Looks like I missed a lot. The simon vs Kat was very lol. Sad that Simon doesn’t know about congeal+Shockwave, but i guess that would mess up balance.

I treat stories as games, and i want full rules on games, but im not going to expect a list :D
Also, since kat is so smart, why would she make a fat deck?

I actually agree with you on this part, mainly the situational cards.
But not exactly how you described it: steam machine, aragio, antlion… they can be put into a deck build around them.
The problem lies with cloak, purify, sanctuary, holy light…
Now, I know that these aren’t all UP or underused. The point is, they are too situational – their value depends on the opponent’s deck.
I have no idea how to fix this.

Sanctuary is not situational. Only its secondary, non healing, effect is. Purify can be used to mitigate some damage or counter poison/shard of sacrifice. Its far less situational then it used to be and i would say that is fine now.

Armagio is inferior to heal. It has some HP combos (catapult, accel) but id prefer a flying titan. The only other thing is BB, but id still rather use heals. BB also works better with dolls.
I agree cloak is balance.
Some nymphs are fine, but some nymphs are OP. The biggest example is golden nymph. There is a reason pretty much anyone with them will use them for most time decks.
Sanctuary: SoG does much better regen (2 quanta difference). Sometimes id use sanc so i can use blessing w/o/ making it a trio, or maybe in a QTSNbow where i cant use the mark, but i still prefer SoG.
The thing that makes me upset with purify is that everyone uses it ONLY for the antisosac.

As with any CCG, there is an RPS meta.
It could be with decks(rush, domin, stall)
or with OP cards(Card, counter, anything else)
The problem with say dilgo is that you dont use it since SoFo does everything and better.
I’m not saying nerf the OP shards since They are Zanz’s profit.
Pay $5 and you can get:

3 PCs in one card and a Bh to top it.
A cheaper and stronger sanc
a stronger heal with light based synergy
A psuedo dim with less counters
A slightly better blessing at the cost of HP, with ocasion moment to top it
A 3 for 1 card advantage
a spell that is worth multiple pillars/turn, with 2 ability uses to top THAT.
A card that accelerates grinding speed, and makes slow decks have to deal with the speed of rushs
4 cards for Field immaterial momentum and +attack
A utility stall breaking card, only acessable to grinders/farmers/payers
a much better stallbreaker, with 2 being enough attack for a stall
Or you can pay $120 and get a main deck of the upped meta right of the bat.

Not im saying shards should be nerfed, but thier OPness gives zanz $$$ for updates, at the cost of balance.
Personally I think Updates>balance, so the problem shouldnt be fixed.

I know its a bit late but:

Darkness stance is really UP, it gives everyone health and then nukes the field. Useless.

That would be OP. I’d totally make a darkness bonebolt with sparks as fodder.
The current version is a bit UP IMO. This is what it means:
Target creature gains AB+7HP and is delayed and immaterial for B turns. Where A is the number of creaures on the field minus 2 and B is it’s HP. It fits more in gravity’s theme. I guess it could be used in RoL hope, but 3 cards (stance Cata and freeze) and vulnerability to PC means no. I’d rateher use SoP
