete it. R2_Community was not at all performing a ninja stealth removal here, you just misinterpreted how they changed the event when it replaced the other one. I actually prefer the new card hunt to the other one, saves us all the complaints about no one being able to complete it.

As to me telling people to quit whining, complaining or being negative on the forums? I have been known to do that once or twice, though I prefer to do that one on one in pm so that the person knows I’m not just calling them out. You guys are free to complain about stuff, you’re free to complain about complaining, you’re free to tell people not to, and to tell them to go ahead and keep it up. I’m just here to see that when it derails a thread or takes over every post that we can tone it down so the community here can get back to doing what it does best. (we have an awesome community here, I love the informative posts, not so much the moaning ones)

If you have not had an answer within 72 hours please let me or R2_Community know with your ticket information, and we’ll make sure someone answers it. Bear in mind that some issues take longer to answer, and sometimes the people that answer them are on holiday, we had one at Chinese New Year that made it take a bit longer. Also, when something massive like the Hall of Fame bug happens, it makes every ticket take longer.

If you get an unsatisfactory answer, feel free as well to ask us about it, when I first started here, there was a player who didn’t get an answer that fit their issue, but it hadn’t been communicated well between them and the support team, on both ends. So just to make sure that the issue is understood properly is one step that can sometimes help with that, or to have them check again for something if a player is sure it should be their, we’re happy to ask for that as well.
