i level 9 and i have so far: 1 leader 1 scavanger 1 medic 1 enginier and 1warrior.
and,for PvP,the best bet for defense is watch towers with raccon sniper,so,if i split the 3 towers, and cover them with barriers, with the resorse stuff within rage, would I be safe?

also PvE means player vs exploration, rigth?
so
PvE PvP
medic:blade sniper
warrior: melle melle
scavanger:melle shotgun
raccon:sniper sniper
enginier:melle melle?
leader:? ?
i level 9 but i still a noob,i never have a PvP match,i need moar information please.

First of all, you can only have 10 survivors INCLUDING leader in your compound, so this formation is impossible.

Secondly, scavengers may be useful in the beginning, but later on you’ll learn that every single unit can scavenge, just a little longer, but with some good cover there’ll be no problem.

the Formation i’m gonna go with:
4 warriors
3 recons
1 leader
1 medic
and the last unit will be depending on what I want at the time,

Lastly:
PvE means Player vs. Enviroment.
You spelled melee wrong.

Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Suggesgons On the Game (actually turned into an idea box so post away)

Here’s my share of opinions:

Idle survivors in your compound should perform actions like eating, sleeping, drinking, cleaning weapons etc.

Since you’re in the middle of a city, zombie attacks should be much more common(around every hour a small attack, and less often bigger hordes)
and I would love it if sometimes a random zombie would stumble into your compound.

Weather should play a role in missions, food and water production, survivor efficienty while fighting etc.

Furthermore, when completing all requirements for a new survivor you should get a quest to go to a certain building/park/street.etc to recruit him/her.

And lastly you should be capable to occupy a different compound with different layout(Taking over a residence, hospital, supermarket, street etc.)

Places
-—————————————-
Gas Station
This would be a place that contains a lot of cars and double the chance for fuel rate. However, due to large fat cake rates, there is a lot of fat zombies and +1 to zombie level.

Graveyards
Areas with lots of zombies. Meant to be a training place with little/no loot and an extremely short or long timers.

Junkyards
Fields and fields of junk. Lots of zombies, too, due to discarded meat or something.

Farms/Factories/Water Filtering Areas
Areas with more food than water or vice-verca. Doesn’t contain much due to being a high priority for looting in the beginning of the apocalypse.

Power Plants/ Special hospitals
Places containing junk but linked to the storyline aspect (Powerplants mysteriously shutting down, discovery of the zombie virus)

Most of these are good ideas, except for the graveyard having zombies en masse.
Infected human beings would reanimate far before they could be buried in a graveyard so logic dictates that graveyards would actually be pretty much empty of zombies.
Even if a zombie would be buried in a graveyard, it could never claw itself out of the box into the ground.

I like this game a lot but it is still far from finished, and also in my opinion:

Topic: Dungeon Rampage / [IDEA] Rent a Heroe

Taking a look at your profile and spelling you are probably a lifeless nerd stuck at one level or another and inventing ideas that will only be useful for a couple of people (INCLUDING YOU) on the short termin, this idea has already be discarded by most people, good luck.

Topic: Dungeon Rampage / Are mod's aware of hackers ?

I say, if they wanna hack, let them hack.
At least it’s not leeching, this way I can actually beat a dungeon if it’s too hard!
I’m not saying that It’s not a problem, but it’s not the end of the world either, they should first take care of leechers in my opinion.

This is basically buying pets but then with heroes, and you NEED friends for this.
Wouldn´t it just be alot easier to ask your friends to help you out while they ARE online?

Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Bug Report: Compound Attack Never Ends?

Soulslicerjames, It is not smart to completely box your compound in with barricades, you should always leave a couple of entrances(wich you ofcourse should have heavily guarded).

Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Effective Defense

Hey NeoKnight, I´m also still under Newbie protection but I have played alot of other strategy and defence game like this one and here are some tips.

-You should always put rally points beside barricades.

-Put fighters with melee and short range weapons on the first and second line (of defence).

-Put recons with long range weapons on third, fourth, fifth and all other lines as backup to the warriors.

-Make sure there are enough medics on each line to keep the fighters alive.

-Make sure that your storages are behind the lines, because those are the things that raiders are after.

-Your last line of defence shall be whatever survivors are not battle class(Scavengers, engineers and your leader.

-Put traps inbetween lines to treshold your enemies while your recons pick them off.

Hope this helps.

This happened to me too after buying the ranger, I decided to just do each level from A to Z because I think it otherwise ruins the game.

Topic: Dungeon Rampage / lots of ideas and changed to make this game more serius

Guilds more or less force players to interact with eachother in-game, maybe some people just want to go solo without feeling pressure from other people. Maybe people liked this game the way it was and don’t like the extra money drops, armour and robes could only be looted from chests, lowering the chances of a weapon that you wanted/gem etc.

Aside from that, some people don’t need a real reason to stop but just that the game changed.

You clearly don’t understand what I meant, I’ll explain:
Developing games is a big gamble, the money you get out of it really depends on the amount of players that enjoy it and want to pay for it.
The people that develop this game need to invest money to do that so(Develop the game), and there’s a big chance that part of the players don’t like the changes and will stop paying/playing.
Counting in all the risks that come with it, it’s safer to leave the game as it is.

Btw, I never said that your lack of grammar made you a less worthy human then me, I just said it disturbed me.

And how is it possible that you never went to school, probably don’t have a job, and STILL can afford to have a computer with internet!?

Your lack of grammar skills is disturbing.
Also, it’s not healthy to use the computer that much.
Your ideas seem well but you need to think of how much time and effort it takes to make that a big changes to the game.

Pets cost very much gems, and health pots can only be used once dead, wich may cause bigger problems, imagine being swarmed and dying, you may get killed immediatly again. Now imaging spam-clicking bacon, that may safe your life.

And I also would like Mercenary NPC’s to take with you on solo dungeons.

Topic: Dungeon Rampage / Suggestions.

I have some ideas for the game to become more fun:
First of all, I’d like an inventory that you can take with you in battles and store food and mana in. It’s a real pain in the ass to gather food and taking a hamburger with you would be the ultimate relief.
A 2×2 screen that you can enlarge while in a dungeon would be more than enough.

Secondly, being able to pick up food and mana pots when at full health and put it in said inventory would make it even more effective at using in dungeons.

Should this idea be implemented then the best place to buy food and mana would be in the shop.

My second Idea is turning the main town into a dungeon,
it would be fun to walk trough a village and chat to random people.

Sorry Florian, Ain’t gonna happen, dungeon rampage is a good game, but these people need to make a living.
The only way you be getting gems is either trough chest or trough buying.

I don’t think there will be any compensation, boxes were extras that you could from monsters very, VERY easy. I’d recycle them, if you’re hoping for a compensation maybe you can keep like 1 or 2 of every kind.

A battle doesn’t necessary need to be over in 10 secs, putting 2 strong players against eachother may even lead to a real showdown!
Plus, there should be tiers so that newbies don’t get in fights with pros that easy.
